Wait staff and wine are excellent. The reasons I give three stars. First, don’t say you are open until 10 when you really close at nine. Second, don’t charge the prices you charge if the skimpy salad obviously comes out of a bag. Also, pick out the bad pieces before you serve it.

Honestly, I did a beer tour and bar hop with some people awhile ago, and I was so drunk by the time I made it into this place, I honestly don’t remember it. So hey here’s 4 stars because drunk me checked in on Unilocal to perhaps write a positive review! I’m sure your beer was delicious.

Big disappointment despite hotel recommendation. Overpriced & food not good. Service overwhelmed by largish group. Crossed off our list and will not return.

This was my first time here and I loved it. They offer a great selection of wines. The pizza was crispy and delicious(we ordered the Popeye). The Greek salad was our started and I shared it with my friend. It was huge and definitely enough to share. We are thinking about coming back here again tonight.

One of Prescott’s better restaurants. They have excellent menu selections, and not just pizza. We have had good service and very good food.

I am always amazed at the reviews for all restaurants, this one included. We are all quick to hide behind the Internet and bash someone’s hard work. If you don’t like the food, tell us why without describing the owner’s haircut. If you love the food, that’s great, but why did you love it. Small town ma & pop restaurants can’t afford to accommodate every tiny silly request and when we don’t get it, we cry about it on the Internet. Boo hoo. As for the Bin, we continue to love it. Service is great. The food is delicious – we found our steaks cooked and seasoned perfectly. Our kids pizza was equally great. The wine selection was wonderful. Yes, they were out of our first selection, but they recommended a second and it was very good. Please fine here – you won’t be disappointed!

Well exactly 1 year later on Aker Nite, $ 800 dollars later for 8 people, and out of many of the wines listed, menu items featured, extremely poor concern and/or response from the owner/manager my review is less favorable than a year ago. This place is the most horrible dining experience in Prescott! And we have been to all of the many wonderful places in town. This one is the worst! Over cooked food to the stage of rubber, ice cold potatoes, 4 clams on the 1 appetizer left that was available, etc etc. Restaurants can have a bad night but the extreme lack of concern on the part of the owner/manager with such a large tab is inexcusable! The only bright spot of the evening was our waiter. Far to talented at his craft to work in such a poorly run place. Horrible, horrible, horrible!!! If there were negative stars this place would be given them by all in our party of 8!

Well… I hate writing bad reviews given that a restaurant can always have a bad night. But not the case here especially with the owners lack of concern. And thus why I write this review. This is our second time here on an Aker Night weekend and the experience started the same but ended worse. Our server was the same server as last year but he was great so no reflection on him. Last year, we came in with a group of 5. Was immediately impressed with the wine list. Ordered a 2007 cab… 5 minutes later«sorry we do not have it». This process was repeated 4 different times until we found a bottle that they did have. This year, based on my recommendation, we went with some of the same people but the group size was larger, 8 people. We had no reservation. We were seated immediately in the large private room, which we appreciated. Though, we quickly learned that the menu was limited due to specifically being sat in the private room. One individual wanted a pizza and could not order it. Ok, so we just dealt with it. I specifically ordered the Veal($ 33). Five minutes later… «Sorry we are out of it». Five minutes later«sorry we can only give you one order of the clams because we are out». Ok, we dealt with this one also. We order two bottles of $ 75 Pinot… «Sorry we only have one bottle». Ok, «give us the $ 75 cab». «Please give us another bottle»… «Sorry we have no more». Comical at best. Then the food came. Everyone who ordered the duo(scallops and shrimps) received an over cooked, rubbery dish with a cold twice baked potato. The dishes were inedible. One individual received their dish 10 minutes after everyone else. By now, I had asked to speak to the owner twice… No where to be seen. Finally, 30 minutes later she shows up with a very nice bottle of wine. I give her credit for bringing the bottle. So why write this review… The owners attitude was less than cordial. She never apologized and acted as if we were bothering her. She could not leave us fast enough. She never made an effort to take the inedible items of the bill. Her final parting words with a less than cordial/apologetic attitude… «does this make it fine, it is just me and my husband and our margins are small». Well no… Your responsibility as an owner is to manage a restaurant effectively while providing a pleasant experience. There is no reason you cannot accomplish this when you have customers that are willing to pay. But no one is willing to pay for a poor experience. As the rest of my friends said«that was a total expensive bust». We had to stop by another restaurant so no one would go to sleep hungry. Sadly to say… We will never go back there nor recommend this place. Sincerely, Hungry in Prescott

