We had Clyde’s truck make an appearance at our wedding for 100+ people yesterday and he hit it out of the park! We had picked out 10 different flavors and and he made a few extras just for good measure. They were delicious and a huge hit! He has chalkboards on the side of the truck and he let us scribble all kinds of stuff on it-if you’re looking for a novel idea for your event I’d definitely recommend Clyde!

Clyde’s came to a family wedding that I attended and they were awesome. The carrot cake, the peanut butter cup, the pumpkin were all fantastic, moist, flavorful, with lots of tasty frosting. I would highly recommend them.

My family and I stopped by his truck in Portsmouth on the 4th of July. We bought 3 cupcakes at $ 3 per. The vanilla/vanilla tasted like sawdust, the red velvet tasted like some sort of stale muffin, and the chocolate had an indescribably strange aftertaste. These were quite possibly THE worst cupcakes I’ve ever eaten. Needless to say, for 3 bucks a pop I was expecting more. With so many fantastic bakeries in Portsmouth this was a big mistake. Sorry Clyde — time for some new recipes.

Great cupcake truck worth checking out if you’re off the main roads in downtown Portsmouth. The award-winning bacon chocolate cupcake has some of the best, unique frosting I’ve ever tasted. I wasn’t wild about the cake part itself, but the generous frosting was worth the $ 3, for sure. The truck has lots of other items, as well, including cupcakes and rice krispies treats.
