When I went my first real bridal expo, I wasn’t sure what to expect. Frankly, I was overwhelmed. Then, like a lighthouse on the coast, Amitai called me over and we struck up a conversation. We talked about how our planning was going, what kind of things we liked, our wedding«style,» what I did for a living and on. When he heard I was both a full-time nurse and a full-time student he immediately offered me a steep discount on his services stating that he knew all to well what it was like to do so much and try to plan a wedding as he and his wife had gone through something similar. That kindness and discount, paired with a free engagement session and his stunning photographs on his website, are what won John C. and I over. We recently had our engagement session done in Goodale Park and found it to be much more fun than we anticipated. Amitai and Melanie could tell we were kinda nervous and that John hadn’t really ever had portraits of any kind done before and worked to make us comfortable and to get us laughing. Since we are a little be more eclectic and goofy in our tastes, they made sure that our personalities came through in some seriously fun photos by that brightly colored building on Poplar(you know the one). If our wedding photographs turn out half as well, we will definitely be pleased.
