The Little Owl Spa

If you know me, you know I take my eyebrows VERY seriously. If you don’t know me, now you do. I searched high and low for a good esthetician to entrust with my beloved brows and Kiki is HEAVEN SENT. She is the loveliest, sweetest, most detailed and definitely educated in the field. I instantly loved the spa, her and at the end of my appointment had killer brows. I CAN NOT RECOMMEND HER ENOUGH! Can’t wait to go back for skincare next. 5 stars FOR SURE.

Love this place! The spa is clean, the ambience is relaxing and has a positive atmosphere. Kiki is awesome — she’s knowledgeable, friendly, attentive and easy going. I went in for a facial last week and my skin already feels and looks so much better. Her recommendations for my skin made a huge difference.

Kiki is wonderful, kind, patient, understanding and fun! The Little Owl Spa is a slice of heaven… a haven tucked away in an unexpected place! I look forward to going there and trying new things, as Kiki expertly guides me through everything. Kiki is amazing!!! A few visits with her and my skin went from painful, inflamed acne and never being able to go without makeup, to feeling confident about my skin again! She’s also the only person I trust with my brows. Her recommendations for skin care were incredible and helped immensely. I highly recommend her… you won’t be disappointed!

The reviews on Unilocal really helped me when i selected Owl Spa. I am very anal about great service, I guess my 10 years working in the retail service industry made me that way. I love the small intimate setting, the owner kiki is ADORABLE!!! she is so sweet, and most importantly PROFESSIONAL! the place was clean from top to bottom, I got a bikini and underarm wax and she tried to be gentle but i have a low pain tolerance. She gives you some time to undress and a towel to cover yourself. When you’re ready she enters the room to do your service. She didn’t make me feel uncomfortable (i felt like i was in an obgyn office) we chit-​chatted about our families, lives etc like having a bff wax you! Will go again soon since summer is around the corner.

I went many times to this spa, Kiki is adorable. Service is great! Kiki is very understanding and i feel like I am in good hands when i come to her with concerns and questions!

Kiki is the best!
I get a brazilian wax with her every few weeks.
The first time I went in she communicated very well to get the shape and width that I wanted and has been consistently awesome ever since!
Her manner is really casual and soothing, she’s easy to get in touch with.
The place itself is really beautiful. It’s really a little retreat. Everytime I go, it’s so relaxing I almost forget I’m getting my pubes pulled out!

Great. I moved to upstate New York for school from Southern California and had to find a salon for personal grooming. I had a wonderful experience here and I’m glad I found it. I highly recommend her: fast, friendly and relatively painless. I’ll for sure be making another appointment soon.

From the minute I met Kiki I knew I was in good hands. One of the best massages I have ever had and I have had the luxury of having many of them. She worked on my back with such care and detail as well as working the rest of my body. I am SO happy to have found her.

I moved to the New Paltz area recently from NYC and have been looking for a good spa and place to get a waxing. What a find! Kiki is wonderful — a great manner and personality, her place is beautiful and she does a fantastic facial! My skin is still glowing! Obviously there is no way I could say that a Brazilian is going to be exactly pleasant. .. but Kiki’s was one of the least uncomfortable I’ve ever had! And she is very careful and thorough. The Little Owl Spa stands up against any of the fancy NY spas I used to go to! I will definitely be coming back!

This place is a secret that’s too good not to tell.
Today was my first time here, and I loved the experience. I had a wax done, and it was easily the quickest, most painless, and thorough wax I’ve ever had… and I’ve been getting them for years at various salons all over the country (and world). Kiki is so sweet and so easy to chat with, and clearly very good at what she does.
The ambiance of the place is wonderful. It’s small and intimate — just one room and a waiting room, but the warm, eclectic décor is so homey and welcoming. It’s hidden away in an office building like a secret nesting place for all the little antiques and owl statues, obviously meticulously collected and placed with a rustically elegant style.
Add to this that the prices are reasonable and the products are all natural, and it’s honestly the best I’ve ever found. I’ll definitely go back for more waxes, and I want to try out all her skin treatments, too.

Little Owl is absolutely adorable! So inviting, warm and relaxing. Kiki is AMAZING. I went for a wax and I will definitely be going back!!! :)
