Rude employees and then a rude manager… They didn’t want to help me at all… Told me to call a 800 number if I wanted to know why the product that I ordered over a month ago wasn’t delivered to the store yet… Terrible experience

My family came out of town to attend a funeral. We were pressed for time and wanted to make cards the size of business cards on thicker paper. We had the proof. We just needed the printing and cutting. They would not understand our needs. The lady behind printing insisted that business cards took two days to make and they could not do it in the time we wanted it. We did not want custom business cards. The service treated my family with complete disrespect. The lady acted as though she did not have time for us and completely ignored our needs. It was an emotional week and we were mourning the death of an infant family member. After telling them the situation we were in, they had no condolences and said they were unable to assist us with printing and cutting-which is what I thought they did. We walked out after the service gave up on us. We ended up going to Main Printing downtown Poughkeepsie where we received tremendous service. If you’re looking for friendly staff, do not come to this staples and support local business. Large business cannot do customer service correctly.

I was glad to see Staples is now USPS supplier but you can grow old waiting in the service center to mail a package You might as well go to the post office This is not an improvement

How much does this place suck? How do they stay in business? Needed a graphing calculator and the only help available was an aisle number shouted across the store Directions were not accurate, but hell I can be pretty resourceful Very little choice but they had the model I thought I needed For $ 149 I had questions but I’d just have to keep them to myself As I waited I checked Amazon where the same model was $ 95 and free shipping Hmmmm Then I realized is have to go 3 rounds on the Staples warranty with the big mark up I left the otherwise empty store empty handed and nobody asked if I found what I needed or anything They looked happy not to have to interact See ya

I like this particular Staples for several reasons. First — and most selfishly — it is convenient between work and home. They have a very knowledgeable and attentive staff. Every time I have been in the store, I have seen at least 2 employees walking around, greeting customers and asking everyone if they need assistance. Finally, because this is a fairly large store, there is a quite a bit of office furniture available to view.
