Wow, such a beautiful and dreamy concert hall! A lot of awesome things happen here, from local student performances to international sensations like Sarah Chang. Regardless of the caliber of the performers the Venue itself will make your outing feel incredibly classy and authentic. It looks like a thousand years of history are trapped in here, yet feels more home-y than say Lincoln center in New York.

Saw the very talented Danish String Quartet here. Beautiful building and auditorium in a convenient location on the university campus. The venue plays host to an eclectic mix of performances. It has a relatively intimate feel, decent acoustics, and old-style seats which are a tad uncomfortable. Staff, about half of whom are Princeton students, were all warm, welcoming, and helpful. Handicap and university permit parking are available in front of the building. Otherwise, park on one of the streets surrounding the campus. Intermission coffee and snacks sourced from nearby Small World coffee shop.

A GORGEOUS auditorium! They have an amazing range of concerts, performances and lectures. It’s an independent venue, so they’re approached by outside groups and performers. They do a lot of work for the university, which usually means hosting talks and a few university wide variety shows. Students see it as the place where most of their freshmen orientation happens. But they have a TON of other amazing shows. Each week there’s at least 2 or 3 concerts ranging from full orchestras, to PU Glee Clubs, to string quartets who play at Carnegie Hall the next day. Definitely check our their calendar to see what events are happening!
