Can’t say enough good things about Fiesta Bar. The food is superb and the service is outstanding! Everything is freshly prepared and well seasoned. The drinks are delicious as well :) Not your typical Mexican Restaurant. Try it you will return!

We went here to check it out due to the reviews. We normally go to Mexico Restaurant. So in Comparing the 2, Mexico is much better! The chips and salsa are«ok» the chips are too thin and they don’t give much. I ordered the seafood burrito… it was not what I was expecting! The shrimp was baby shrimp(the ones they use in Shrimp salad) there was so little crab meat that it «disappeared» into the sauce. The scallop were also small. I was still quite hungry after I ate all my food! The desert was good(cheesecake chimichanga) the flan was NOT good, tasted stale with little flavor. My husband ordered the steak with rice/black beans. The steak was folded and cooked folded… they didn’t open it to cook it properly. The rice and beans were ok, needed seasonings, it was like they opened a can of beans heated it in the microwave and served it. I would recommend Mexico! It is better quality and more food for the same amount of money!!!

I don’t know if we just went on an off day, but we were not impressed. It was a late lunch on a weekday and there was only one other couple. The server was nice. The tomato sauce tasted like Chef Boyardee. Nothing authentic, no seasoning/spice. We ordered bean burritos, got the free chips and salsa — which was great– and tortilla soup. I would ask for hot sauce or something to jazz up the flavor for the beans, rice and burritos. The salsa is good. Maybe get more of that. Next time we want Mexican we will do Salsaritas. That place is awesome! (This is updated to add more detail)

What a local gem! The four of us went for lunch today and all loved our food. We had the queso and chips(delicious!), a couple of fajita orders(amazing!), a chicken fajita burrito and a burrito carbon. The food was excellent, the restaurant itself very attractive and clean, and the best part was the outstanding service. When we left with extra fajita fixins, they boxed it up to go and gave us more fresh beans, rice and tortillas to go with it, even though we had eaten all of that on our plate. THAT is a great restaurant. This place rose to join Jerry’s Place in our Top 2 in Southern Maryland today, on our very first visit. We need more places like this in the area, and will recommend this to everyone we know. Any time you feel valued as a customer in a restaurant, it makes you want to go back. They did that very, very well. P. S. They offer homemade hot sauce made from ghost peppers and habaneros which is very hot but very good, and all but one of their desserts is homemade. We took one to go!

My only complaint is that this place isn’t closer. Great food, good customer service. Place was clean and modern. The dessert was fantastic, Chimi cheesecake. Highly recommend.

Great variety, delicious food and friendly service! Great place! Highly recommended: anything with steak, the salmon dish, guacamole with flour tortilla chips(crispy outside, melt in your mouth interior), Milanese de pollo and the margaritas. So, so good.

Best Mexican food I’ve had in a LONG time! Great service and really friendly staff. They have lots of vegetarian options! Their guacamole is AWESOME! And if you get dessert(which you should), the Cajeta is the most amazing thing we have ever tasted!

A real gem. Delicious food. Great service. Reasonable prices. Nice atmosphere. There’s even a section on the menu for vegetarians. I’m stingy with my stars, but this place earned all 5.

By far the best Mexican food in southern Maryland. Courteous staff, fresh food in a clean setting. Food was excellent and was very well prepared and flavorful. I cannot say how great this place is and I will recommend to everyone!

Best Mexican cuisine in Calvert county. Amazing salsa and had the seafood enchiladas. I’d recommend it to anyone. Please try this place! Also the mojitos are yummy!

My wife and I love this place. Easily the best restaurant in Prince Frederick and the best Mexican food in Southern Maryland. Anything with steak is amazing, as are the vegetarian options. If you like spicy, ask for the hot sauce, house made with ghost and habenero peppers. The classic margaritas also rock! They have it all. I recommend lomo saltado for meat eaters and the diverse veggie fajitas or the melt in your mouth veggie chile rellenos. Even the chips and salsa are great. You will not be disappointed.

Umm potatoes in your chicken enchiladas? Yeah no. Fajitas were good, they were nice to my kids and the chips were good. In the food desert that is Calvert County this works but in any other town they would be out of business.

We don’t travel into Prince Frederick often, and this time we decided to grab lunch while we were out. We were craving Mexican food and decided to try this place. We were even more excited to see there was a deal through Unilocal for it so we purchased it and went in for a feast. Salsa was awesome. Chunky-style and fresh with just enough spice. We shared the Queso dip with chorizo sausage. Most places have white cheese for this, I was a little worried when I saw yellow, but it was still really good. Chorizo was cooked well, very flavorful and added just enough grease to the dip. I had the burrito al carbon. The steak inside was fantastic, some of the best I’ve had at restaurants such as these. Steak tends to be overcooked and underseasoned but that was NOT the case here. Even the rice was good. It wasn’t dry like a lot of blended rice. It mixed very well with the red sauce smothered on my delicious burrito. My husband enjoyed the seafood chimichanga. He talked about it the whole way home, not really, but he did talk about it. It was cooked just right, seafood inside tasted great and he really enjoyed the beans and guac. Normally we don’t order desserts, but since we had the voucher, we decided to complete our feast. We split a cheesecake chimi and fried ice cream. The chimi was warm, not too sweet and the perfect size for a dessert. The fried ice cream was both of our favorites though. It was a huge ball of ice cream, fried just right, tossed with yummy caramel sauce. Both deserts had 4 halves of strawberries on the plate. Our server was very professional and checked up on us frequently, but not so much as to be overbearing. I was shocked the place was empty other than one other table. I wish I had snagged a pic or two to go with this review but I couldn’t wait to dig into all the deliciousness that was this meal. We will be back again!

After my initial review, I was contacted by the owner and asked to revisit for a complimentary dinner. I stopped in and did not mention who I was or that I had the certificate for dinner. This visit was much more enjoyable and the service was much better. I’m assuming that they just had a bad day as the previous reviews were all great. The food was good and the portion size was very nice. It got a little busy at the end of our dinner and the service started to slow down as it seemed there was only one person waiting the tables. I’m glad that I went back and will likely be back for future dinners.

I came here after reading a few Unilocal reviews in seeing that he was very close to my new home in Huntingtown upon arrival we order our food the waiter was awesome he was so friendly here actually two of them who service both of them were very nice very friendly and very customer service orientated so we ordered our food and make sure we have a little room left for dessert and after bagging up our food all three of us ordered dessert which was amazing one thing we don’t tend to do is look at the prices on the menu we did order when we went and eat and that is a big mistake of ours because we were a little astonished to see for three people the bill was $ 110 the good thing is that they offer a Unilocal deal for $ 25 you get $ 50 off your meal so that was a plus! All in all we left a $ 25 tip because the service was impeccable and left fat happy and full! I doubt we will return here but I would definitely recommend at least coming one time! Delicioso!

This place has always been me and my wife’s favorite Mexican restaurant in town. Last time we went there we had an unsatisfactory experience and brought this to their attention. The owner personally got in touch with us and graciously invited us back and took such wonderful and personal care of us, I think this is a sign of an excellent business, a business that cares about each of their clients!

I love this place and think they have the best Mexican food in the tri-county area. We’ve eaten here at least 6 times in the past year and it is always a success story. Food is fresh and appears home made. Try the chicken fajita burrito and you won’t be disappointed! Drinks are really good, and if you need a mojito they most likely have the mint leaves to make it!
