The food here is AMAZING ! I live here on island and I must say this is my favorite place to eat in town. I recommend the honey Orange chicken. Also the walnut shrimp!

If you want good Thai food, Lotus Garden is the place. I found this place while vacationing in Princeville and the food is better than some of the Thai food I have had in California or New York. The Kauai shrimp is delicious.

I ordered the Choi sum and garlic and really enjoyed it! Nice staff. Fresh ingredients. I highly recommend it.

This place is good if you are very hungry and want sizable portions of food. The taste wasn’t commendable. Their tom yum was doused in lemon grass l; tofu in garlic ginger sauce was too sweet. Doesn’t look like they put thought into their food. All this served in styrofoam and plastic cutlery made it worse. They do have outside seating which is good.

We ate here the night before hiking the Kalalau Trail thinking noodles would be good carb loading. The food is served on paper plates & is pretty greasy, but seemed edible. We were two miles in with our 25-lb backpacks and my boyfriend was sick and nauseous, so we had to turn back. Then my stomach started hurting. Pretty sure this is what did us in. Can’t recommend it and will never go back.

This place is great! Everyone who works here is wonderful, so nice & friendly, and very accommodating. They will happily accommodate for those with food allergies or special dietary needs(like vegetarian or vegan) where possible. I eat here a lot and I love their curries, pad thai, drunken noodle, walnut shrimp, phở(when they have it)…it is all good! They also use local Kaua’i Shrimp in all of their shrimp dishes. Highly recommended for dinner or lunch on the go, or for anytime. Very family friendly outside food-court seating available too, and there is often live music at night.

It’s hard to find reasonably priced good food on Kauai, but this place is quite reasonable. This is a place where you call or walk in, place your order in the cramped area in the front of the kitchen, and then take the food home or eat it on a patio that serves for several similar eateries in the Princeville shopping Center. The portions were generous and were hot. We had won ton soup, pad Thai, and pork fried rice. The soup was steaming hot and the broth was tasty. The wontons were a bit overcooked, but not too bad. A few had small pieces of gristle. I wish there had been some pieces of pork in there and also some green onions(scallions), but there was some green leafy stuff. It rated 3 stars. The pad Thai was bland. Not enough sweet and ZERO bite. I like my pad Thai mild, but this was just too bland. Not bad, just bland. 3 stars again. The pork fried rice was the highlight. It was sticky as rice should be and the pork was delicious. 4 to 5 stars. It was about $ 28 for these three items. Reasonable.

The Lotus Café in Princeville center is my go to place for take out Thai/Chinese fare. They even have Vietnamese Phở at times. Everyone who has waited on me is always friendly. They go the extra mile for me since I am gluten sensitive or if I want to substitute vegetables in my curries. Great place with accommodating staff. Mahalo nui loa Jeanne Obert– Princeville

If you’re looking for great stir-fried dishes, this is the place; so good that we ordered take-out dinner twice during our stay in Princeville. The seafood, chicken and duck dishes were mixed with fresh vegetables and not overcooked. The only glitch was a mixup in our order the first night, which we did not catch until we’d returned to our condo — but it was all good.

The szechaun chicken & veggies were delicious, however the cream cheese puffs were barely even that. An extremely tiny puff with barely any cream cheese. My Google map app had issues finding it, taking us around in a circle, but it’s next to a loud bar in the Foodland court area.

Not the best customer service. It is overpriced but everything in Hawaii is. I took the Unilocal tip and ordered the off menu Salt and pepper chicken. That really was delicious. Kung pao seafood was whatever. Very small place so outdoor seating only.

I’m not sure how this place has so many positive reviews. It’s a mediocre food stand in the middle of a shopping center. The food was very bland and the prices way too high(for the quality). Thai food is usually one of my favorites, but this place lacks in flavor, quality and authentic taste.

Ordered takeout from here one night while my friend and I were staying in a condo in Princeville. I ordered the Spring Rolls and Peking Duck Stir Fry and the stir fry was just one of the most bland dishes I’ve had in a long time. The spring rolls were fine(hence the 2 stars instead of just 1)… but eh. Nothing about this place struck me as being quality or using fresh ingredients. My friend ordered the Honey Orange Chicken and was less than impressed as well. The leftovers for both of us sat in the fridge until we were cleaning out the condo before leaving… then it all just got tossed. TL;DR Pretty tasteless/generic food. Overpriced for what was provided. I don’t understand all the positive reviews, honestly.

Always a great meal. We love the drunken noodles. We eat here multiple times while on vacation. The team is extremely friendly and helpful when you are trying to decide what to eat.

I love this place! I was adventuring around the island, and my friend and I fell upon this wonderful establishment craving shrimp, it was the best choice in food we have made in quite awhile, honey-walnut shrimp, the steamed gyoza are the business! It was a to-go order because we were driving to the south, and simply in a hurry. The lady in the front, such a sweet woman with her big smile, it’s not a glamorous sit-in restaurant. But the authenticity on the food is perfect! I will eat here anytime I crave Chinese-Thai cuisine.

Teribble just terrible. All i have to say. Everything tasted like it was frozen vegetables from Costco with watered down oyster sauce. Blah!

Fresh preparation, nice flavored without tons of oil. We had 4 dishes + spring rolls and it was only around $ 50, so reasonable for dinner for sure. The Bok Choy with garlic and tofu was excellent. The Pad Thai is different than most I have had but this is not the first time I’ve had the tomato based Pad Thai so not a complete surprise. Overall it’s not fancy. Friendly people and nice flavors earn 5 stars

Pleasant jovial helper. Garlic fish«delish!» The fish was light, fresh and tasty. Outside seating. Family owned. Tucked in the back.

Avoid this place like the plague. My wife and I stopped by for lunch. I ordered the honey orange chicken and my wife ordered a veggie tofu plate. My wife just received a plate of broccoli. When she went back in to get tofu, they charged her an extra dollar. When the tofu came, it was inedible and believe me, my wife will eat anything. My orange chicken was overcooked. Ordinarily, when we get a less than quality meal we’ll just eat it. God doesn’t owe us the greatest lunch on earth. But this was so awful I took our nearly untouched plates back for a refund. First the cashier argued with me over what my wife ordered. Then he refused to give me a refund. Their food was awful, but they made up for it with their terrible customer service.

It’s Christmas Day and this place was a lifesaver on our very first vacation day! They were so friendly and nice, even though totally overwhelmed with the demand! The food was good not great but given it was our only option, I shouldn’t complain! They had a pretty long menu to choose from and the soups were the best part of our meal. Vegetarian friendly, decently quick, and reliable.
