Well, they aren’t actually open at 7:30. Or 8:15am for that matter. Which is highly annoying because I came all the way out here to drop off a tailoring project before work and now I’m waiting outside locked doors despite the fact that the hours posted on said doors say they open at 7:30am.

I brought two silk shirts to get dry cleaned. One needed a simple hemming since a thread came out. When I went to pick up my shirts, the sewing job was not done. The man said, «It’s okay it’s okay, we can do it. Don’t worry about it.» I am not sure if he meant that the fee was waived or something but the woman started speaking angrily in Korean, demanding to see the receipt and whether I paid for the hem or not. I was willing to pay for the hemming, but I felt awkward being in the middle of that. Also, it was $ 10 for a simple hemming. like literally just running a thread straight across the bottom flap of my shirt. I don’t know how these services are normally priced, so maybe it wasn’t as expensive as I thought it was.

I needed the shoulder seam of a dress to be pulled and for it to be dry cleaned. The dress was lined so it was not an easy fix; I asked if they would be able to do it and I was assured that the seamstress is a professional.
It was a botched job — the shoulder seam was pulled in but doesn’t lie flat on my shoulder and is already started to pull apart with frayed threads poking out. And the dress is just as wrinkled as when I brought it in.
The turn around time was only two days. (Maybe not a good thing?) However, the regular dress shirts/​pants/​etc of the customers in front of me looked thoroughly pressed. Another guy had his pants hemmed and seemed happy with them.
Bottom line: use this place for the basics.

Simply the best. Han and his wife treat customers like family — I’ve seen him make a long line of people wait as he personally walked an elderly gents ’ clothes to the car in the rain (and no body minded of course). Love.

So far, this is the best cleaner I’ve found in the area. They cost about half the price I used to pay, and turnaround time can be as short as two days.
The owners are very friendly, and were generous enough to let me know that a garment I brought in needed only laundering and not dry cleaning — that change saved me about eight bucks, and he had every incentive to just dry clean it anyway.

I chose this place based on proximity to home and I’m really glad I live so close. They do an excellent job. Things I’ve had for years look borderline new. I’ve been back a couple times and I’ve always been pleased. Also, when I went during Christmas time, they gifted me a lint roller. How nice is that? Very happy with Signature Cleaners.
