I was severely disappointed.
I was drawn into Lala’s by the music on Acker night last week and made an appointment for myself and daughter for haircuts and waxing services for that next Saturday. We showed up for our appointment on time and was told that the stylist was ill and we could wait. Or they could call someone who could be there «in a few minutes». And finally that someone could be there soon to do one of us and then in an hour someone else could do the other.
I understand people get ill, but that’s also the reason my phone number was left when I made the appointment. The shop saw no problem with me wasting my time (the weekend before Christmas) to come into their shop on a Saturday morning to tell me there was a problem. Not a good first impression and I’m supposed to trust my hair and eyebrows to you?

I had been to a local Aveda Salon (St. Martin, just reviewed) about 6 weeks prior, and was extremely UNHAPPY, so I scoured the internet for a DIFFERENT Aveda salon and found La La’s. Stephanie was able to schedule me for a Sunday which is my day off, and in I went. She listened to me and asked questions and we decided on what I needed (partly to get rid of the ORANGE hair from the previous stylist/​salon visit). I left with beautiful, soft, shiny hair and a cut that I LOVE!

I WILL BE BACK! It is worth every cent and a big ol’ tip!

Stephanie was fabulous. I came in from out of town and was nervous about going to a different hairdresser. She put me at ease and gave me a wonderful precision haircut.
