My father was seen at Kokopelli Eye Institute for his cataract surgery, He is a great and caring Doctor as well as his staff they all took their time with him, they explained everything and made him feel comfortable, We highly recommend Kokopelli Eye Institute.

Although I had no problem with my exam, everything else about this was not good. First I make our appointment for eye exam and glasses, ask if they except our vsp insurance gave them all info over phone. For both my husband and myself. we went to sun city west because of our schedule. They are only here 2 days a week and the doctor got in an accident, had to wait an additional week. After our eye exam we are told that this office doesn’t accept our insurance for the glasses. No one was there anyway The optician went home early. No this wasn’t told before. We were told we could go to the surprise office for our glasses. and we did. after returning home I realized that we paid for transitional glasses but were never asked what color we the next afternoon I look at the many sheets of paper work we have and not 1 has a name or phone number for the offices that we visited. so I call the Prescott office and why I have the girl who took my appointment on the phone I let her know I would have like to have known that the office we went to didn’t take our insurance for our glasses. she says she doesn’t know which offices do or do not. «your insurance paid for the eye exam.». But we would have made our appointment at Surprise for both the exam and glasses if we would have known ahead of time. Why spend the entire day going from 1 office to the other. So I ask for the number to Surprise office to call about the color of my glasses. She says all calls are routed through this office and she will transfer me. I say ok so all calls are routed through this office, you take all my information, you make the appointment, isn’t it also your job to know what offices accept VSP insurance exams and for eye glasses and which ones do not.?! She hangs up on me… OMG you have got to be kidding… now I have to call back. So I do and I just ask to direct my call to Surprise office. she transfers me .Now its mid afternoon I ask the optician about the color of the lenses that we never chose, and she says oh she was just getting those ready to send out and would have called about the color.(yeah right) she apologizes. So I ask her for the name of the person to call to let them know how I am disgusted with the unprofessional way I was treated by the person who took my call at Prescott office. She says I have to call the same number to speak to the person in charge. I hope Laura reads reviews so she can see that the people that interact with their clients are rude and not knowledgeable in the policies of the eye care services, and causing people not to return in the future. We wont go there again. now I started this process on October 20th today is December 1 we still have no glasses I have asked for a refund, and the manager still hasn’t returned my calls.

Dr. Ham, Dr. Becker, and Dr. Kunimoto are the best! They saved my mom’s eyesight when other doctors said nothing could be done.

Went to pick up glasses and it took the staff almost 10 minutes to just acknowledge that we were there. The person who eventually took care of us didn’t seem to know what she was doing. They had to employees stationed in the same corner, with only one chair. Not very professional looking. I heard patients complaining about being there for anywhere from an hour to 3 hours, and some of those were patients coming out of the patient rooms, not just the waiting room. I will not be returning to this business again.

I would have said no stars if that were an option. Everything is done by the assistants, who are not very professional. When the doctor finally came in, she did not wear a name tag or introduce herself, which meant I didn’t know who was talking to me(they hadn’t given me back my contacts). They were 60 minutes late for my first appointment and 50 minutes late for my second. I would never go back.
