I think if the pizza had been fresh, it would have been OK. But I came near closing, got a slice that tasted like cardboard and probably had been baked hours ago. They shouldn’t sell them if they’ve been out that long. Garlic bread sticks were fresh, but tasted like they just sprinkled garlic salt on them. Nothing special. People behind counter were very nice. Wished I had ordered a sandwich or something else.

I did end up going back here a while back and I still didn’t like the pizza. They do have fairly good sandwiches though.

I have been told to come here a few times. Tonight we gave it a shot. It’s at a gas station but trust me it’s a nice place. They had specials posted and peanuts on the tables to enjoy. We both got the broke boy sub. My sister literally said«mark this day, as this is the day I had the best sandwich of my life». The sub was incredible, make sure you don’t take anything off of the sub. It’s the combo of everything that makes it so delicious. I got a 12″ sub, q slice of pizza and by bill was less than $ 15, cheaper and better than fast food! I will definitely be back!

I’m so impressed with the quality of the food. The best sub sandwiches in the STATE. So lucky to have a place like this near our home! Gotta try the bad boy sub my favorite. You can’t go wrong with the pizza either.

Pizza was good! Besides the fact I ordered a large and it looked like a med. ordered a garden salad and that was a joke! Lettuce and three cherry tomatoes? Wtf is that? I would be embarrassed to serve that thing at my home! I cut my own veggies and put it in my salad much better!

We’ve been in the Prescott/Prescott Valley area for about 4 months now, and we’re noticing a trend in local eateries… when the food just isn’t anything special, there seems to be some compensation going on(i.e. Make the portion BIGGER, and suddenly you’re delivering good product!). It goes without saying, but more of a bad thing just isn’t a thrilling prospect… And that’s what we experienced at The Pizza Place. The pie came out slathered in a heavy amount of cheese, and was darn near gigantic! The problem was… it just wasn’t tasty in any way, shape, or form. In our books, a pizza lives and dies by its sauce: if it’s flavorful and spread generously, you’re on your way to a delicious pizza… slap on a generic can sauce in skimpy portions, and you’re just about sunk. This pizza falls into the latter category… pretty dry and devoid of taste. I also ordered a cold turkey sandwich. This wasn’t bad at all, but looks exactly like something you would make in your own kitchen… just at 3x the price. Certainly nothing special you’d want to come back for. Being a mini-mart, they have a great soda fountain and free refills… often a sure way into my heart, being a devout soda drinker! But they also screwed up when running my debit card, which very nearly caused a problem with my bank. Don’t know if this was operator error or what, but they waited days to enter the tip, then removed the charge entirely, then re-entered it… nearly causing me to overdraw my account in the interim. Again, whether this was standard procedure or just operator error… not sure. But it enhanced our negative experience with The Pizza Place. If you’re looking for a large pizza for a decent price, and you’re not too picky… this may be your place. But we just aren’t impressed when a food item’s size is the only positive thing it has going for it.

Pizza is good, can’t say I’ve had better in Prescott Valley, sandwiches are a little pricey but worth it when made right. The help seems to switch often at Pizza Place, so that’s when the sandwiches can be off. They are also open for breakfast, so I ordered a bacon breakfast stromboli and found it to be pretty good. The regular strombolis are still better. If you are looking to get in and out, I do suggest you call ahead. The best part of Pizza Place for some maybe that they deliver anything from Robert’s Marketplace. Anything you want, a gallon of milk or a bottle of Patron with fresh limes to go with it.
