Pulling up our car tonight my boyfriend asked for $ 20 Premium. The attendant Ephran filled up our tank instead. When he asked him about it he lied and said he asked us and we said fill it. I had clearly heard my boyfriend say $ 20. I was in the passenger seat.
The money isn’t the issue. The issue is his unapologetic attitude. We asked for a manager and Ephran yelled at us. He didn’t give a crap at all! I’ve left a voice message for the manager and I may update my review if they call us back. Unprofessional service, actually a disservice! Woodstock deserves better.

They are always helpful and prompt for gas, and have been super nice for quick fixes like a tire puncture repair, a leaking coolant system, etc. Love having them in our neighborhood.

I’ve only bought gas here (haven’t used them for other auto services), but the attendants are always friendly and quick with their service. Nice neighborhood gas-​up!

My tire was leaking air (A nail was stuck on it) but it was after 6pm (Les Schwab close at 6) so I rushed to the gas station to put air. Then called AAA and it would take them at least 35 min to come to just put a spare tire. Asked the gas station attendee and he sad he can fix it for $ 20. Grabbed a dinner, came back and it was all done. Perfect!

I’ve never had a mechanic than I can rate higher than Alan. He KNOWS HIS STUFF. In addition, he’s wonderful to work with– explains thoroughly what needs to be done, doesn’t try to add any work that isn’t needed (in fact, he tries to save you money wherever possilbe), and all with a great smile and attitude. I’d give him 6 stars if 6 stars were available. I recently told him that my car and myself will follow him to the ends of the Earth.

Unfortunately Tyler, he was harassing me because I was trying to enter my phone number on the keypad for the points prior to pumping and that wouldn’t work so I was manually entering my Fred Meyer card number. I entered it once and he took my debit card to swipe and he swiped it too quickly so it wouldn’t read. Then he said ‘your card is no good’. I then had to get out of the car to manually enter the Fred Meyer card number again then swiped my debit card myself. I got back into the car and the attendant went to the pump and started pressing buttons then pumped the gas. I asked for a receipt, which he threw into my window! That’s when I saw the full price fuel charge. There is no reason for that man to be so rude and aggressive!!! So what if I have to manually enter my card ID # !!!
Customer service should be #1 that means being kind to the people who give you the ability to have a job!!!

In February 2014, AL the new mechanic robbed me. Bold faced lied to me about being able to repair my wiper motor on my passat. I paid 480.00 here turned my care with no working wiper motors and the wiper arms sitting in my back seat. He told me my computer needed to be reset and take it to another mechanic to do. I was furious, took it to another shop and they said he put a junk yard motor on and they were shocked that he charged me sooo much to do nothing. I even told al I was a single mom, full time student and that I was going to trust him. He robbed me, scammed me, it’s awful. He should have told me he doesn’t have the tools or a computer to run a diagnostic or fix passats. I called him and asked for a refund if some of the money back upon recommendation of owner at Munich motors, AL refused. He would rather keep the money than have any dignity. He took advantage of an uninformed trusting customer. I will tell everyone I know, I have posted on Facebook, LinkedIn and Twitter. I might even picket it this weekend with my children. I need the money he scammed back to fix my car. I am on a limited income, he knew that.

There are several flaws in what Allen told but let me share with you that rebuffing people negative experience with you company on Unilocal by telling them they are wrong is not customer service nor doesn’t make you a better business person, and just because YOU say it didn’t happen like that doesn’t mean I am lying. First off you gives someone back there car that a customer paid to have fix with out one of the comments working? It’s true I did ask him to keep the cost down, he said he had a friend who rebuilt them, and he liked and trusted him. I trusted Allen. I, not Allen called around and priced new motors, yes they were more expensive, I felt relieved that he said he could get a cheaper one. I trusted him that it would not be a piece of junk. Munich motors did not charge me a cent for the 2 hours of diagnostic. They felt bad for me after looking at the bill and looking at the «new «motor that had just been put in. They in fact are charging me less then what you guys did. They informed that I should call and ask for a refund and that no mechanic should charge some one money had over a car that just had its windsheild wiper motor replaced and not have it work once. The windshield wiper blades were siting on my back seat. Your garage does not have the computer nor the tools to fix passat, Al should have told me that, instead he took my money and have me back a vehicle whole wiper blades have never even turned on yet ! He should not have taken the money without letting me know that I needed to go to a different shop for more work or computer reset afterwards. That is fraud, that is lying and if you are going to defend it, then I guess that’s the kind of business you want to run. I have been to that shop several times, never again. I will continue to tell everyone in my neighborhood, kids school, softball, Facebook about what you did. I still expect a refund. He put on a broken motor and was unable to run a diagnostic due to no computer. Which that is what the $ 90.00 is that he didn’t charge, a diagnostic fee. You can attempt to retell the story so your garage looks like it’s coming out on top, but it’s not the truth, you took advantage of someone who wasn’t informed and trusted what her mechanic said he would do. He put in a broken motor, diagnosed the car incorrectly and returned it to the owe at and charged her … That’s wrong, and if someone took your money and gave you broken and badly used equipment you would want a refund a the situation rectified as well.
He lied, he never got them to move, simply backed my car off the ramp and handed me a print out to take to another car dealership. He told me verbatim «tell them your boyfriend was trying to fix it and couldn’t, give the a sob story». I called him he said to bring it back, but after such a horrible experience and feeling lied to, how could I trust him? He is not telling you the truth. He never showed me working wipers, im couldn’t get it to work either. He told me that they only get a 100 wipes before resetting into park!!! Your mechanic is telling to a «shoty» story, just like the motor he out in. I am not sure what his motives were?! But my motives were in the right, I was willing to pay for the work done, but it wasn’t done, I got a none working motor out in and by all impression he knew and deceived me.

