Evelyn did my makeup for my wedding, and absolutely blew me away with her talent.
I had previously worked for a wedding makeup company in Seattle, and when I wanted to find something a little closer to home, I knew going into it I had particular taste.
The minute I found Evelyn, I instantly knew I had to reach out to her. From the start, she was genuine, friendly and so easy to work with! I explained right away what I was looking for, and from the very first trial, she NAILED IT. I drove out to her home in Post Falls where we did a trial in her living room, and I was immediately put at ease by how friendly and knowledgable she was. She even makes some of her own makeup!
On the day of, she was prompt and professional. It’s a given that the bride will normally take extra time when doing makeup, but Evelyn gave extra care to make sure my bridesmaids were taken care of to the best degree. It was fun to watch the confidence explode out of my friends.
If you’re looking for a makeup artist, look no further. Not only was the experience 5+ stars, but I gained a lifelong friend out of the process. Thank you!

Evelyn is AMAZING! She is as sweet as can be and does a fantastic job. She did the makeup for my best friend’s wedding. I was a bridesmaid and had the privilege of having my makeup done by her. I’ve had my makeup done by other artists before, but Evelyn was hands down my favorite. She is incredibly talented and I will use her for my special day, or any other special occasion!

Evelyn does amazing work. I hired her for my winter 2014 wedding, and had my trial done for my engagement pictures. She also did my sister’s wedding make up. Unfortunately, we had to change our wedding date to summer and Evelyn was already booked for the date. I was so disappointed that we weren’t able to book a date that would work for everyone, because she does such incredible work, and is a fun and sweet person to be around, while making you feel both relaxed and like a princess! You won’t regret booking her for your wedding!

I was a model for a bridal shoot Evy was apart of. She took the inspiration photo and put her own personal style into it. My make-​up was flawless! She brought out my best features, covered my flaws all while being timely and such a great conversationalist. I would highly recommend Evy for any event or occasion. Evy Mauro is a fabulous local make up artist! She is great at listening to her client, developing their style, and producing a make up style the client absolutely loves! She is also very flexible and calm which is essential on a wedding day… she get the job done, goes with the flow, and the final product is stellar! I also love that she can stay and do make up for the entire wedding party and moms and can come on site to the bride on a wedding day!
