Hi I made a reservation through Unilocal for last Saturday. My friend and I went to the restaurant only to find a sign Closed for business. Hugh disappointment. Does not deserve any stars.

Great tasting food and very flavorful. Excellent customer service. The yams are delicious and not to sweet. the collards are just right and taste fresh with a little kick of spice added to it. The peach cobbler is off the chain. Be sure to save room for it. For it to be a Buffett Second Plate added a twist. You go to the buffet station and they serve you nice 3oz portions. I like this because now you don’t have everyone touching the bar and the serving spoons. I’m not a big fan of Buffett but this one I will come back and visit again.

The family and I eat here on Sundays. Food and service is grade A. I love how the food is prepared and the spices used. Good job guys.

The food was great! The sweet tea was really good. The inside was small but nice. Staff was friendly and prompt. The price was great! You gonna pay at least $ 25.00 for two, but well worth if for a buffet. Will be going again soon!

Great food. Good old fashion grandma type southern cooking. Best fried chicken I’ve had in a long time. Ate Sunday brunch. It is all you can eat buffet the only wrinkle is you get your first plate full then they know you are so full already and don’t want to get up they will get what you want for your next plate and bring it to you. Great service and homemade deserts too. A little pricey but I don’t mind paying for great food and service. You will enjoy this place also

It’s unfortunate that the second time failed for me at the second plate Buffett. I was searching online for vegetarian places in Powder Springs, a limited amount of options in this hick town(surprise). I came across this place via Unilocal,I did not know there were other Unilocalers in Powder Springs! The first time was great, came in was directed, got my food and left. The food is really good as well and I appreciate the fact of how the buffet works, you go through the line and they serve you, it’s kinda like the meat section of Golden Carroll. With that being said and having liked everything I took my dad up here to visit and boy do I regret it. Honestly I feel a little embarrassed. First off while the place was open I thought it was closed because the door was latched, or stuck, or whatever, but basically I had to forcibly push the door open just to get in. I thought I broke in when I did. What joy it was for my to stand there for five minutes at the front with no one there before I finally just said f it and seated myself, but wait for it, it gets better. Now that I have taken it upon myself to seat myself and my dad we now sit at the table for 5 minutes with absolutely no servers coming by or acknowledging our existence. Kid you not, I called the business inside the business just to get someone to come over to the table. Say what?! Oh no, not me. I will not be back, and here’s the wonderful thing about my experience, I could have just left and not paid. No, really, the waiter just put our check on the table(even though we were not done) and said we could pay at the front. When we got to the front, surprise surprise, no one was there! Tip what? Tip no. Sorry Unilocalers, but unless you are getting a to go box, stay away, stay away, not that you would get any help anyways.

Didn’t know this was here. Fresh homemade vegetables, seasoned very well, nice selection, quite, with a homey feel. Better than Golden Carroll, will be back.

The décor was done very nice with a modern country theme. I liked the exposed brick. I usually don’t do buffets but this was different. The buffet items are served by the staff with gloves. After you go up to the buffet the first time and select your items the server will take your order at your table. The price did include a beverage and dessert. The vegetables was seasoned perfect just the right amount of spice and flavor. The vegetables are prepared without using meat, but still had flavor and spice. I would highly recommend this restaurant to friends.

Very delicious food and the atmosphere welcoming. The staff was extra attentive. I couldn’t ask for more from a restaurant. I’ll definitely be back and I highly recommend this place!

Food was palatable albeit over salted, vegetables were the best part great selection. Disappointed that the menu says meatloaf would be there and it wasn’t. Key lime desert was good for a small portion. Over priced at $ 10.95 but it’s probably due to the great powder springs historic location. Outdoor seating available but I sat inside. Staff were friendly. Would visit again if looking for a quick lunch but I won’t be a regular.

Some really good country/soul food in Historic Powder Springs. This isn’t your typical buffet or meat and 3 either. Serving line has about 3 meats and a whole plethora of vegetables. The fried chicken, mac and cheese, fresh greens, pinto beans, black eyed peas were all family reunion good. The banana pudding is well prepared old fashioned banana pudding with a great little twist. If you are just looking to strap on the feed bag, you might as well stay with your buddy at the Golden Corral. If you are wanting food prepared so well they don’t have salt and pepper shakers on the table(but will bring you some, but I can’t image why you would want it), let this engaged bunch of people enjoying what they are doing feed you well.

Food was fantastic! Reminded me more of a meat and three place rather than a typical buffet. If southern comfort food is what you are looking for then check out Second Plate. The meatloaf was good and the veggies I tried were great! I also had the banana bread pudding and it was delicious! The service was great and everyone was friendly and helpful. We will go back. Support local business!

Nice little home style feel to this Buffett. It’s not the usual help yourself buffet. It’s a little different but not bad. The first time thru they serve you while you choose what entrée you want then after that the server at you table brings you what you request. The food was delicious. Cooked how I like. Real good southern cooking. Seasoned just right. The staff is very friendly. The buffet also include a drink and a choice of about 7 or do desserts. I enjoyed my visit and will definitely be back.

OMG!!! Best banana pudding around. Had yummy greens, delicious mac n cheese, flavorful rice and cheese casserole, smothered chicken and a waffle with strawberries and whip cream. The service was great as well. You make ypur first plate and then just let the server know what you want after that. I will definitely go back.

I went there hoping for a traditional style buffet were you would serve yourself and take as little or as much as you wanted. It is a buffet but you are attended to by a server behind a clear window. They were out of pork chops the day that I went but the tenderloin pork was somewhat tasty. I guess I can’t blame the chef because overly salted, sugary food is what most people want when they eat a traditional southern meal. Why can’t these restaurants leave the seasoning up to the customer when it comes to food needing salt, sugar or pepper. Also to add to the misery, the roof was slightly leaking water on my arm while I was eating. Needless to say I will not be going back.

Food and service are very good. Better quality than a typical buffet. Try the key lime cake.

Newly opened. Love it! There is a Groupon if you act quickly. Clean, quiet, and food? The best in my opinion! Fresh and from scratch. Nothing appeared to be out of a can. Best mac /cheese and greens around! Meatloaf was wonderful. Met Silvester, he was friendly and tried to be helpful in every way. Going again tonight. Opened Wednesday thru Sunday. My only concern is, I feel he will need to expand soon and will move out of Powder Springs for a larger location.
