Today was my second trip to The Junction Diner and I couldn’t wait to get here today! I took a plane, a train, a ferry and a car just to get here! I dined alone the first time on a drive from Seattle to Sequim to see mom and loved it. Today I brought Mom with me and she loved it as much as I did! I was nervous because it was getting close to 3pm(closing time) and I was afraid I wouldn’t make it but I did! I tried the corned beef hash upon the recommendation of the cook. I asked a couple qualifying questions and he assured me that it was home made and NOT from a can(Alpo as he called the canned stuff). Well, Ged wasn’t kidding! this may have been the best I’ve had. EVER! Big chunks of corned beef with onions and potatoes in a hash that was more than enough to satisfy even the biggest appetite! It came with two eggs that I ordered over medium and that’s exactly how they were delivered. The toast was fresh and had plenty butter on it. Drink refills came before the glass went empty(always a good thing). Pepsi products which is sad for me but they do have Diet Dr. Pepper which is nice so I was saved! I loved my food and was so hungry that I forgot to get a Unilocal photo… fail. Mom ordered the mushroom omelet with cheddar and really liked it. They come with three eggs but mom being a light eater ordered it with only two. Now did they decrease the fillings in accordance with the number of eggs? NO! One less egg and a pot load of mushrooms and cheese. Not something I would normally order but since I’m out of town and I love to try new things I gave it a couple bites when Mom was done. WOW! I’d order this for myself. It was really good! I tried the hash browns even though I was stuffed just so I could review them and they were excellent. Crisp on th outside ind warm and done perfectly on the inside. Mom lives somewhat close(40 minutes away) but drives by once or twice month and said she’ll be back for sure and so will I! Well done Junction Diner! Well done…

You are good for your prices are reasonable your service is so much fast it’s nice that you know everybody by name and you know what some people want when they come in and I like how you only have three boost and 10 stools which makes it very tiny and nice that way it’s not very crowded restaurantpp

Best breakfast place I’ve found so far! My girlfriend and I both ordered chicken fried Steak breakfast and it brought back memories of home, for how fresh and delicious it was. I will say that her and I could of easily split just one full order, so if you have a smaller appetite Order half order

We had the homemade corn beef hash, the hashbrown delite, and the hot ham and cheese. All three dishes were fabulous! The service was very friendly!

Was here from out of town with friends and decided to go to this little hole in the wall because sometimes they can be great. Walked in and stood at the door not knowing what the norm was here with no signage to let you know. Waitress looked right at me and said nothing. Proceeded to stand a while longer when one of the regulars sitting at the bar asked if I was going to take that open booth. I said I would like to so he suggested I go grab it. Customers nicer than the waitresses. Got served shortly after at the dirty table and ordered from the dirty menu’s. Place is in serious need of a deep scrub everywhere. I ordered french toast. AWFUL!!! Worst I have ever had. Tasted like onions, was flat, dry, and barely warm. Even the syrup tasted so watered down it didn’t have much flavor. Did not finish my meal, was not asked how it was, then stood at the counter waiting to pay while waitress went around clearing dishes and fetching items for the regulars. If all that wasn’t bad enough, I went to the bathroom through the kitchen that has the swinging half doors and got blood all over my hand when I pushed it open. This place is absolutely DISGUSTING!!!

Our first visit here & we were not disappointed. Ashley was our waitress, she was very sweet & prompt. My husband ordered hashbrowns with sausage gravy & I had the french toast both were equally delicious. It was a beaitiful morning so we sat outside. This place definitely has it’s regulars & we felt welcomed. This is our new favorite breakfast place while in Poublso.

I don’t usually write reviews, but the bad ones here are ridiculous. This place is pure Americana, folks. I went there for the first time this morning, after living in the area for 13 years. I’m just sorry I didn’t go sooner. This is a greasy spoon diner of the best kind! I had gorgeous eggs benedict with hashbrowns and coffee. The tiny place was packed, with constant turn over. The plates were piled high and there was cheerful conversation all around. I’m going back for the biscuits and gravy for sure, and more than once!

The food was great! The server was very friendly. The only thing is the size of the place. Very small but I’m sure some people like that.

