After a horrible towing experience, pulled up after they were alreay closed. Calen stayed and helped me out so I wasn’t stranded 30 miles from home. Awesome customer service and will definitely be going back for my next tire.

We went to the Poway Express Tire and Auto yesterday to get a new tire for our Honda Odyssey. We had great service and a very friendly sales person. Such a difference having just come from the Poway Honda dealer who refused to honor our Tire Hazard Insurance
I had purchased in 2010 with the car still in force until Dec 10. They recommended we change all four tires. The other 3 were just fine per Express Tire. Poway Honda quoted us almost $ 1000 for 4 new tires. Express Tire was $ 161 for one. Poway Honda refused to look at our back sliding door which had gone off the track when it hit the door frame backing out of our narrow single car garage. «Go the the body shop» was their solution. Poway Express Tire was not only very willing to look at the door, but fixed it at NO charge! I highly recommend them and rest assured they have our future business!

Just wanted to say that once again the team at Express Tires did a fantastic job on my vehicle! I needed new tires and had a slight oil leak and Calan, my service advisor, helped me to get the perfect set of tires and a competitive price on the oil repair. The store manager Eric is always available for questions and is great at remembering his customers. When a shop like Express Tires in Poway does a great job servicing a vehicle, their is no reason to pay high prices at a dealership. Thank you Eric, Calan and the crew at Express Tires in Poway!

I’d like to start by saying, «THANK YOU» to Mike, Jay and Eric.
I had my brake pads changed and rotated a month ago. There was a bit of a factory issue at no-​fault of Express Tire. I was a little worried that I would have to get everything replaced etc. NOPE. These guys evaluated what was going on and replaced the pads (at no cost) ON THE SPOT!
They even sent a guy down the road to Toyota to grab a new set because they did not have the next upgrade in pads! Seriously! Who does that!!!
That’s customer service. I won’t go anywhere else.

I have been taking my car to this express tire for about six months now after the Evans tires down the road tried to tell me that my brakes would need to be done in the next 5k miles or so, but if I wanted to do it that day it would only cost me $ 800+ dollars for new roters and all…(so if my brakes still have life on them, why would I need to replace my roters). After a few calls to local shops all of which said a brake job would be around $ 250, I took my car to express tire. They told me my brakes had plenty of life on them. Three oil changes later I still didn’t need new brakes.
They are always very helpful and I never feel like they are just adding things on or trying to rip me off. They are quick, friendly, and I am so very thankful to have a mechanic I can finally trust.

I can’t say enough about this great group of guys! Eric, Michael, and Jay are always so helpful and knowledgeable about auto repair. My daughter’s car broke down and again I turned to Express Tire as I always do. The customer service they provide is THE BEST! They will always be completely honest and fair. They explain everything and make sure you understand what’s going on. Being a woman it’s hard to find a good mechanic that you can trust but I have been brining my car and now my daughter’s car to these guys for six years and they always exceed my expectations. Thanks for always keeping myself and my girls safe!

I have used express tire several time for both our cars. Mike, Jay & Eric give wonderful customer service. It’s nice to know that when I walk in, I can see a familiar friendly face who knows me. They do good work at a fair price. Most of the time they can match competitor pricing with in reason. I trust them and recommend them highly to anyone looking for service. Good guys!

My job requires exceptional customer service. So I expect exceptional service everywhere I go. Last week Both Mgr Eric and another mechanic Mike, went above and beyond while trying to help repair my cars window before the coming rain would have ruined the leather interior. These Guys Are Very Honest. I thought I knew a lil something about cars and went there telling them that I needed my head gasket replaced. After talking with the tech Eddie, he informed me that it was a simple $ 10 piece that needed to be replaced an saved me from over paying. I definitely will be back. Great customer service.

Jay and the guys have been taking great care of me for a few years now. They show me respect even though my oil changes have not exactly been timely. They help me to understand what’s wrong with my car and if it needs to be fixed now or if it’s something to be considered in the future.
I always walk away feeling like I have not been taken advantage of but rather been taking good care of.

So nice !! I’m a girl who knows nothing about cars … I have a 2013 fiesta that I’ve had all service done at the dealership. I got fed up with them because they do not answer their phones or return your calls in a timely manner. So I came to express tire. They were able to get me a next day appointment not only were they able to get me in they matched the dealers price because I was getting a good deal there. I just wanted to say I felt assured when leaving my car that they were going to take good care of it !!

Today I needed an oil change and a new tire so we went to Express Tire at the suggestion of a family member. We live in Ramona and the prices up here for oil changes and tires are so ridiculous that we thought we’d venture into Poway in search of better prices and customer service.
Michael was the one who helped us and was so incredibly personable. I got in and out within an hour and for under $ 100 altogether for an oil change and brand new tire. Thank you Express Tire for the great quality and service! I would definitely suggest this location to anyone and everyone!

Great experience, great pricing and best of all great service!
After a horrible experience at the Rancho Bernardo store, I decided to try the Poway store for an alignment on my Porsche Boxster.
WOW what a difference! I will never go back to the RB store again.
Jay the person who wrote up the service and Paul the alignment technician were great. Paul went beyond what was expected, explaining everything to me and taking the extra time dialing in the settings perfectly just as I wanted rather than just getting them into the factory approved spec. range.
I will recommend to my Porsche club friends that they go to Express Tire in Poway for their tire and alignment needs.
Well done Paul and Jay, 5 Star, 10 out of 10

I know some tire places have a reputation for being shady and dishonest, but the guys at Express Tire are not one of them.
Michael and his team were able to diagnose and explain a specific issue with the camber and toe of my car, which was affecting the alignment. This is something the dealership would’ve either charged an arm and a leg for or wouldn’t bother taking the time to explain the issue clearly.
I recommend this shop to any person looking for an honest and reliable place to service your car in the Poway area.

Needed some tires for my vehicle and was referred by a friend to Express tire. The service tech was polite and very knowledgable about what tires were available for my car. They took care of my car and was out in a couple of hours.
While they worked on my tires, they were able to give me some updates on the conditions of other parts of my car. I really appreciate that information, so I can start planning to avoid future problems with my car. Good job.
