Community Chiropractic Center

On one bad morning I hurt my neck and had to visit Community Chiropractic Center as this is the closest to my home. This was my first visit to a chiropractor and I was not very comfortable.
Dr. Lahood met me and I must say he took the situation really seriously and delicately. He did what was necessary and asked for a x-​ray to be done. He explained my problem that two of the vertebrae slightly dislocated and causing this pain. And he also explained this gonna take few days to feel better.
I liked the way he handled my pain. When performing procedures he was extra careful and letting me know what is for what and if it may cause some more pain.
Next day I met Dr. Mark Burdette and he was also very nice to ask my problems and explain everything before performing.
Also I must mention the massage therapist on second session (I am so sorry to forget her name) but she was very careful and caring while procedure and informative about many related things.
Lastly all their staffs are very charming and with smiles always which made me feel better.
I highly recommend Community Chiropractic Center, Poway.
I wanted to give 5 stars but settling with 4 as only one thing I did not like is I needed to pay 50 bucks on every visit. But again this was out of network for my insurance.

The staff and doctors at Community Chiropractic are top notch. I called on a Saturday in severe pain. They not only saw me that same day, but stayed late to get me in the office. I went in hardly able to bend at the waist, or lean over to do any basic household tasks. When I left I was already able to move better, and by the next day the pain was gone completely. I am so grateful for their knowledge and expertise in helping patients attain better health and their willingness to help accommodate my schedule and insurance. I come into this place twice a week we drive 25 mins to come here. My patient I take care of is the one who receives the «work» but I have to say she always talks about how nice the drs are. And as I’m in the waiting room any where from 30mins to an hr. The lady at the front desk blows me away with her smile and professionalism and the way she speaks to every one I believe her name is brandi. She’s is always so sweet and such a pleasure to see and hear her the whole time I’m here. I can’t believe it. So much so I had to come write this. If any one is looking for a place that takes care of you and is there for YOU! This is the place!!!

I was having a hard time breathing, sore back and having Vertigo on top of my back being all outta wack and Dr Mark helped me so much. Cold Laser is amazing! I was so scared to go to a Chiropractor and I’m a big time believer now. He literally has changed my life and made me so much better and QUICK!!!

I woke up this morning with severe pain in my neck, I have never been to this office but a coworker told me she loves it. So I called at about 10:00am asking if there was any way they’d see me as it was an emergency. I had expected I’d have to call multiple places before anyone told me yes. But Heather at the front desk was awesome and said theyd see me at 11:00am, I also mentioned I only had 30 minutes and she said we could make it work. I got out of there at 11:20am:)

The Doctors here are very friendly so is the staff, which I find says a lot about a company. They have amazing massage deals, and the massage therapists are amazing. I leave feeling relaxed every time!

A great center for wellness! I’ve been there many times for both Chiropractic care as well as stress-​relieving massages. Dr Mark and his staff are all caring and considerate. He helped me with recent, acute injuries as well as relieving the chronic after-​effects of old injuries.
Highly recommended.

I absolutely love Dr. Mark and his staff. They’re the most wonderful office around. I use Dr. Marks office on a regular basis. I recommend them to all my family and friends! They’re the best!

The adjustments are OK I suppose, although I have had much better. (That’s why I give it 2 stars at all.) The adjustments are effective but not gentle, often enough they were very painful and sometimes the Dr. chuckled at the pain he inflicted. There was no compassion in that respect that I could detect. I found the communication style of the office in some ways vague and other ways very dictatorial. I found all the rules and regulations and the attitude of the Dr. very stressful. It was time to move on. I’m not done with chiropractic at all, but I am done with this office. Not every Dr. and patient are a match and this is one of those situations. A good stress to be rid of for me.

LOVE Dr. Mark and the whole staff! Corey is a doll, and if you think you are going to see «just another chiropractor» then think again. The office is clean, professional, and welcoming. I have never been turned away or waited more than 10 minutes to see Dr. Mark. He knows his stuff and I wouldn’t trust anyone else after I have been going here for over a year now. Prices are very reasonable, and I love that they offer other services such as massages in a true spa-​style setting. I feel fantastic-​I starting going due to vertigo issues and (knock on wood) have not had ANY issues since I first saw Dr. Mark. AMAZING!!!

I currently receive 2 chiropratic adjustments and weekly massages at Community Chiropractic. Dr. Mark worked with my insurance company even though he was considered «out of network» and set up an affordable monthly payment arrangement. The massage staff varies over the years, but they are all excellent. The receptionist sends me email alerts for my upcoming appointments so I never forget. Love them and would highly recommend.

Massage review only:
I got a massage from one of the practitioners who work here and have to say the first patient massage deal is sweet! It’s 75% off regular price which is only $ 21.25 for 1 hour massage.
Anyhow, I was greeted by the receptionist, signed some questionnaire and met the chiropractor at the clinic to go over the questionnaire. He was really nice about it and told the masseuse what we have discussed. The massage itself was less than mediocre– however… I told her to go «deeper» several times but she gently brushed me with lotion. It just didn’t do it for me. Maybe I need to try a different masseuse.
Community Chiropractic Center does have a pretty affordable «Rub Club» for those who are in need for regular massages. Only ~$ 50 for two ½ hour massages every month with 6 month commitment. Not too bad.
I would suggest that you try the first time massage deal before signing up for the Rub Club.

I have been going to Dr. Mark for 9 years now, for regular maintenance after permanent damage to my back and neck from a car accident.
He is a genuine, caring person and absolutely always has your health and best interest in mind. Over the years, he has expanded his successful practice to now include massage as well.
The staff is great and they always squeeze me in last minute, which is much appreciated with a crazy work schedule and random pain that I seem to get on a whim.
I highly recommend for maintenance, after an accident or whatever your need might be.
