I’ve been interested in going to this place for some time now, but today was my first time. Excellent experience. My main concerns were pricing and seating. The prices seemed just right and I was impressed by the size of the space and the many seating options within it. The staff was super friendly. My chai latte, parfait, and garden salad were all excellent! And was very interested in trying other menu items; they have some great options! I was not anticipating live music over the lunch hour, but there was and it was fantastic. Great music to work to. Also, the wifi worked perfectly. It was a great environment to get work done or to have a conversation with a friend. Great space, prices, food, music, and atmosphere. Now all that said, part of the reason this was my first time is their hours. I’m more of an afternoon/evening gal and most days they close at 3pm. I would love it if they were open later. The other difficult part was parking. Traveling east on high street, I pulled into their parking only to realize it was full. As I pulled through I could see they had additional parking by their drive through, but could not turn into it because it’s one-way. I ended up driving around a bit, avoiding a left turn on Moser Rd, to get back onto High St to get to the parking along the drive-through. It was a bit inconvenient, but well worth the experience. This was exactly the kind of place I wanted– a place to be comfortable, get some good drinks and food, and to get work done– all at a great location. I only wish they were open later.

Closes at 3 pm even though Unilocal says 5. Same thing happened last time I was here, however that was 4 pm.

Proximity café is a gem in Pottstown. The café is spacious and offers plenty of seating. This is a great place to meet with a friend and catch up over a cup of coffee or to sit and do work on your computer. I enjoyed everything I’ve ordered there which so far has been iced coffee and chai. The butter crumb cake is so rich and delicious, it was heavenly. Another reason I love proximity is because of the events they host. There are salsa and bachata lessons every Thursday at 7pm and 8pm respectively. $ 13 for drop in. They also have a salsa social on the first and third Friday’s of each month for $ 5. Guys what, they also have a drive through!

Used to come here a lot… today, I asked who made the soup, got argued with by the guy on shift and the woman was clueless. Two more apathetic people in customer service I have never seen. Left with nothing and the guy had the nerve to say, no worries! I said it should be a worry! Will NEVER return :(

I hate to bash business establishments but this one has to be said. Over priced coffee that is about as good as wawa coffee at best. I went 3 times trying to see if it was just me but I was proven right about my views. I tried to engage in friendly conversation with the woman who owns it, or at least manages and she had nothing but yes, no, answers. Im sorry but if you have a café style establishment you should greet and be somewhat appreciative of the people buying at your business. The inside of the place is kind of artsy and relaxing with the chairs, but that’s all the positive I can say. I tried supporting a local business instead of a chain such as Starbucks, but at least at Starbucks I’m always treated like I’m a wanted customer. I say buy a Kuerig or stick to wawa coffee.

The staff and atmospher are great. Sadly it seems they changed drink recipes since they opened and not for the better. Hopefully they go back to what they started with. They are not using enough espresso in there drinks. The original Americano they had was amazing, but now it’s very weak.

This is a fairly new café on the main drag. Great atmosphere inside. Love that you can just sit with friends and enjoy coffee. My coffee was good. My soup which was a kale/sausage was a little rough. I do happen to love kale too. Too much of something. Stopped a different time and purchased a panini which was delicious. Will go back for that, probably stay away from the soup. I have not listened to the live entertainment yet so I can’t comment on that. I do hear it is usually good. I’ll update when I do. It’s great having a specialty coffee shop around other than DD and wawa.

Came here for the first time today and I will definitely be back. It’s a true gem to find a quaint café like this amidst all of the Dunkin Donuts and Starbucks in the area. I was surprised by how large it was inside. There is plenty of seating, including comfortable chairs and couches. There is a really relaxing vibe and it was perfect for reading my book. I definitely want to come back when they have live music, too. I ordered a hot vanilla latte and it was excellent. I can’t wait to try other coffee drinks on their menu.

Starbucks worthy lattes at 2⁄3 the price. Check it out. A great group of people work here too. They have live music often.

I got a Montana at the drive thru. Montana is a shot of espresso in a cup of coffee. It was a little acidic but good and the service was friendly. Looking forward to going back and trying out more of their food and coffee

The staff is extremely friendly and the ambience is great for catching up with a friend, doing work, or relaxing with a good cup of coffee. I would highly recommend the Café Americano with a sweet snack on the side. The prices are reasonable for a coffee house, but the friendly company and the unique space are worth it.

thoroughly enjoy their soy chai lattes, and mocha frappes. the ambience inside is rather nice; they have a nice bar with outlets to charge your phone while you have your daily caffeine fix(convenient). the baristas are all really nice and they get to know you pretty fast. very nice café.

Cute atmosphere. Very friendly staff. Good music. Such a shame the food was so bad. Purchased 3 breakfast sandwich to go at a cost of $ 12 total. My husband, son, and myself each had one. After a few bites, I immediately felt sick and threw it out. My son did the same. My husband finished his anyway and within 20 minutes after eating he had severe stomach cramps and diarrhea. Sadly, this place has so much potential, but the food situation needs serious attention. The high cost for such poor food is upsetting. I sincerely hope this issue will be addressed as Pottstown is in desperate need of more small businesses like this.

Great atmosphere combined with well made coffee and an inviting staff makes this a regular stop for me.