Just had our first breakfast at the Junction diner. It was so yummy! The portions were good and the sausage was amazing. The staff was very friendly and never let our coffee cup run dry. The coffee was as good as it gets. We had to wait to get a space as it was busy but certainly worth the wait.

It’s all from cans. Even the biscuits too. Lol I thought this would be a hearty breakfast but I had two poached eggs, two of the tiniest sausage links ever, and two very small biscuits with canned gravy and I’m ready to eat another breakfast. The scene is very small town which I enjoyed but look elsewhere for breakfast. The 305 diner was closed today or I would have been there.

The food deserves 2 stars and the service deserves 1 star! I went to the Junction Diner this morning after reading some good reviews. What a bad idea! At first look I got excited that I was discovering a hidden treasure in Poulsbo. It was just me and my nine month old baby. I walked in the front door and smiled at the staff and other patrons. They stared me down. I was grossed out by my options for high chairs. They all were plastic and had visible dirt and food on them. I grabbed one with the arm that wasn’t holding my baby. Then the waitress came over(never said hi) and said, «we have one with a lid!» She was referring to the booster seats. By lid she meant tray. I politely declined saying that we were fine with the one I picked. I silently cringed that she offered me the seat with big chunks of egg and bread on it. There are three tables. One was occupied, one had sugar and coffee spilled on it, the other had people leave just as I was arriving. The waitress bussed the table of those who had just left instead of cleaning the already clear table. So I sat at the spilled coffee table. I wiped it clean then ordered biscuits and gravy because someone here on Unilocal said they were good. The biscuits and gravy were so bad. I ate them slowly anyway. I got an egg for my baby. The waitress came to check on us once and tried to take my plate away when I had only eaten 1 out of two biscuits! I still had my fork in my hand! Whyyyy would you do that stupid waitress? I had to sit through gross construction guys in the booth next to ours show each other photos of naked women on their cell phones. And a loud misogynistic woman complain that there are more women than men in the world.(For the record there are more men in the world than women) Finally we got to leave and I cleaned the booster seat we’d used for the next sorry soul to have the misfortune to use it.

Biscuits and gravy were perfectly made. The sawmill gravy was creamy and very tasty. The biscuits were fluffy and kept a perfect chew –not soggy like some places. The eggs were cooked as I requested. We also had a veggie hash brown delight which was delicious. Friendly staff. Came out and waved us to come in as we sat parked in the lot wondering if we should go in. Somehow we beat the rush of locals who came in a few minutes after us. Old timers at the bar and a couple. People being greeted by name. Everything you want from a diner without any of the grease, grime, or attitude you deal with in other places eating on the road.

Like many people have said, this is a great«dive». Three regulars at the counter looked at us when we came in. Great mushroom burger for me and breakfast for lunch for my coworker.

When I first walked into this place, I thought, wow what a dive! Place is small, not even sure if they have a public bathroom. Wasn’t too impressed. Then the waitress/owner girl took our order and she is the sweetest most friendly woman. The prices were very reasonable as well. I looked in the kitchen and saw a 4 burner stove and someone washing dishes by hand in a sink. The place started to grow on me with its small friendly diner feel, then we got our breakfast. Ordered biscuits and gravy with eggs. It was fabulous! Plenty food and every bit the best tasting I have had anywhere. The sausage patties were from local meat market and not the precooked stuff. We will definitely be returning.

After reading all the reviews for the Junction Diner, I had to check it out. This place is exactly what everyone says it is. As I walked in, the regulars all turned and you can tell they were like«who are you?». The waitress was friendly and helpful when asked for a recommendation. I went with an scramble with hashbrowns and toast. It was PERFECT! I loved everything about the food, the décor, the atmosphere. If you live on the penisula or are just visiting, make sure you stop in!

This is a n Excellent little Diner, It feels like I walked into a «Cheers», in the form of a Diner. Everybody seemed to know everybody’s Name, Friendly !! I felt like an out-of-towner and I’ve lived around here over 20 years !! Lol Very Friendly and wholesome, small town feel. Only open for Breakfast & Lunch but well worth the stop. I’ve only had the Breakfast so far, but I will definitely be back for a few more Breakfasts and a Lunch or two. Had the Eggs Benedict w/Hashbrowns on the morning I went, It was Excellent. Keep up the Good Work Folks… And Thanks !!