Great service. Terrific wine list. I only had the Baked Onion Soup but it was fabulous. This is a well established Prescott restaurant. A local favorite. Has a very warm and inviting atmosphere. Prices are reasonable for a wine bar restaurant. My short time in Prescott have had mixed dining experiences. From fantastic to downright awful. Bin 239 was a very pleasant surprise. This is a place I will definitely frequent if just for a glass of wine and bowl of soup. I would say to the people who gave it only 3 stars or below to try it again.

What happened to this place? My wife and I have come here for years when we visit and always loved it. BUT, the quality of the food has definitely dipped very badly. The bruschetta used to be our favorite here but, wow, it is really not good here anymore. The hamburger was not worth $ 14(I only got this to make my 9 year old happy), the naked Brie came out only hardly warm, and even after we asked to have it heated up, it was still not very gooey like it used to be. The beer and wine was good, but that’s about all the good I can say about this trip. Unfortunately, we will not be coming back. The dishes have changed for the worse here. Darn.

They post that they are open to 10 yet when we arrived at 830pm hastily seated us and displayed the closed sign quickly after. The wine list and menu appear delicious however when the food arrived it was bland and uneventful. Wine was alright. The milbrant cab opened up decently. Service here was… meh. Over priced for what we had. Seafood duo of 3 scallops and three shrimp was over saturated in butter with not enough garlic or seasoning to compensate and the side was? Like frozen hashbrowns in some sort of half way hated soft cheese in a soufflé dish. Salad was field greens with a sprinkle of feta. Pork chop was bland the side was mushy apples and literally yellow mustard. Bill was pushing $ 120. Pretentious crap. Talking advantage of there not being much variety in Prescott

Definitely a mixed experience, i’m not a wine drinker so I won’t comment on that part of the restaurant, I probably wouldn’t be able to tell the difference between a $ 100 bottle of wine or a $ 5 boxed wine, but a friend ordered a glass and she seemed to like it. We both ordered the onion soup as an appetizer and it was delicious, my friend decided on the salmon with a salad and a small dish of scalloped potatoes, the fish was cooked perfectly and tasty. I ordered the Popeye personal pizza with spinach, caramelized onion and chicken apple sausage and it was rather disappointing, what I got was a bland, sauceless cheese pizza with barely detectable slivers of onion and a few shreds of spinach topped by a few slices of bland sausage. One of my biggest gripe was the rather cramped seating plus the timing of food coming to a small 2ft. X 2ft. or so table. Literally a couple of minutes after we got our soup appetizers the main dishes arrived, which almost made it impossible to eat our food without having to fear knocking something of the small and now cramped table. Consider two bowls of soup, an entrée plate of salmon, two glasses of water, two other drinks on a two ft by two ft table and a 12 inch pizza plate on a stand towering over that… Our server albeit being new at the job and visibly nervous, which is understandable, was very attentive and patient as we took a bit to decide on what to order. Some items on the menu seemed grossly overpriced though,$ 35 for a pork chop with some cauliflower, that chop better be consisting of half a pig… I probably will return eventually to give it a second try.

Excellent service here for a late night meal. It seems like most other restaurants in this town close at 8pm. I had a great Italian Pinot Grigio suggested by the knowledgable server, Kyle, the baked French onion soup and the pear and walnut salad. I felt very comfortable dining here alone. The bar staff seemed very friendly and approachable. This seems like a great place to pop in next time, sit at the bar, and try a sampling of their bruchetta selections. The cozy looking sofa, coffee table and fireplace groupings would make this a great place to chat with a group of friends or with a date.

Our first visit and dinner was good, seemed like fresh, quality ingredients. Few options for vegetarians, other than salad. So I had salad. Husband had seafood. Lighting was awkward — I had to keep leaning sideways to unblock the canned light above in order to see my food. Service was rushed and manic. I am new to Prescott and find that poor service is the norm.

This place is wonderful! Great food! Great wine! Great service! Have been here a couple times and tried a bit of everything… Pizza! Yum! Prosciutto brie sandwich! Delish! Bruschetta! Get it! Bread pudding! Must have even if you can’t fit it in! And the sangria is amazing! Do you need anything else! Get here… Lovely staff and owners!

