I am amazed that this place it’s not closed ! Major safety issues and it’s just simply disgusting.

What a DUMP! Old outdated washers, dirty torn up walls and tile, and a sink with NOHANDLES that can’t be used. Last time coming here.

Be aware, the washing machines are all set to cold even when the hot settings are on. I found this out accidentally when l added a wash cloth. The other 4 washers I was using were cold as well. This is rather dishonest and also expensive at $ 2.00 per wash. If we had known this ahead of time we could have gone elsewhere. We couldn’t find a contact phone number. Poorly maintained and dirty but the only game in East Poway.

This place is a dump. The change machine has been broken for two weeks. One of the machines ate my two bucks. The wall paper is peeling, the machines are run down and broken. Certainly no pride in ownership. Haha The worst part is that there is no phone number to call to report any of the problems.

This place is the worst! The person who owns this business is the worst! Wallpaper falling off the walls, dirt everywhere, old machines that dont work well or at all. Owner obviously doesnt care about his business or his customers. What a dump!

I had the misfortune of running into the supposed«owner» one night. I say supposed because there is no way a business owner would have such poor customer service. I believe both the laundromats on Poway road are owned by the same douch. They are both rundown and gross. I went in around midnight — there were no hours posted on the doors, and the lights were half off. I just assumed they were off to conserve energy. Anyways, I load my laundry and the«owner» comes by about a half hour later when my laundry is almost done. He starts organizing the carts and taking the quarters out of the machine. I ask if he’s getting ready to close. He turns and says«what do to think?» In a douch manner. I reply that I didn’t see any hours. He tells me where they are and tells me I need to leave after I take out my laundry again in that douch manner. I tell him I wouldn’t have come in had I seen store hours on the front door as is the custom for most business. I also comment that I wouldn’t have gone in had the place actually been closed when it was supposed to be. Anyways the guy is a douch and runs a douch operation. I wish Unilocal had douch stars. I would give him 10 douch stars.

If I could give negative stars I would. This place is absolutely disgusting and run down. Whoever runs this place should be fined or held accountable for the way this place looks. I know your here to do laundry but almost feel like you need a shower after walking in the door. Wallpaper peeling off, floors sticky, broken machines, dirty as hell! Will never come back to this place again.

I came in and was shocked! Wow! This place is seriously not kept up… but then I thought«hey maybe they spend more on the machines then the building»… okay let’s give it a try, we’ll it is as it looks! Seriously my whites came out more dingy looking! I like to use downy unstoppable(they are small crystal like balls that dissolve in the water and give a nice lasting fragrance to the clothes) when I used them in these machines it didn’t dissolve at all! Instead they got stuck to the clothes and now I have to rewash them!!! when I was here there was this women who got so upset she started yelling that this machines took her money and another took $ 5 just to get the clothes to a damp dry… I felt bad for her and understood after all my clothes weren’t getting cleaned they just got wet! Now I have to pack up wet STILL dirty clothes and wash somewhere else! at this point my clothes need more attention then before so I might end up having to wash them in my tub! I should have never washed here!!!

What a dump. The less public term would be sh&*hole. Most of the machines don’t work. The ones that do are filthy. If these places were covered by health inspection, this would be condemned. Go down the road. Way down…

This place sucks. Its more expensive than some of the other, nicer laundromats out there, but washes and drys your laundry ineffectively. You will spend like $ 10 drying a rug that their shitty washing machine never got clean. It is dirty, and run down. There is graffiti on the walls. The chairs are uncomfortable, and there isn’t a bathroom. God knows how long the candy has been in the coin machines, and the arcade only works when it wants to. If you REALLY need to get your laundry done, and you can’t find a better place(or get to a better place) then Coin-Op will do in a pinch. But if you’ve got the time, money, and resources to go somewhere else – do so. This place is shit.

THISPLACEISRUNDOWN. ANDFILTHY. If it is supposed to be where«the other half» does their laundry it isn’t cheap either(4 quarters gets 15 minutes in the dryer). Most of the top loaders work but half of the front loaders have tape over the coin slots or are missing these. There was a dirty bucket of water in the corner which smells up the entire back and the front is too dirty to sit down!

I came here to wash all my comforters. At a first glance, the place is very run down. I could not tell which commercial washer machines worked or did not work, aside from the obvious ones with tape over where you insert coins. Most of the ones the ones without tape, did not even have a light on to indicate they were in service. The biggest frustration was not knowing the cost for the commercial washers. One machine said 18 coins, the other $ 6.25, the others were not labeled. In addition, the wall paper on walls were all peeling off. On a positive note, The regular size machines appeared to be working well and were standard easy to use. The dryers are nice and big. Even though place is run down, you can tell someone is in here cleaning.

I discovered this laundromat since moving to the Poway area a few weeks ago. I’m not sure about the negative review, but based on my personal experiences of using this facility three times so far, I think we’re talking about two different laundromats. Majority of washers and dryers were working, and the general facility is brightly lit and clean(one morning I saw the owner cleaning the place). Granted the sink in the back is still missing a handle, but other than that a pleasant enough place to get your laundry done. The basic washers are two dollars per load. The general dryers are 75 cents to start for 10 minutes, and 25 cents for each additional 5 minutes of drying time. The dryers work efficiently and each load takes about 15 – 20 minutes to completely dry(be careful as the temperature can get quite hot on the highest setting and shrink your clothes). One thing I like about this location are the various dining facilities throughout the plaza. You could start your wash, grab a bite to eat, put your load in the dryer, go shopping at CVS, and come back to fold your clothes. I’ve done my wash between the hours of 10:00AM and noon, and haven’t come across any of the laundromat weirdos that sometimes plague these sorts of places(homeless, drug addicts, general nefarious looking types).

My washer recently broke so I had to spend half of my day off at the laundromat. This laundromat is in a great location and has a ton of potential with all of the stores in the plaza and all of the apartments in the same general area. This is the absolute worst dump of a laundromat I have ever seen. Since this place is in Poway, you would assume it would be half way decent but even the laundromats in the ghetto look luxurious compared to this place. Half of the washers are broken or missing buttons, there is 1970’s orange flowery wallpaper on half of the walls but it’s hanging by a thread as it is all peeled off, someone wrote on the wall«I know it’s just a dollar but I would like it back!» There is a sink, but the knobs are pulled off so nobody can use it so if a laundry tablet explodes in your hand you are S.O.L. The counters are dirty and there is a bucket of old scummy pine sol water sitting in a corner with a dirty mop in it in which the owner uses to clean the floors every night and yes, I saw him use it! One guy put a $ 20 bill in the quarter changer and did not get his money. A light turned on that said«out of service» of course after it ate the bill. A family got their clothes locked into a large machine as it locked up to wash and broke down mid wash. No phone number posted anywhere for these people to call in and report losing their money and having their clothes locked in. Next time my washer breaks I will drive anywhere to wash my clothes in order to avoid that place.
