Authentic, fresh food at good prices. The owners are so sweet and accommodating. I don’t eat Mexican too often but when I do, this is always where I go! The guacamole is fantastic and prepared fresh to order. I love the burritos, enchiladas, and chicken mole here. You can’t go wrong eating at los posadas.

Okay so I was in the area and I was really craving some good old traditional Mexican food and this was my closest choice on the Unilocal radar with decent reviews so I thought why not. I called ahead to place an order for a few tacos and the guy was nice over the phone and quoted me like 5 minutes which makes me wonder how does he cook them so fast or does he basically reheat the pre maid stuff already, nonetheless I was okay with the quick turn around time. I got there and my food was already ready, the owner(the guy up front) seemed nice and offered me a drink or something else even though I was there for just my tacos. The prices are decent and comparable to other little hole in the wall type of Mexican joints in the area so you won’t break the bank here. Now onto the important stuff, the good old tacos. The pastor which is the marinated pork were extremely delicious and a little on the crispy side as people say and they get two stars alone because they were delicious and full of flavor. The steak taco on the other hand was eh, definitely could have used a little more flavor in my opinion so i know next time to just stick to the pastor which were very good and better than some of the places around here. I wish I could have given them more stars but my salsa was a little watery which makes me hope they don’t water it down and he packed up my tacos so tight in foil that it kind of looked mushed up. I will definitely be back if I’m in the area especially for those pastor pork tacos and maybe just stick to those or maybe try some shrimp ones next time, and definitely a carry out type of place. Wish they would thicken their salsa a little bit and it’s good that they accept credit cards.

Been wanting to try this place for some time. I like the small business feel, it’s divvy and authentic and I’m fairly certain the gentleman behind the counter is the owner. He came off a little cheap at one point but I wasn’t really offended. I had a certificate and I think he just wanted to make sure he didn’t get screwed. The food was decent. Torta was pretty good, not the best. The al pastor tacos were pretty good. Not really something i would go out of my way for but its definitely a lot better than some places I’ve been too. Will update when i can compare to others in the immediate area

Really, really good tacos but the best are the tacos al pastor and they have a great jamaica juice.

We have been going to Los Posadas since they opened and have always been quite satisfied. Tho, about 2 weeks ago we went in and it subtly changed causing us some concern. The facility did not seem as clean as it previously was. Well this past Friday we stopped in and watched people walk out because they did not have chicken and some other items typically expected at a restaurant. One of the items ordered was cheese quesadillas and well when we the quesadillas were just about to get eaten we noticed spots of mold on the tortillas. It wasn’t just one spot of mold it was quite a few and NOWAY could they not have been spotted when they were being cooked. After seeing the mold spots we all started wondering what the rest of us had just eaten. So we will not be returning to this restaurant.

Love this place. Very authentic. I’m not one to get steak anything when eating Mexican food,(I usually always go chicken) but the steak tacos are fantastic. Lots of meat and pretty spicy. The green sauce is great too. I recommend this place.

This has been my favorite local place since high school, so for the last… 9 years! The owner is a sweetheart and always seems so happy to see me. I love that! Their food is cooked fresh in front of you and it’s delicious. I recommend the fut-Bol-ritto with chicken. The steak has too much fat for my personal taste.

Let me start by saying that the food was very good. I ordered chicken fajitas with chips and guac. They had to check and see if they had guac and let us know that they did when they found two avacados in the back. Needless to say it was fresh and delicious. They asked me if I wanted the fajitas spicy, and I took the challenge. The spice was just right, and finished the meal pleased with the quality and flavor. Why, you ask, might I give it two stars, then? Well, I had purchased a Unilocal deal and had intended on going here for dinner prior to going wine tasting in the area. We arrived and the door was locked and the open sign had been turned off with nothing indicating why, regardless of the fact that it was within their normal business hours. We live 40 minutes away, so we would have to once again drive 40 minutes to use the deal. Strike one. Wine tasting fell through that evening, and we decided to return within the week. Upon our return, the place was open and empty. The ambiance left much to be desired. There was nothing more than a strange mural on the wall. No music, no television, and nothing inviting. It wasn’t dirty, but it didn’t have the feel that it was well taken care of. I can look past good ambiance as long as it’s got good food and service. The food, yes. The service, well… Other than one other person who came in to pick up an order, we were the only people in the restaurant. Once our order was done, they set the plate at the front counter and let us know it was ready. They then sat down at the counter and spoke on the phone. I’m not super picky, but I would think that if you were a restaurant owner or employee and had nothing else to do, you might bring the plate to the only in the restaurant and ensure that your guests have what they need. Nope. It’s not a huge strike if that’s their normal operating procedure, but it is notable, especially considering what happened when we tried to use our Unilocal deal. Considering that we had $ 30 to spend, we made the most of it and ordered enough food to use it. We would likely have spent closer to $ 20, if we had not had the deal. When we tried to use it however, the gentleman at the counter let us know that he was no longer accepting them. He said that he had intended on putting up a sign letting people know that they would not be taking them anymore, but he hadn’t gotten around to it. He simply said sorry and that Unilocal should refund my money(which they did). He did not offer to rectify the situation in any way, he just apologized and asked that we pay our bill and be on our way. Is this the worst thing in the world? No, but it did leave us with a bad taste. I would think that he could have at least offered a discount of $ 10 as that is what we had expected to pay for the meal. Given how it worked out, they made out significantly better than if they would have accepted the deal or offered us a discount instead. It makes me wonder why they hadn’t cancelled the deal. I had only bought it less than week before and it was still available on the day I visited the restaurant. Perhaps they didn’t know how or were not aware that they could? Regardless, at least in my mind, it’s evidence that they’re not considering their customers as much as they should be if they would like to remain a viable business. Given this, the overall service, and the lack of any ambiance other than the strange mural, I would not come back, especially for dinner. However, I might consider it for lunch to go if I were in the area.

