I am not a donut fan. They’re too sweet. Enter the Donuts N Such Apple Fritter. It’s not too sweet, has an appley-doughy ratio that’s perfect. I can walk to this place from my house… Can you spell TROUBLE? Nice people. One star off because business hours are erratic.

I missed out on national donut day so I’m making up for it today. These donuts are amazing! I’ll have to admit I’m not exactly a donut connoisseur, I’ll grab a donut at the grocery store or at a coffee shop once in a while. These donuts are light and fluffy. Not only do they taste excellent but they don’t leave that filmy yucky after taste in your throat and mouth. Today when I went I bought a half dozen for under $ 6. I recommend the apple fritter. It’s huge and perfect.

Donuts are always fresh. Friendly employees. Some donuts aren’t fried at a high enough heat and are heavy and greasy. These donuts are light and fluffy. Always delicious. Great variety!

Im not a huge fan of sweets in the morning, but when i do get that sweet tooth this is the place to go. Some of the freshest donuts ive ever had. The price is right as well, really cheap actually. Great donut shop.

For a mom and pop shop… they are the best that I have ever had… the freshest, tastiest, and always perfect in shape. Good thing they are in Poway, because I live in Clairemont, but I work at a church every sunday in Rancho Bernardo, and that’s where they get them, and when the church doesn’t have them for some reason, I go directly to the shop.

What can I say? In taste & quality, they beat the competition hands down! I visit the shop often, because I know what to expect, GREAT donuts! If you want regular donuts, they have 1 price per dozen. If you want the fancy ones(massive bear claws, fritters, and croissants), just tell them you want a box of those. For me, some donuts leave me with a greasy after-taste and heartburn. For some reason, these don’t. I dare you to try them 1 time. What have you got to lose? ******* Donuts & Things Ownership: Please add a dark chocolate croissant, and powdered-sugared lemon-filled donuts. I’d also like to recommend all of the less expensive donuts go into one case, and the more expensive ones(super large fritters, apple-filled bear claws, and filled croissants) are put in another case(along with pricing on the display window). ******

First time ordered donuts for the my office and they were really good! Donuts were very fresh, their service was fast and very pleasant. I was not going for the price but more of a location convenience and was nicely surprised. Great donuts for a great price! Will definitely come back.

The donuts were tasty and fresh and they have a nice selection. The store was clean and had some old school décor(they have a clock that looked like it is from the 70’s or earlier). The service was ok. They did seem a little annoyed that I wanted to use my credit card and charged $ 0.50 extra for that.

There are several very close name-brand coffee and smoothie places — but this little donut shop also offers cold drinks worth trying — including a selection of blended ice coffee. Why wait in line or pay higher prices elsewhere?

Always good donuts. Nice people. The donuts are always consistent and evenly covered with glaze or other toppings. This is a great place to grab a couple of sweets with the little ones while the wifey gets groceries at Sprouts. I will be back for more!

This is the official donut provider for our corporation. That can only mean one thing, these guys must be cheap. Donuts are just fine and their pink boxes are a welcome sight in the breakroom. Donuts N Things seem to specialize in bulk orders(churches, schools, etc). It’s a bit of a joke around the office with how the donuts are packed. — Cheap Donuts

Little donut dive.. the galzed was really good. but. we had a choc. covered choc cake. and it was just weird how the chocolate broke off the donut when we ripped it apart. not so sure that was the freshest donut. There were no flies to be seen. and the place seemed clean. dunno if i would go back. maybe if i had a major craving for a glazed donut. $ 7 bux for a dozen if you pick your own. $ 6.50 if you let him pick. wtf

I usually get donuts at Sesame Donuts in CMR, but these may be the best donuts that I’ve had in the area. The donuts are so moist and soft inside, but the exterior has that slight crisp crunch that I enjoy. I usually judge donut shops by the plain glazed, and here, it was really good! The glaze tasted different from other shops’ — vanilla was more prominent. I would’ve given five stars but the truth is, I will probably still go to Sesame because it’s closer. RECOMMEND: plain glazed, chocolate bar, bavarian cream
