The ambiance was dark and depressing. They definitely need a facelift. Service was great but the food sucks! I recommend a new chef and an updated menu. The only thing I can say I enjoyed was the lobster bisque. Save your coins and go to the buffet next door. I’m sure you’ll get a better bang for your buck!

I was going to post a bad review for this restaurant not for the food but for the service we received by Joe the waiter. It took him at least 20 min after asking him something to have him come back. The restaurant wasn’t crowded so I saw no need for this. After dinner we did order dessert to go, once again took 20+ minutes for him to bring the desserts but made sure to have the bills ready right there and returned for them within 5 minutes. We asked to speak to a manager to let him know about the service we received. The manager took care of everything and we did leave satisfied. Food was decent for the price.

Keep driving! We were looking for something with a decent review when stopping for dinner in Primm. This place had the highest review, so we gave it a shot. If you happen to be allergic to palatable food, this is the place for you. While the waitstaff was kind and the restaurant was clean, the food was bland, poorly seasoned, and much of it was clearly microwaved. All the side dishes were overcooked and dry. The steaks, while good cuts of meat, were destroyed by the chef’s lack of culinary skill. In summary? Keep driving. Forge ahead to Baker and get some Alien Jerky. You’ll be glad you missed this place.

Has a really elegant dinner with my friend at Stateline at the close of our vacation in Vegas. I ordered the 16 oz prime rib which was more than enough cooked medium, I wish I would’ve ordered it medium rare. It was delicious. The garlic mashed potatoes and a few sprigs of asparagus was also tasty. My friend and I shared the molten lava chocolate cake on top of vanilla ice cream, which was sooo good.

I have very mixed feelings about this place. It’s in a dive hotel, so it’s decent food in a pretty run down place. It has the best reviews of any restaurant in Primm. What do I compare it to? It’s hard to compare it a fine steakhouse, which it certainly is not. It is far cheaper than that. Better than Sizzler but certainly no Morton’s. It is definitely a nice cloth napkin and long pants establishment but a denim clad dude will not exactly be turned away. All of the employees are polite and friendly and a step above the fast food workers in the hotel but are not exactly providing a refined level of service usually associated with a fine steakhouse. The room is nice… big, spacious, and comfortable booths. Delicious little mini baguettes and butter shaped like roses. I had a lobster bisque which was decent and my wife had the Caprese Salad which was very good. I had a surf and turf which consisted of a NY steak with onions and crab legs. The crab legs were decent but not Vegas-good. The steak was just horrible. Whatever marinade or sauce they soaked it in was bitter and killed any meat flavor. I should have ordered it plain. Decent size but not edible. Side veggies were boiled to the point of mushy baby food. The baked potato, served with a tower of toppings was the highlight of my meal. My wife’s prime rib was superb and I spent 30 minutes being jealous. So there you have it… some good, some bad.

This is the sole fine dining establishment in Primm. It’s located inside the Primm Valley Resort & Casino(the one connected to the outlet mall). And who knew it was so popular? When we went here on a Saturday at 5:15pm(they open at 5pm), we were informed that they were fully booked up with reservations for the evening. Fully and completely booked. The bar serves their full menu. But the bar area doesn’t have very many seats(about 10) and was already full. We never would have thought this place would be so hopping. We returned around 6:30pm and were able to snag two seats at the bar. The bartender was friendly and attentive. We were taken care of and checked on often. We ordered two appetizers — steamed Alaskan king crab legs and onion blossom. And we opted to share a 12oz. prime rib. The king crab legs were quite reasonably priced for the amount you get. I will say that they were a little over-steamed, but still so tasty and wonderful. The onion blossom was surprisingly remarkably good. An upscale version of the chain restaurant version. The dipping sauce had just the right amount of kick. The prime rib was perfectly cooked and very thick. Granted, it could’ve been seasoned more, but we devoured it nonetheless. All in all, it was a great meal and a pretty good find in Primm.

Great steak with great company = a great time. The last dinner stop before 4 friends head back home from Vegas. There was the option of trying 1 – 2 star rated fast food or the 4 star rated steakhouse. In conclusion, we went with the steak. Upon arriving there, a nice host greeted us and took us to our table. Menu selection was good and since none of our party was really hungry, we decided to do a split salad and steak. The server was a little too friendly and was really trying to sell more things to us than we wanted. We were persistent on not ordering more, we had 2 caesar salad, bone-in ribeye and prime rib. Presentation of our dinner was amazing. He had split the salad for us and brought extra plate with side and garnish for entrée. The salad was a little disappointing. I did not think it tasted very much like a caesar salad. The steak, however, was delicious and juicy. I love the combination of a little fat with my ribeye. Overall, with a location of limited choices, this was a pretty nice restaurant. Would recommend eating here over the buffet.

FORGETTHECHEAPBUFFET, EATHERE! Was surprised to find a «fine dining» restaurant at The Primm but happy we tried it out. If you don’t mind spending an extra $ 5 – 10 for your meal rather than the buffets come here and get your money’s worth! Steamed crab appetizers: 5 split pieces of snow crab(technically 2 ½ whole crab legs) were succulent and delicious! Not salty like some buffets where they boil them in salt water. Shrimp cocktail: 5 jumbo shrimps served in an ice display. Yummy! Worth sharing Special cowboy ribeye steak: I didn’t know it was cooked with a sauce and toppings. It came out with some sauce which was cooked with onions and other ingredients. It was tasty but unfortunately overcooked. I wanted mine grilled so I had them take it back. This was taken off our bill. Prime rib: this was the winner of the night! Thick slab of prime rib was tender and full of flavor! Came with a potato side. 16 oz was big enough to share. Only flaw was both the prime ribs were overcooked. Should’ve been medium rare but came out almost well done. Fortunately it was still tender and enjoyable. Rib eye steak: it was char grilled and delicious. A bit on the thinner cut but overall very good. Filet mignon: nice size and very thick cut! Ordered it medium and it came out perfect. ORDERTHEIRCHEESECAKE! The manager told us their New York style cheesecake was good and I can vouch that this was probably the best made cheesecake I ever had! Creamy and perfect =) Service: 5 stars! Our waitress(aurora) and server were both attentive and very friendly. The manager came by and made us laugh and he really sealed the deal when one of our food didn’t come out right. He took it off the bill and gave us a cheesecake to-go! Excellent customer service we were impressed.