My version is 100% accurate! his is not. I trusted him, and paid him and thanked him. Then walked in the garage and was stunned at what happend next. None working matter, blades not put on, a print out and him telling me to lie to another mechanic to get free work from them, disgraceful.

This is my first review Ive ever written. So, I know I got GREAT service!!! After getting into a car accident and not being able to drive my car (hole in oil pan) I called the shell and talked to dj. She was super amazing and very helpful. I had my car up and running same day. I picked up my car after the mechanic shop was closed and the gas attendant was very helpful. I asked him how I could get the black mark off my bumper and he was so awesome he actually did it for me. They sold me on the business and if I ever need help again thats the place Im going!

Tyler’s explanation of the card minimum IS reasonable, and I understand that accepting cards can cost small businesses a lot.
And it turns out that, while setting card minimums used to be a violation of Visa/MC’s merchant regulations (not illegal, sorry — but serious grounds for getting your ability to accept those cards canceled), the Dodd-​Frank reform in 2010 explicitly allows merchants to set a minimum purchase amount of up to $ 10.
So I’m raising the stars for Shell — I don’t want to be unfair — but only to 4, because I wasn’t offered the chance to pay a small fee to use my card, as Tyler says they generally do. It was cash (which I didn’t have on me) or nothing — I was turned away. (While it IS still technically not allowed for merchants to charge a fee for credit card use — I don’t have a big problem with it as long as it’s reasonable — like $ 0.50 or something).
Tyler was exceptionally nice to me previously, so I’m sure I’ll be back to the Shell… when I know I need enough gas to hit the minimum purchase required. I’m among the many who just don’t carry cash anymore!

I’ve never had an experience with an auto repair shop anywhere near the experience that I had here. My car had seen 2 – 3 mechanics a year since 2008, and none of them seemed to pay much attention to what was really going on with my car, nor would they really communicate with me about the work they were doing or why my car was behaving the way it was. They either didn’t know, or they didn’t care enough to find out. This includes Sho’s – which I had heard nothing but good things about, so I’m surprised – but I went to them four separate times and they never mentioned or directed effort towards what was actually wrong with it.
The owner, Tyler Jakes, opened up instant communication with me about my car. He explained to me in detail what was wrong with it, and he made sure I understood. He spoke to me at length about every amount of work that he was putting into my car, what parts were needed and why. To Tyler, customer relations isn’t just «good business,» it’s part of his working process: the more he talks to you, the more he’ll find out about the car and its history and be better informed to figure out the root of the problem.

I was in a panic when my tire blew. I called the Shell station on Woodstock looking for a inexpensive used tire. I was given an excellent deal and treated with respect and kindness. I will go there again. I HIGHLY recommend Tyler and his crew for any vehicle needs. Thanks guys!

Tyler and Arny took great care of my 2001 Subaru. When I dropped my car off, I was offered a ride to work. I did not accept because it was a great day for a walk, but the offer was appreciated.
Belts replaced, gaskets sealed, and they even threw in a free oil change!
When I have come in the past to get gas, one of their attendents noticed that my tire was going flat and helped me out by filling it for me. I was wear a suit and heels and obviously struggling.
Nothing but love for these guys.

Excellent service all around. James took the time to walk with me to work and try to help start my car so I didn’t have to have towed. I would have never thought someone would take time out of an obviously busy day to do that. My car was also fixed way earlier than I could pick it up. Needless to say they have a loyal customer for life. I would not hesitate to recommend to my best friend or any family member. Thanks for making so painless.
