If you happen to be in the area, this is worth a visit. It’s a little market truly in the middle of farmland, and you can bet the fruits and veggies sold here are local. Now that the season’s about over for blueberries, they simply didn’t offer any. There weren’t any shipped in from California. I love that kind of honesty. Instead, there were dozens of varieties of apples, lots of zucchini, summer squash, corn, and some perfectly beautiful butternut squash. They make(and give away samples of) apple cider and apple butter here, and there’s a wonderful bakery counter filled with rustic and absolutely delicious sweets: apple pies, caramel apples, fruit filled cookies(incredible!), muffins(delish!). No fancy schmancy pastries here, but what’s even better is the shop smells like bakery heaven and there’s a complimentary cup of coffee with every bakery purchase.
