Saw Dr. Wrotslavsky regarding a foot issue. He was extremely knowledgable and made it easy for me to understand what was going on. He and his staff are very courteous and accommodating. I would definitely recommend him to others.

Approximately one year ago Dr. Wrotslavsky changed my life. My ankle would give out with the slightest change on a floor surface. I avoided hiking and running in fear of spraining an ankle and being stranded in the middle of no where. After my MRI we uncovered two torn ligaments, an old fracture from a previous injury, and arthritis at age 30. I was referred to Dr. Wrotslavsky by a friend of mine in the medical field, so I knew that a second opinion was a waste of my time. Before, during, and after my surgery the Dr. and his staff responded immediately to all my questions and concerns. I was walked thru my insurance benefits and coverage. There were no surprises. I have never had an experience like this with any of my previous physicians or surgeons. If Dr. Wrotslavsky could be my physician for EVERYTHING my life would be much easier! 365 days later I confidently find myself in 5 inch heels, hitting dips in the grass with no issues, and most importantly living an active lifestyle. I am well aware I will never run a marathon, but at least I know I can pretty much conquer everything else! Thank you for being the most caring/sincere/thoughtful surgeon and now friend a patient could ask for.

The orthotics I received worked, but cost $ 1050.00 for one single pair. I was not advised that my insurance would not cover most of this They asked for all my insurance information(primary and secondary) and I have a PPO which normally covers just about everything I have been trying to reach their billing office for over two weeks by phone and email, and consistently no response after repeated attempts. 1. They need to make patients aware up front of the anticipated significant charges, without giving the impression that their insurance will cover 2. They need to be responsive to patients Although the orthotics have helped me, I cannot recommend this office. It has been very stressful throughout this process. I have given them numerous opportunities and contact methods to reach me, no luck.

Dr. Wrotslavsky seems kind, but he told me to have extensive surgery on my ankle: second and third opionions later(from very well respected doctors) was that not only was surgery unecessary, they had strong reservations about the competence of Dr. Wrotslovsky in advising it. I’m not sure if it’s lack of skill or that he wants the $ — he made really iffy charges(e.g., charged $ 300 to pick something up at his office, he said he would charge one thing and the bill said something else). Just not a great experience. I advised my PCP not to recommend him. There are many good podiatrists out there — find one of them instead
