GT Nails located at 4150 Macland Rd, Powder Springs, GA: Absolutely worst pedicure I’ve ever gotten. I had a long day at work and decided to treat myself. I ended up being more depressed. The shop was freezing, the water was lukewarm, and the nail technician could not understand anything I said. The quality of my pedicure and overall experience was poor.

OMG I love this nail salon! It is the best and I know that every time I go, I will get top quality mani/pedis. I get full set acrylic french tip manicure. I like them really long so they have to be done right in order to not break off. GT nails does a fantastic job; my long french tip nails are so strong and durable. Nothing can break them! And I put my nails through some hell lol, as I work on cars, build stuff, etc. Highly recommended! !

Horrible service the technicians were rude rushed me to pay after they didn’t want to fix mistakes they made. I tried to treat my girlfriend to a fun easter sunday they disrespected us both by treating us as pnumbers in a line rather than human beings. I honestly feel like my money and tip were wasted and the manager didn’t want to speak to me about the technicians behavior towards our service. Absolutely the worst experience I’ve had in my life!

My daughter and I went to the sister salon on veterans memorial parkway. We believe they are affiliated. Nail technicians appear to have reasonably good skills however we noticed that they did not sanitize the pedicure basins at closing. We asked if they did but the technician ignored or did not answer after we asked twice.(She understood English fairly well) Also we didn’t see them use the sanitation equipment that was on a shelf to sanitize equipment. Both techs put their to tools back in their personal boxes I cleaned. I may go again in a pinch but I will take alcohol and ask that they use on equipment before doing my nails. I may give a call to health department to alert them as well.

Okay. I said I would give this place another shot, and, I did but it still falls short. I have to agree with another reviewer who mentioned that this place is clean and I’ve never had to wait more than a few minutes to be serviced. However, this nail salon falls short of a few things. I normally get the gel nails, which is $ 20. They have the audacity to charge an additional $ 10 for a manicure. What the #@*! I have never been to a nail salon that charges separately for a manicure. Never. My expectation as a normal part of the service at any nail salon is to have my nails cut, cleaned, and cuticles removed. Isn’t yours? Well not here. This may be the reason why my gel nails don’t last longer than one week when I come here. At any other salon my gel nails last for two weeks easily. During my recent visit, I noticed a small amount of dirt underneath my nails. I waited to see if my manicurist would remove the dirt with a file after she buffed them but she did not. When I asked her to(remove the dirt) she told me that my nails would come clean after I washed my hands. What the #@*! The final straw — after my nails were completely dry from the gel I was told to wash my hands. I came back to the station expecting my manicurist to lotion my hands. I thought this was an oversight after my first visit but it is obvious that these folks have no intention of lotioning your hands after a manicure. Instead, similar to the first visit, my manicurist was already at the register waiting to cash out my transaction. When I asked for the lotion, my manicurist squirted the lotion on the back of one hand and when I extended my hands to her with the expectation that she would massage the lotion into my hands she told me «no, you do.» What the #@*! Somebody please tell these people that after any hand wash and manicure in a nail salon(especially during the winter months), that a normal part of the service is to have your hands lotioned. What planet are these people from? Unbelievable! Because this place is conveniently located near where I reside(I recently moved to this area), I told myself I would make a third attempt to give them a shot. But I don’t think so. I appreciate the luxury of going to a nail salon that provides a manicure and lotion as part of the normal service of getting a manicure. Although it’s a small thing, in this instance, I can surely say that it’s the little things that count.

I refuse to give up. Went here for basic french pedicure. Water was tepid — even when I asked her to make it warmer twice. Leg massage was half-@ssed. And massage chair’s back cushioning was non-existent — so that function was too painful to use(and the tech did warn me about that — so — why put me in this chair?) No scrub, no hot towels. I found out later — that this comes with ‘deluxe’ pedicure. Lol. But it was VERY quiet, so I was able to read in peace. Oh. .. and they are open late — until 8pm. I would go here for a polish — but nothing else.
