I am giving this restaurant 5 stars for having good food in a very affordable price. I’d rather eat here than any fast food. For me, this is way healthier :) I recommend to have some Plantains with your meal because it adds a different taste– sweet.

Great Dominican food at affordable prices. Served from a hot line, the trick is to know what you want when you order. The oxtail on yellow rice is my go to!

This place serves the very best Latin food. The prices are so reasonable. This is my go to place for authentic Latin food.

Cheap, consistent Dominican food with large portions. Must try the traditional«tres golpes» breakfast of mangu(mashed plantains), fried cheese, salami and egg. $ 5 for a small and your morning starts off right. You’re gonna need a nap after!

I normally don’t give businesses five stars but chacho, Nelly’s esta… por la maceta! Te quedaras lambiendote los dedos. I’ve never had a bad plate of food from Nelly’s. Rice is fresh and pernil is juicy every time. Also, you can eat for two days with the large amount of food they serve you.

Excellent authentic Dominican food. The portions are enough for 2 – 3 meals and the food is always well seasoned, fresh and the price is reasonable. Their yellow rice with gandules, pernil(roast pork) and oxtails are the best I have had from a restaurant North of the Hutchinson Parkway. No fancy décor, you can sit and eat but I always takeout.

The food was bland. The rice and beans tasted like water and the pasteles was tasteless. I will never eat from here again. A better Dominican resturant is around the corner called Guava-berry. It’s not open as early though so a late lunch or dinner is best.

Fantastic selection of authentic spanish and dominican food! Prices are very reasonable for a big helping of food, I love to sit and eat here and watch TV and watch person after person come in to buy. Empanadas, pernil, yellow rice and beans, steak and onions, oxtails, baked chicken, beef stew and so much!
