I have depended on the UPS store on Nassau Street(formerly on Witherspoon) for years. In response to the negative reviews I think it is important to note that with Princeton University and all the local businesses in town, this is a very busy location. It does not surprise me at all that they are on the phone when customers arrive. I often call with questions and requests and have come to rely on their immediate answering of my call and patient explanations of process and procedures. I cannot imagine Christmas time without them. I have many friends who rely on them to ship all their luggage for vacations and do so with the confidence that their bags, skis, golf clubs, etc. will arrive safely and on time. Much of the shopping I do for my family is done online, which often results in prepaid return shipping. No matter how many other customers are in the store, Sweta and Ivan will help me with my packages and hold the door. I actually find it remarkable that they seem to be able to wait on four or five customers at once with efficiency and professionalism. They are warm and friendly… does Sweta joke with customers? yes! She is a fixture in town, a character and a breath of fresh air. Princeton can be a difficult and demanding customer base but I think they handle this with ease and grace. I have absolutely no connection to this store other than being a long time customer. I had to write when I came upon these surprising reviews.

PS For the record, the person that posted one day after I did with a 5 star review coincidentally shares a first name with one of the employees and is posting for the first time. Interesting.

Went to pick up a package that I needed rerouted to this address. When I went to pick it up I was met with a «why would you come here to pick up a package» as if it’s not a service in which this location fully participates. I expect that employees know how to handle their customers and transactions they may not deal with routinely; NOT be met with a rude and incredulous tone.

Sweta and Ivan have done a fine job of managing my mail at this UPS Store. I have rented a mailbox from them for 2 years now. I paid $ 350 for the first 2 years of service, and as an introductory promotion, they offered 3 additional months at no charge. Over the course of 2 years, there have been a few hiccups and Sweta has done a reasonable job of remedying them. One particular occurrence is worth mentioning. I had another mailbox holder’s piece of mail inadvertently forwarded to me while overseas. Sweta was insistent that I ship it back to her no matter the cost or effort involved. That really made me feel good knowing that she was accountable and that our mail is in good hands. I was happy to go the extra mile because I feel that her and Ivan have treated me professionally and not just as a number. that is why i believe they stand out from other UPS stores that I’ve dealt with. I can trust that they will take care of things and show reasonable flexibility when unforeseen circumstances arise. They have been good to work with and accommodating. I will try to update this review periodically as they have just changed locations in the past few months. I have decided to stay with them for a third consecutive year and feel confident that their willingness to work through any unforeseeable challenges will be the clincher.
