I am beyond impressed with Brian at New York Camera of Princeton. Not only is he extremely knowledgable but he is also very kind and willing to take his time when helping customers (my experience). He was very receptive and understanding when I had an issue with my dslr. Also, I had a nice experience with Lou… Very nice and accommodating man.
I will definitely be returning to this store!

Very happy with my passport photos. Their website promised professionally taken passport photos in five minutes with no appointment. And that’s exactly what I got! I walked in without an appointment and walked out a few minutes later with my photos in hand. The photographer was friendly and polite. A good price too (one dollar less than the CVS across the street.)

Great experience making a passport photos. I needed a passport photo and went to CVS across the street… big mistake. Then tried this place and happy I did. Photo I got was professionally done and for the same price as CVS. There was a couple before me waiting for their pictures and I was apologized to for waiting 5 times considering that I just walked in.
Will go back for more camera services and printing. Definitely recommend.

Wow… personal attention! Expertise in everything photography, from development of your photos to purchasing the correct camera for you to matting your photographs in a professional way for gallery shows.
Prices are competitive with New York. Ask for Brian!!!

I’ve passed this place for years but only stopped in recently. They have a good selection of equipment and supplies, they make it a policy to try to beat the prices of places like B&H and Best Buy, and they do printing. The owner was friendly and knowledgeable. Recommended!

This store is a true gem, a local family business that can match any big box or NY discount store price while giving you sound advice and personal service. If they don’t have it, they can get it quickly. My wife, a novice photographer, and I have always had good experiences there, from a nominal purchase to a very significant one.

I’ve got to disagree with the previous reviewer — I go back whenever I can! I’ve gotten many gifts here, including a blown up picture from Utah that Brian (the younger of the family duo) touched up for me before printing. They have given me good, straight advice about my camera, generally been friendly and awesome, and recently donated some goods to a fundraiser I ran. Good, community-​based business that has given me great service and has given back!
