Yellow Cab

We called 4 hour in advance for a cab for a dinner party after they were 30 minutes late we called them and they said sorry they were busy it might be another hour. Really! So we were extreamly late. Sorry?

Not sure if management reads these or not… but one of your drivers did something blatantly illegal and dangerous yesterday. I was stopped at the red light at SW 2^nd and Clay on the side of the Marriott. I was in the right lane. Your driver passed me on the right driving through empty parking spots. Then when the light turned green he cut in front of me. Considering your company name is plastered all over the car, I wouldn’t think you’d want one of your drivers doing that. It makes you look bad as a company. Next time I’ll call the police.

I just had another awful experience with Broadway cab. I requested a cab for me and my small dog and made a note that I will have a small dog with me. When the cab driver got there he began yelling at me for having a dog and told me that next time I would have to let them know in advance. I told him calmly that I did let Broadway cab know via leaving driver instructions. I refused to get in this drivers cab and called another cab.
I refuse to use your services if you hire people that verbally abuse their customers.

THE WORST! Never use this cab company! Called the night before and made a reservation to get picked up at 5am the following morning for a ride to the airport to catch a flight. They never showed up. I called numerous times and no one answered the phone. How is this any way to run a business?

Got into a cab late Thursday evening and driver said that he only took cash, and when I asked him to turn the meter on he refused and said no. At that point I got out of the cab and just my luck my iPhone 6 slipped out of my pocket. When I got home to try to track it had been turned off. Shady service and pretty much theft. I Will never use them again I hope Über provides better service when they come to Portland.

This is a HORRIBLE cab company. I asked for a cab to take us to the airport with 24 hours notice. No one ever came and nobody would answer the phone. They have an answering machine and will not call me back. One star is one too many for this unreliable irresponsible company.

If I’d been smart enough to read reviews I never would have called them, but being from out of town and having Yellow Cab come up as first cab listed in google, I called. I was stranded at night in an unfamiliar area. They promised 5 – 10 minutes until pick up. After 20 minutes I called and got voicemail, I left my number and asked them to confirm that they were actually sending someone. No call back. After 30 minutes of no-​show, I called Radio Cab and they were there in 3 minutes! I tried to call Yellow again to give them a piece of my mind, but they again did not pick up. It seems like from other reviews they will screen calls from numbers they have promised rides to that they know they are not going to end up picking up. How are they in business?

My son got home from a friend’s house at 2 am this morning, and he saw a Yellow Taxi cab driver back into a neighbor’s car, then when he saw my son watching, leave a note, or pretend to, then take off. There was NO note on her car this morning, and not one of our neighbors would have removed it! We will see what they do about this, but fortunately for my neighbor my son happened to be out late and was vigilant enough to take down their information. He came in and woke me up when he got into our condo and told me what had happened. This reminds me of this past winter, when A-​1 Towing’s driver hit me, in this same condo lot, then lied, saying I made it up. What is with these shady business practices in our community!

Can I give zero stars? Called the night before and was quoted price and given time. then they never showed. I called FOUR TIMES in the morning and never answered – just got voice mail. I had to make my friend wake up at 430am to take me to the airport. Do not use!

If I could give them a 0 star review I would. I called them for a cab on a Friday evening and they told me they would be by in 10 minutes. 30 minutest later they still hadn’t arrived so I called back, at which point they ignored my call, I attempted calling a few more times and each time they blocked my call. Because of this I was almost an hour late, don’t use this cab company.

Horrible customer service

These guys ran my credit card to the tune of $ 6000. I called them to deal with it, they said they would call me back with answers. Never got a return call.
My bank is handling it and my account is being credits.
I hope these guys get charged with fraud.
Never trust these guys with your credit card information.

Like several other folks, I made a reservation the night before for a cab at 7 am. No one showed, and no one picked up the phone at their dispatch. Once they were 15 minutes due, I called a radio cab and they showed up shortly after. Still haven’t heard from yellow cab two hours later.

Said they’d come in 10 minutes to take my friend to the airport. Didn’t show or call. As bad as it gets.

I called the night before to reserve a cab to the airport at 7:00am the next morning. The dispatcher assured me he would assign a driver and that he/​she would be there on time. Nobody showed up, they didn’t call and when I called them, I got voicemail with a full box. Never again.

I affirm what every other Unilocaler seemed to observe. My driver nearly killed a cyclist, charged me far over the amount allowed and despite being told on the phone that credit cards were accepted. Additionally, I was charged to be driven to a nearby atm in a hotel which charged outrageous fees to pull out money to pay the driver. I was also overcharged (the maximum $ 2.50 per mile fee).

We called them to get a van can for 5 or 2 cabs… But they NEVER showed up. And I kept calling and no one answered. Is there just one cab driver doing everything?!? Bullshit. Not the way to run a business.

Wish I could give 0 stars. Made a reservation online with my credit card… no confirmation call, email, nothing. After reading Unilocal reviews, wish I would’ve done that first! (bad move on my part!) now crossing fingers my card doesn’t gt charged for a service that doesn’t show up.
(Broadway cab called this place «ghetto». Nice!)

It’s been years since I wrote a review here but I had to chime in and say I had the same experience as others who reviewed Yellow Cab. I called the night before for a cab at 5:15am. At 5:20 no one was there so I called and the guy hung up on me! I called back and it went straight to voicemail. I tried again: Voicemail.
I then called Broadway Cab and a car was there within minutes. The driver told me Yellow Cab is notorious.
Unless you actually don’t want a cab, don’t call Yellow Cab. For real.
