This toy store is convenient if you don’t want to go to Princeton center or any of the best buy’s around. The selection is actually very good and they have a general bias towards toys which are more educational or challenging in nature. A little too much of the Playmobil stuff(must be good margins that’s all I can say) but otherwise a well balanced store. Nothing unique but can get good gifts here.

I went to this store to buy a gift for a family member’s child and was about to make a very large purchase. Since I had a question about one of the products, I approached an older woman who was working there and was ignored completely as another customer walked in the door. I was literally physically shoved aside so that she could go and help the other customer who just came in. I made a comment to her about it but she didn’t respond. Instead, she was very friendly and willing to help the new customer who had just walked in and was dressed in expensive clothing and a lot of jewelry. She was oozing opulence and I guess I wasn’t. I left all my items, walked out of the store and proceeded to go to another local toy store to make my purchase where I was treated well though they were a lot busier and crowded than the Learning Express was. Don’t judge people because of how they are dressed. Just because I wasn’t wearing any showy expensive clothing/jewelry it doesn’t mean that I have less money than those who choose to wear their wealth on their sleeves. I will not be shopping there again. I rather spend my money at a place that doesn’t so rudely judge me based on my appearance.

One of the best toy stores in the area with the nicest owner. Fantastic selection of Melissa & Doug items, science toys, things you actually want to buy for your kids & their friends. Jazams is another favourite, but here you have ample parking
