Since the only reason I subtracted a star originally was because this library was so dated, I’m upgrading to 5 stars. It has been recently remodeled and is very nice now: I see some people complain about noise — but I think the mission of a library has changed over the years. We can check out books online for reading on iPads and Kindles — and a community library’s true worth(in my ever-so-not-humble opinion) is to draw together the *community* … which means there will be kids(and noise). I’ve also taken a yoga class in the community room — very pleasant environment with nice new carpet & a lot of windows. Good experience all the way around.

Staff is nice and friendly. But if you’re looking for a quiet library, this is NOT it!!! There are so many children activities and it’s the loudest library I have been in. When the children are there, it’s really a community center, not a library. Even adults talk loud and even on the phone.

Nice place, opens earlier than some of the other local libraries. Staff is so-so friendly. Resources seem plentiful. I came here for a quiet place to study, maybe not so quiet in the mornings. It’s pretty loud from the preschool activities going on. Very loud. I would recommend reserving a quiet study room if they have one, away from the youth area.

I like this library. I has a array of computer that you can use to find the books. They also have private meeting rooms to meet in so you can talk at a louder volume. The have a decent catalogue of books here. They also have DVD that can be checked out which is important now that Blockbuster has closed and Redbox only carries new releases. For anything older you need netflix which is why it is so great that they library has DVD’s. The also have audio books that are great to listen to when driving for long distances or if you spend a lot of time in the car. A meeting hall is available across the court yard and is available for free, you just need to check the schedule. What is also nice is if they don’t have a particular book it can be lent from a companion library.

This is the best public library in the area. Helpful staff, access to wide variety of books through their online request/hold system, decent e-book selection, really nice community activities for kids and adults, large safe parking lot, nice sized study rooms, open long hours and across the courtyard there is a community center. Summer programs are very popular and can fill up that square courtyard.
