our favorite spot in town. pricing is reasonable(so refreshing for an overpriced town) and the food is consistently great. Their panang, red curry(with pineapple) and pad wu sen(sp?) and other dishes are really super tasty. their thai soup is huge and massively filling(and i eat a LOT of food). their pad thai is one of their weakest dishes, and their tom ka gai soup is good but not great. add to that a super neighborly(as in insider scoop) ambiance with the lovely women(three) welcoming you like family… and its our favorite spot in town. far better than the other thai options we feel… far cheaper(and better) that Tara Thai($ 10 instead of $ 14 — $ 16) but the ambiance and Tom Ka soup is far better at Tara than at Dee Thai. Thai House is friendly and nice, food is pretty good but the ambiance is florescent and noisy compared to Dee Thai, just can’t keep up we feel. Typhoon is fun but no place to eat. Dee Thai feels like eating at a friend’s house or at a local spot where everyone knows one another… clearly the hip and young crowd have discovered and prefers this thai to all others in town.(by the way, we are all vegetarian… tofu is always fresh and well prepared. they also respect spice levels from mild to hot.)

I stumbled upon this tiny Asian restaurant by accident. I love Thai food, so it was a pleasant surprise. Very friendly people here with some basic recipes. I tried one of their noodle dishes which was just average as we’re their spring rolls. Not much to this food, meaning no taste I’m accustomed to. Some people swear by it, but I’m not impressed. I mean the egg rolls were probably the worst I’ve ever eaten. Honestly I ate maybe 25% of the food, then asked for a take out box. When I left I walked to the nearest garbage can.

Just tried Dee’s for the first time today and I’m thrilled to have finally found my go-to neighborhood Thai place here in Prescott. I ordered Panang Curry to take out and it was excellent!

Simple menu, decent food. It didn’t blow my socks off, and my «Very very spicy» was moderately spicy for someone who really loves hot Thai food — but it was pretty good if you’re craving some Red Curry. :-)

Terrible food. Chicken was spoiled, mushy gross fried rice. My girlfriends food was gross also green curry chicken. Meat was rainbow colored and taste like green garbage water. Everything taste like rotten food. I will never go back

Don’t go here. It’s not Thai. It’s a version the Thai people in the kitchen think we know as Thai. The plate my husband got(spicy noodle) and the plate I got(pad see you) were exactly the same except for he had bell pepper and I had snow peas. Ugh! Also, they don’t have any condiments on the table for you… no sriracha, soy sauce, chili oil, NOTHING. So when I asked for it she seemed bothered. She brought me the bottle of sriracha from the kitchen. Then I asked for soy sauce because I had to add flavor to my flavorless noodles. So she took 5 minutes to get it and bring it back. What she brought back was one of those yellow mustard bottles labeled soy sauce with a label maker and inside it was less than a ¼ cup of diluted soy sauce. Of course, I didn’t use it. I squirted it on an empty plate to check it out. I was grossed out… I guess because it was a weird bottle and diluted. Don’t go here. It’s not good. And it’s a crummy little hole in the wall… really crummy!

I doubt the negative reviews since I’ve been going to this place since it opened. About once every week or two. I get the spring rolls EVErY time and have yet to have them be anything but hot(in a good way, temperature wise) all the way through. The glass noodles are slightly chewy but I’ve never had a glass noodle that wasn’t. I switch around between the yellow curry chicken, beef dry noodle soup, and pad thai chicken. The curry is a bit soupy, but I love their curry sauce so drinking down the last of my «soup» is my favorite part of it. If you don’t like the amount of sauce, just scoop your meat and veggies and some sauce onto your rice plate and leave extra sauce. Big whoop. The soup is great and the pad Thai is wonderful. I’ve yet to have a single bad experience at Dee Thai. The food is always great as is the service.

Best Thai food I have had. We had the fresh rolls with the best peanut sauce(ok, and some sirracha) pad Thai, and pad soup with a fried egg. Everything was great. It wasn’t greasy or old at all. The owners were so nice and thoughtful.

A co-worker pointed me to this place, I tried it and have been back many times since! Great Thai food! A nice variety and they can make it as mild or spicy as you wish! Once you’ve been here, you’ll be coming back for more too! Not much seating, but I’ve always been able to sit when I arrive — and take out is great too!

Major MEH on this place. I feel duped by the other reviewers here. I had to twist my husbands arm to come here and it was not good. Maybe it’s because I’m used to good Thai. I don’t know. We ordered the spring rolls and they came out frozen in the middle. Worst I’ve ever had. The sweet and sour chicken I ordered for my 3 year old was similar to a tomato sauce of some sort. I had the yellow curry and there was just nothing«good» about it. Could have been store bought. The Green Tea was kroger brand green tea. The one thing that was good was the Thai Ice Tea… they have that down. We won’t be going back. Portions were small compared to any other Thai place in Phoenix I’ve been to and the prices didn’t reflect that…

Dee Thai has really delicious food. The vegetables are cooked perfectly, always crisp and flavorful, never overdone. The chicken breast meat is trimmed thoroughly, and cut into thin slices, not attached to unappealing connective tissue or other ick. The Thai spices are full flavor, without ever being overpowering. Spicy is specified by numbers one through four; 3 will get you a subtle but delightful heat, 4 is closer to the standard medium. I return to Dee Thai when I want something fresh and healthy, but I also want it to be deliciously satisfying. The service is sweet and uncomplicated, despite the language barrier. The server/owner is so kind and unhurried, and it leads to a very relaxed atmosphere. I love this place for an intimate lunch with my guy.

Great fast Thai food. Had the Green curry and my wife had the Tom Kar soup. Both were awesome. And the fresh rolls were just that… fresh and crisp and delicious. We will be back.

Have eaten here multiple times at both lunch and dinner and they are super nice folks and their service is true service. You really feel valued as a customer. It’s a small little place but their hearts are oh so big. It’s in the same strip mall as ‘The Local’ ! This Thai food is pretty good. I’ve had the curries, the noodles, the drinks, the desserts, and all were cooked satisfactorily, properly, and well. I recommend this place as quite acceptable !

Not only best Thai food in Prescott, one of the best meals in town. Pad Thai has a thousand faces here and abroad, Dee Thai’s version is in our top percentile. They also have mastered tofu and spring roll. We told Akada we liked our fresh roll with shrimp and she was happy to add it for $ 1.

We were very happy with the food, the portion size and the price. I had pad sew with tofu and my husband had sweet and sour pork. Hit the spot. Big plus is the genuinely sweet and helpful nature of the owners and staff. Their demeanor shouts«we want to please you.»
