This place is my hair’s savior. Ofeer fixed a hair disaster from another salon-​bad color and sloppy cut, and it looks fantastic now after his wise eyes and clever hands. I can always get an appointment when I need and am seen quickly. The waiting area in the back is lovely and the prices (especially for the area) are very reasonable for the caliber of work. I’m a forever client, for sure!

Just a great experience at Zohra’s in the men’s salon. Ofeer has an excellent salon. I recommend you try it.

I have been going here for a couple years and is very happy with their service. I also want to mention Runaka, the eyelash extension lady, she is AMAZING! Her technique in eyelash is superb, She does my eyelash for every special occasion. I trusted her to do them for my wedding.. So it goes without saying how great she is.

This was my first visit here. My impressions: Friendly staff, beautifully decorated salon, nice set up with an area to relax away from other services in the back. I got a color and cut, both came out great! Color is rich and hair is very shiny. The cut is different than I usually get but stylist listened to my requests and it came out well. Got positive feedback from others on the style.

Decent stylists, but their front desk personnel are not the least bit professional. And trying to figure out where you are to go in their maze of chairs and stations is ridiculous. There’s just no real personal service or indication that they care.
The lack of service and attentiveness is obvious from the very start –while just making the appointment on the phone. This has happened more than once and I think it’s time to find another salon.

As I sit here with color on my hair, I had to
share my fondness of the Zohra Salon. I have to mention my expert colorist –Barbara. She has been transforming me from feeling older and unhappy about my looks to feeling younger and more positive about myself. The years just melt away as they wash away the gray.
Barbara is honest about what color she thinks will look good on you. She will tell you what colors look good with your skin tone and eye color. She has a wealth of knowledge and experience. You would do well to trust her judgement.
Mila is the wonderful person who washes off your color. Her shampoo and rinse will leave you relaxed and revitalized. I practically fall asleep as she massages my scalp and rinses my hair. I can’t say enough about her talented shampoos. A little piece of heaven. I don’t want to leave her chair. She is fabulous.
The whole Zohra experience is wonderful. It is not cheap, but your worth it. I recommend them highly and have been a client for years. You can thank me later. Enjoy!

I have been getting my hair done by Kevin at Zohra Salon for over 6 years and he is absolutely fabulous! The salon is clean and nicely decorated and the stylists are excellent especially Kevin. He specializes in blondes but does great brunettes as well. Not sure why people are leaving negative reviews, this salon is top notch.

For a haircut, ask for Johnny. He is great! Very consistent. Haven’t tried anyone else. I don’t color my grays. He cuts me, and my two boisterous boys who like their hair on the long side! $ 70 + tip for me. $ 35+tip for the boys.

One month later and I’m still getting compliments on my haircut. Just had to come back and say this!

I did not like the cut I got (it looks a layered mess) and it cost way too much ($ 65!). I’ve gotten wayyyy better results with a standard (and much less costly) cut and blow-​dry at the Hair Cuttery. Will not return.

Unfortunately, I will never go back. I found Barbara when I moved to MD a year ago. Barbara is the most talented, amazing colorist (and I am very, very picky about color) but she doesn’t cut or blow dry hair. So, after trying three different stylists, all of whom gave me mediocre cuts worthy of Hair Cuttery, I tried Kevin. He is okay, maybe even very good. BUT, on two occasions I was kept waiting for more than an hour between color and cut. One other time, after color but no cut and I was left with wet hair on a cold day, I was told that I would need to pay for a blow-​out by one of the stylists. I didn’t want anything elaborate, just dry hair. I don’t blame Barbara for this. She doesn’t cut or blow dry and she is clear about this to her clients. But, I don’t see why I should have been asked to pay for an additional service (dry hair) after dropping more $ 200 on color and highlights, not including the tips. Evidently the salon’s bad service is my fault, not theirs. The front desk is arrogant and rude. If Barbara went anywhere else, I would follow her. I just won’t give my money to this salon.

Wow… Some harsh reviews here! I see Cindy and I live her for my curly hair. She is Deva certified and that’s how I found her, by the Deva website. She does a great job with color and cuts and I’m always happy she’s an artist, too outside of cutting hair. She’s also very available because she lives her job.
The salon is nice. It doesn’t strike me as dirty. It’s getting steeped constantly. The front desk staff are hit or miss. Some seem a bit stuck up and others are nice. They do expect you to know where to go though. They’ve called me in the past asking me to change my appointment time which annoyed me.
There’s a nice lounge area in the back with tea, coffee and sometimes bagels depending on time of day.
They also sell jewelry. They’re not open on Monday or Sunday
Anyway, I go for Cindy. I’m happy.
The only downside really is that you can’t tip on credit card.

No sure if I agree with the other Unilocal review… I have always had the best experience at Zohra and I have been going here for the last 8 years… Ask for Ofeer or Ofir. He is the main stylist and does an absolutely outstanding job!

I love my hairstylist, Kevin. I always get complements on my hair. But the front desk service is usually pretty terrible. I always always always have to call more than one time to make an appointment. Some times the phone can ring with no answer or an answering machine. Some times I am on hold until I get tired of waiting. And most times the woman sounds cranky.
If not for the front desk, the salon would get 5 stars.

This store reopened and is amazing! The space is beautiful and welcoming. Ofeer is the owner and I have been going to him for a few years. He is so talented and I think he knows what shaping looks best for my hair better than I do anymore! He is creative and modern, and also does an amazing job with color. I get so many compliments on my color! They offer beverages and snacks while you wait, and you can also get a mani/​pedi at the same time which is great if you are short on time. Also, if your man likes to have a hot shave or a little extra pampering, they have a separate section for guys for those services. It is very private with TVs and they serve beer.

I went in as a walk-​in and was grateful that a hairdresser, who had just left came back, but I’m sad to say I didn’t have a good experience.
Besides being shuffled around and not knowing where to go, the salon needed a good cleaning and my cut was not good. I wanted long layers, but instead got chunky, clunky layers… basically a Jennifer Aniston ‘do.
I will not be coming back.
