Integra Telecom

This is our local Phone /​Internet /​TV provider. Not a big name provider but rather a local shop with all «live» local support. You can call and talk to real people. You can go to the store and talk to live people. And they are friendly!
I’ve been with Integra going on 17 years now. The Phone and Internet services have been rock solid perfect. Basically no outages ever. That is a huge contrast as compared to the local cable service that goes down fairly often according to friends that use the cable service.
The TV service is IPTV, aka Internet Protocol Television. So it is not cable or satellite — instead it uses the DSL lines to provide live TV service. The DSL is currently providing 30Mb download speed and that is plenty fast enough for HDTV. The TV service has fantastic up-​time, as does the phone and internet services.
For internet, the max speed you can get is 30Mb download, though only 1.5Mb upload. Download speed is more important, but note that if you need to do a big upload (like sending in a large number of photos to an internet photo service) it will go slower due to the 1.5 Mb upload max speed.
Phone uses the old school phone lines, and they work even in power outages. Very reliable.
I keep getting the mailers from the local cable shop wanting me to switch, but I just won’t do it since the Integra service is so reliable, and the cost is constant — it does not jump up year by year like they do with cable (or satellite for that matter).
If you want every possible channel and lots of 4k and HD options, satellite is probably better for you. But if you want fast, reliable, never down internet and phone then Integra can’t be beat! Thanks for reading.

I love supporting local business and this one is one of my favorites. They have great customer service and have been around for well over 40 years. They recently got into IP TV and it’s pretty good, although fairly expensive. I’d recommend this internet and TV service to anyone!