I’ve been going here probably 1 – 2 times a month for the past 4.5 years, as I work nearby. I’ve tried most of the Mexican joints in the area, and this has been the one most frequented. Their lengua is not only the best in the area, but some of the better stuff I’ve had period. Seasoned well and has perfect texture. Their chorizo is also top notch, as is the al pastor. Their steak is about average. Portion size is good, you don’t feel like you’re leaving ripped off from a tiny burrito, nor feel like they’re over compensating with a big burrito full of subpar ingredients. Over the past few years their sauce has changed a lot for the better, it’s thicker now and the green has a much better heat. Flavor of the red has stayed consistent but is also thicker now, seems pretty authentic(at least to a white dude who has eaten tons of Mexican food). I’ve never sat down to eat, but it seems like a good place to sit back, order some good Mexican grub and throw back a Negra Modelo or three with a bud.

Ehhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh… I can keep going. It’s not the worst, but there are SO many better places I have been to! Maybe it’s the area that doesn’t offer much Mexican food. The chicken taco wasn’t tasty at all. We didn’t even get chips and salsa before getting our food.

I tried eating here about 5 years ago for lunch — ending up crawled up in a ball on the bathroom floor wishing for death because the food poisoning was so bad. How did I know it was from here? Because it was all I ate that day. Fast forward to now and how quickly my brain forgets. My niece and I needed food after a long day. Tacos sounded good and this place was close to us. We walked in and were immediately greeted by a cute little 3(?) year old running around. We checked on the board, ordered two steak taco specials and paid. I sort of watched the owner. He washed his hands in a bucket of water and said it was a cleaning solution since he touched money. Ok, but wouldn’t a sink be more effective? Just then my brain and stomach said«OHNO!!! It’s this place!» I sat down because I really didn’t want to see anymore. We got our food, took it home and ate. Steak Tacos — fatty, gristle filled and barely there Tortillas tasted like they were old, they cracked in the middle. Rice — reheated from not sure when, but it had that old hard rice taste Beans — reheated reheated refried beans. Best part of our meal — her can of Coke! Although — I will say, I didn’t suffer from food poisoning this time. I just had horrible cramps and bad tummy issues a couple hours later. Brain and stomach are laughing at me.

Again, this time for the mole. Big chunks of chicken and amazing beans. I like the sauce but it’s not as good as Las Palmas. At half the price, it’s pretty good.

I’m not sure what’s up, but the last three times I’ve been here I’ve not been happy. Pork very fatty and bland on the tacos. Had to add salt. I gave it three times and I’m sad to say, I’m out. I wish them well as they are very nice people

YUM, YUM, YUM!!! So good, so fresh and authentic! We LOVE this little hole in the wall place, but it is clean and the food never fails! The service is great as well. We come here several times a month because it is our new favorite mexican place. It’s not fancy, but boy is it delicious! And it is so fresh!!! Highly recommended!

We have come here several times for dinner before events at church [Good Shepherd — come visit. ;)], and have found that it is getting better with time. Tried taco’s, burrito and Sope’s. Al Pastor is one of the better I’ve had around, and is now a standard favorite with all meals. They make their own red and green salsa’s, both excellent. Authentic Mexican recipe’s, not ‘Tex-Mex’. Service is good. Owner speaks broken English, but pays attention to detail, wiping the tables if needed or left messy by previous guests, showing concern and ensuring we were happy. All food is prepared fresh and to order, and you can taste the family recipe’s like you are back in a village in Mexico! TV playing Mexican programming, and many Mexican customers assure that you are in a place reminding them of home. I promise to give a more detailed report after a specific meal! ;)

Wow. The last two times we’ve been here, the tacos were 25%-50% fat and gristle. I’m really hoping it was a bad shipment of meat or something, but I have to be honest that I don’t know if I want to try it again.

Very good! Owner is very nice and handsome too 8) The pastor was lovely off the spit! The salsa was a nice red creamy one. Only bummer was that the avocados were not ripe and we happened to buy two orders of guacamole… but we WILL go back!

First time here. Gotta tell ya very impressed with the food at this 8 table family owned restaurant. The owner was very personable and attentive and the BEST burrito I have had. My friend had the Telapia and it was moist and flaky and cooked to order. The chips were fresh made and served with awesome salsa. The re-fried beans were very good and actually had whole beans in it. It is a must try if you are in the area. The décor may not be up to today’s «Ultra» restaurants but the home made food is well worth it. You will have to listen to Telemundo, but even Rambo in Spanish is still great.

These small business owners deserve your business. We’ve eaten there numerous times. The food is fresh and priced fairly. They’re friendly and genuinely appreciate your business.
