Rude service and poor looking donuts will not be going to this location for a long time.

If you’re driving south on US 9, and you missed the Dunkin’ in Hyde Park, you need to be patient — you have to drive SEVEN MILES to get to the next Dunkin’ (on US 9). I mean, that sort of thing would never happen in New England, where I think zoning regulations require you to pass at least 3 Dunkin’s in that distance. And then, it’s on the northbound side of the divided highway. So you have to wait in the left turn lane at the next traffic light to make the U-​turn, and you get to watch all the people conveniently going into and out of their parking lot from US 9 northbound out of your rear view mirror. Then you have to figure out how to get into and out of the Poughkeepsie Plaza Mall to get back on to US 9 south. Didn’t their slogan used to be, «It’s worth the trip» ?? It is certainly a lot easier if you’re driving north.
Okay, seriously, it IS worth the trip. This is a good Dunkin’. Every time I’ve gone in (from southbound, no less) it’s always been well staffed and well stocked. They’ve always been very good handling promotional offers (some other ones locally aren’t). There’s plenty of seating.
