The food here is average at best and they allow indoor smoking so it’s out for me. This is like the 6th restaurant at this location and they all fail for the same reason, average food and an unhealthy atmosphere.

Looking to try a new, local place for lunch my wife and I found The Local PVA on Unilocal.Very glad we tried it out! Very well thought out, The Local PVA is part bar, part restaurant — and, at least from this first visit, does a fine job with both. We chose the pleasant, open dining area over the bar area because we preferred to go smoke-free(there is a door between the two areas). We got a chance to ask some questions of our excellent waitress Angel — and it sounds like the owner and kitchen staff have some really good experience. The menu has apparently been updated recently and gave us plenty to choose from — we can recommend both the crab cakes as well as the Crab Dip Burger. As my wife put it «we may just have found our new local Go To spot.»
