I finally got signed up and the installer/installation was great. However, the bill was $ 250(it was supposed to be $ 29). I was on the phone for over an hour(with several transfers) before I finally got this taken care of. I cancelled the service and was told that I would receive a return label for the modem. No return label ever came(this is the most non-responsive company I have ever dealt with). I called again to inquire about the return label. The phone representative said that one was never shipped. He would send another, but that he wasn’t sure the credit would be recorded and told me I should check back a week after I returned it to make sure that they had recorded the return. He said sometimes people accidentally get sent to collections because Century Link doesn’t always record the returns. Wow…I didn’t know a single company could have so much incompetence at every level! I switched service to Comcast and my experience with Comcast’s small business service has been great! I had a single representative assigned to me with his DIRECTNUMBER. He has followed up to make sure everything has gone well and carefully explained all of the fees and charges. I am not a fan of Comcast’s residential service(although it is a hundred times better than this experience with Centurylink), but their small business service has been stellar!
