Fry’s Food Stores

This is my local Fry’s. I visit this store at least 3 or 4 times a week to use the bank or grocery shop. The store is always clean. The staff seem to stay somewhat consistent. The selection of items is fairly good. They have decent sales often enough. I don’t have any issues with this location, it is definitely my go-​to for my daily essentials.

Ok. so the old manager is gone and there is a new group of people working here that are super. Have been back almost daily for about a month and no issues. They make my drink perfect every time:)

The grocery store is amazing. I am writing on here about the Starbucks inside the grocery store. We went in twice this weekend and both were bad experiences. First day both of our drinks were made wrong but we had already left and didn’t care enough to go back. However the second day a guy named Trevor was working with some older lady who was clearly new and miserable. First she made the iced coffee with the wrong milk and tried to guilt trip my mom about it when she asked to make another one. My mom asked for 2% milk and she made it with nonfat. The old woman said oh I guess I’ll start over then and stared and waited for my mom to say oh no its OK. After a few moments of awkward silence went by we just said OK to the old woman response of having to make another one and she finally proceeded to make another one after dumping the old one out with a ridiculous attitude. Then while making the second iced coffee we asked if she put in sweetener and she said so rudely «yea I did that first then picked up the bottle of sweetener and said its over here, see I did it already, do you want more?» She was so rude I am disgusted with her behavior and lack of customer service. Clearly a miserable old woman but do not take it out on customers. I found this situation ironic because we were standing in front the the sign that said «don’t like your drink? Let us know and we’ll always make it right.» I guess they’ll make it again after making the customer feel like crap. Its called quality control woman get out of customer service if you can’t keep up

Love this grocery store because there’s so much more than just food sold there! We signed up for their VIP card and are looking forward to great savings! Shoot $ 3 off sunscreen is so awesome!

Mixed feelings about this place.
It’s a nice, clean store with good variety. I will say that their bolillo rolls are the closest thing to a decent hoagie roll that I’ve found in this part of the world.
Customer service is another thing. We stoped in on a Saturday morning around 10 for some scallops from the meat/​seafood dept. We noticed two other customers waiting at the counter without any assistance in sight. After a few minutes I poked my head in the back (I’m a bold article) and asked the two employees if someone could help us. They replied that they were helping other customers, though none of them appeared to be the one’s that were waiting at the counter.
Frustrated, I went to customer service, where they called for Jay, the manager. As he approached, knowing that he was being paged at the counter, he deviated his course to help open another checkout line. Admirable, but there really wasn’t enough traffic to warrant, especially when he’d been paged. As I approached him, he brushed right past me.
As I walked away, he came calling after me, yelling at me down the aisle that he «didn’t know I was waiting for him». It was ten steps, Jay. Maybe you should have walked up to an unhappy customer as opposed to calling loudly after him.
We eventually got what we needed and checked out. As the rolls were so good, I’ll undoubtedly stop in again. But I’ll be sure to know that I’m best off if I stick with what I can grab off the shelves instead of relying on help from the staff.

What a great grocery store! This store isn’t very close to where we live, but we were new in town and had never been to a Fry’s. It was super clean and had just about everything you could imagine in this store. It looked like a relatively new store, and items were attractively displayed. I loved the fact that they had Boar’s Head meats in their deli and several marinated varieties of tri-​tip beef roast. I will make the trip again for sure!

I like this Fry’s. It’s really convenient for my folks who live nearby. They seem to cater to a lot of the senior clientele. It’s always clean and there appears to be a good selection of items.

I don’t like this fry’s. I like Fry’s stores but this one seems to have been skipped when they revapped all the rest were done.

deli counter is swamped at lunch and no fresh sushi. dont eat the sushi. Deli Food Isn’t great. and staff cant help you find anything.
Need a Frys go to the On on Fair st. off of Miller Valley rd.
