Sam’s Club

Like a typical Sam’s Club, not very different. Minus 1 star for the long lines! You would think they would be able to become more efficient after all these years.
A plus is the pizza!!!

Sam’s Club is great for certain things in bulk. I usually buy the black bean burgers, bagel thins, berries and fruit. Small café has decent pizza and frozen yogurt for extremely discounted prices.

I am writing this review based on my phone interaction alone with the Sam’s Club in Princeton.
I called today to check the availability of a specific item. The woman on the phone laughed at me and proceeded to tell me that she has 30 people waiting for returns and she will put me on hold. I told her that was fine and she didn’t have to look up the item for me.
I can definitely appreciate the fact that she is busy and there a lot of customers. However, I don’t appreciate the fact that she laughed at me as if I am asking a ridiculous question. I do not believe that is the way to treat a customer.

Not long ago, there was a groupon for an amazing deal: $ 45 for a membership for you and another person, a $ 20 gift card, and 3 free items (rotisserie chicken, scalloped potatoes, and apple pie). I’ve seen this deal twice already so keep an eye out! When I just joined, I happened to be hosting a baby shower and was able to buy everything I needed at a very reasonable cost and stay on budget… the coconut buttercream cake, meatballs, pigs in a blanket, veggies, taquitoes, etc. Also if you are strapped for cash, go around lunch time on the weekend, it samples galore.

Do not go here if you want to check out in a reasonable amount if time. These are the SLOWEST cashiers I’ve ever experienced. Of course people shop at SAMs club to buy a lot of items and if that was what took so long i would understand… but no. It was as if the cashiers were examining every item they were scanning. Then someone bought an electronic item and no one could find the right keys to get it. I went for 3 items and was in line for 20 mins god no reason. So frustrating!

What’s with the negative reviews? This looks just like any other Sam’s Club locations. It is very easy to spend way more than you wanted since almost everything in the store costs $ 10 but you can save on certain items by purchasing in bulk. I personally like to buy frozen shrimp, string cheese, bagel thins, Smart Water and Veggie Sticks from Sam’s because it’s the cheapest price you’ll find (just to name a few). Also the sheet cakes are delicious and the cheapest price in the area. I can’t remember the exact price, but when I was shopping around for a sheet cake last year I remember Sam’s was lower by a lot.
Don’t doubt the clothing section either. I have bought shoes (Steve Madden and Mia), a trench coat (Kenneth Cole) and pajamas (Betsey Johnson) from here. People are shocked when I tell them my cute buys came from Sam’s. Those items tend to go quickly so come often.
On the weekends there are so many employees scattered around the store with little tables for customers to sample products ranging from cheese, frozen meals, yogurts, fresh fruits, drinks, etc. You can honestly have a meal if you stop at every sample station.
There are no plastic bags available so either bring your own bags from home or take the cardboard boxes available at the store.

this sam’s club is okay. like all sam’s clubs, it looks like a huge empty warehouse. this is the one i go to stock up on items in bulk. i’ll usually haul a bunch of frozen food, toilet paper, paper towels, bottled water, etc from here. there have been times where i found, that if you get coupons and go to a normal grocery store. you can end up saving more.
i like that they have employees at little tables where you can have samples before you decide on buying items. i don’t know if its me, but i think sam’s club causing people that live around this area to become big boned.

This place is always dirty and the employees of this location treat the customers like they are doing them a favor whether is to answer a question or at the cash register… In addition, the bathroom is always disgusting with toilet papers on the floor and sometimes even urine on the floor; I am not sure if it’s because the warehouse is not keeping the place tidy or the customers who frequent this establishment are just not caring and disgusting. Regardless, I hate coming to this Sam’s Club…