Some of the party ordered apps and some not. They brought the entrees for those who skipped apps at the same time as apps. Not good execution. The bruschetta was awful. The bread was not toasted, the cheese just put on top of it with no olive oil or seasoning and topped with 3 large slices of tasteless apples. Really bad. Three of us had steaks. They were not seasoned. Bason wrapped tenderloin was wrapped with almost raw bacon. If you don’t know how to cook the bacon wrapped on meet, don’t serve it. The staff needs to learn how to bus tables. The bus boy literally reached in front of the person next to me with his arm almost in her face to take my plate. I had to tell him to come between us to take my plate. This should be common sense. Very disappointed.

Our experience this past holiday weekend was enormously disappointing. While I completely understand the impact a holiday and graduation may have on wait times when it comes to being seated, most restaurants have strategies to anticipate and prepare for busier weekends — inventory, staffing, food prep, etc. Not so much from what I gather in many other reviews. I sincerely hope the owners take this common feedback constructively to better the establishment. As a group of 3, we passed up the wait for a table and opted for comfy couches. Cute ambience, though the TV at the bar didn’t seem to quite fit with the general atmosphere. Our waitress went through the unchanging specials and advised us of a great bottle deal for the night — $ 33, sounded lovely! But they were out. By 6:10 pm? Sounds like they need a backup special if they’re not going to have enough on hand to actually sell throughout the evening. While we went with the next best bottle recommendation — a Washington cab — we didn’t enjoy it very much, a disappointing $ 40. The wine was also way too warm. To me, if you’re going to be a self-proclaimed wine bar, you should invest in a dual-temperature cooling system for both red and white. Onto the food. Snails as an app, pizza for the hubs, ribeye for mom and lobster ravioli for me — 2 specials. Famished, we began with the escargot, which were tasteless. The bread was actually ok, but only 3 slices came with the order. When the bus boy came by to clear the plate, we asked if we could actually just get some more bread to sop up the olive oil dregs. He left, no bread ever came. Our waitress returned to give us the unfortunate message that they were now out of the lobster ravioli, 30 – 40 minutes after our food order had been placed. So now it’s maybe 7:00pm, and out of another special. I settled for a mediterranean salad with salmon. She confirmed no bread order was submitted — oh well. The pizza was mediocre, the ribeye was gigantic, nothing memorable to report. My salad came with the wrong toppings, but she was nice enough to comp us for that. Our waitress was in fact the only saving grace throughout the evening — she was attentive, friendly and extremely empathetic with our experience. We felt bad that she had to apologize for so much going wrong, as none of it was her fault. But we dropped some serious mula for such a let-down. If you’re coming from a big city and have any idea what an actual wine bar is, you may want to opt for another dining choice in the area.

Recent experience not a good one. We have been going to Bin 239 for several years. We normally have one of the«specials» which always includes rib eye steak and lobster ravioli. They must have been having some trouble in the kitchen. Plates were coming out slow and cold, including my rib eye which was more rare than medium rare. In contrast, my wife’s ravioli was hot. Large party at adjoining table had the same problem with cool food. The practice at Bin 239 is to put the salad on the same plate as the entrée. As the plates waited for the meat to arrive the salad got warm and wilted. A suggestion: put the salad on a separate plate and bring it out before the entrée. The salad is good — spring greens with feta cheese and candied nuts — but too little dressing. Had to ask for more dressing. To top it off, at the end of the meal a cook slipped in the kitchen and showered us with dressing of some sort. I got the brunt of it. Fortunately I was wearing an old shirt. No one came over until I brought it to the owner’s attention. She did a little investigation. She asked what did we want her to do about it. The first thing that should have been said was«sorry» and the second thing was to take responsibility and fix it yourself. I didn’t really care too much — old shirt and all — wife is saying her coat needs to go to dry cleaners. This situation could have been handled better. Much room for improvement in a number of areas. Will we go back? Probably, just not anytime soon.

This restaurant has the best food I’ve had in Prescott since moving here almost a year ago — and I’m a definite«foodie!» Dinner pricing is on the high side, but my dinner partner and I split everything so we could enjoy more dishes. They graciously accommodated us. After reading other reviews, we made sure to leave room for their unbelievably scrumptious bread pudding. Now I dream about it. Seriously. I’ll be going back soon!
