We went looking for a mattress. not sure if we would be purchasing yet or not but wanted to get an idea of cost. Our salesman Paul was fantastic! He was very low pressure, would let us browse and then return to answer any questions that we may have. He was very knowledgeable and honest about what the better options were. Excellent selection and great prices. Thanks for all your help!

Rude… weird sales people at this store(2nd time/same thing). Went looking for a sofa, sales guy not helpful at all. They really don’t have much to choose from when you get down to it. Left within 5 minutes, went to PV to Mattress & Furniture Gallery, better selection, made my choice & they have FREE delivery!

The furniture we purchased was a couch and loveseat from the Prescott store. In less than 1 year, all the cushions had to be replaced due to losing their form. My husband and I are not large people, we have no pets, and no children, so the furniture was definitely not abused. After another year, the new cushions also lost all shape and form and the fabric began fraying at the seams in several areas to where some seams were literally coming apart. While I understand that poor quality is just something we all have to live with now due to everything being manufactured overseas, what was most distressing was the poor customer service provided in the process of getting them replaced. The number of phone calls was ridiculous. We never talked to anyone more than once. They continued to lose paperwork. They said we did not have an extended warranty, when we did. We had the warranty in hand, and when we called them on it, they finally conceded. After having someone come out and take pictures, we then played the phone game with them for several more weeks. After everyone at the customer service center pretended not to know what was going on, they then wanted to send out someone else to take pictures again, and start the whole process over. It was clearly a ploy to try and get us to just drop it, but after many more calls, time spent with multiple reps, and a lot of frustration over the poor service, after about 3 months, we finally got the cushions out of them. The entire experience was dreadful and made us realize that there is absolutely no customer service in this company. Even though they may carry some decent lines of furniture, we will never purchase anything from them again, as we would not want to risk having to repeat this experience. My recommendation would be to stay as far away from the Room Store as possible.

Bought a mattress from the Roomstore in Prescott. I tried numerous mattresses in the store. out of all of them this was the most comfortable. The salesperson said she would throw in 4 pillows and two mattress pads free for my purchase and gave me a 150.00 store credit. I thought cool. The bed was delivered and I realized after a couple weeks it wasn’t the bed for me… I slept on it for 20 days but kept waking up with my hips hurting. I got a hold of the salesperson and told her I wanted a refund because the bed was not working out. She asked if I wanted store credit. I told her I read I had 30 days to get a cash refund… After a bit of back and forth she said I could get a refund. The next day I tried to get a hold of her, not knowing she was off for a few days. The manager said he would give me a refund… minus 4 pillows and mattress pads… REALLY!!! He said they were free at the time of purchase but pillows and pads are non refundable so I had would have to give them 258.74 for the pillows and pads. I told them had I know I really paid for them, and they were NOT free, I would not have taken them… why should I pay for items that were given to me for free? The answer… if you would not have returned the bed the volume wasn’t there to make them free… REALLY… Well this is not over… Stand by

Arrived at this store looking for a dining room set and entertainment table. Found both and had the salesman work on a price. He walked away from us, pulled out his calculator, and secretly started plugging away at numbers. He then presented us with a dollar figure. When we stated we would buy the items today but for $ 200 less he got very testy, stated buying furniture isn’t like buying a car, and sarcastically thanked us for coming in. Never once did he apologize that the purchase price was firm and couldn’t lower it anymore. Again he thanked us for coming in and promptly stating the table and chairs«WEREALREADYONSALE». Everyone knows there is a huge markup on furniture, even when it is supposedly«on sale», but the the salesman shouldnt get freakin snotty at the customer just because they are looking for a better/lower price. So we walked out of the store without buying anything. This was our 5th visit here where we never bought a single piece of furniture. One other comment… why do they insist on asking the same question over and over again as one walks in the door: «have you been here before and who helped you». Who cares!

Very disappointed in this store’s service. We ordered a bedroom set, was supposed to be delivered in 7 – 10 days. after 10 days I called to get a status update. One item came in and the other was back ordered. Was anyone going to call me to tell me this? One month later, still no contact from them. I called for the 3rd time for an update. This time they called me back to say«Guess what? We can deliver your furniture tomorrow». WHAT? Why suddenly was my furniture in? Was it up to me to keep nudging them? Very poor customer service.
