We were pointed in this direction by some lovely ladies in town. Needless to say, they did not disappoint. They were very friendly and their wine is yummy and priced very fairly. Everything we tasted was delicious and we left with a wide variety. As we were walking out the door, they even tossed in another Rosè on the house. We will definitely be back when we return to that side of the state.

Absolutely amazing. We showed up on a Tuesday on a really bad weather day. The owner let us in and gave us a wine tasting. He was the most incredible man. We had so much fun and the wine was great. Definitely worth the trip out… and we are from San Diego. We will back every time we come up to Washington!

Beautiful place and they have some great wines. I really like their Riesling but they have several wines that are worth the trip away from the tasting rooms in town. The patio is nice and the bocce ball court is fun. I say that it is not kid friendly but we arrived early in the day and they had no issues with our daughter playing bocce ball and running around outside.

Loving the changes at del Roza! Brand new tasting room space and they’re expanding the patio options. They will soon have heat lamps and bocci ball outside, plus full glass pours. Tastings were great, they own 4 acres of dolcetto grapes that make one kick ass wine!

Absolutely gorgeous and modern facility. Owners are friendly. Wine is good, a few with too many tannins for my taste. Especially liked the Cab & Merlot. Well done Prosser!

This is worth driving the 2 miles out of Prosser, trust me. First off, you get away from the crowds at the clustered-together tasting rooms, but secondly the wine is fantastic. My favorite white is the chenin blanc — it’s bright and fruity, crisp/lovely! My favorite red is the Dolcetto. This is a true estate winery and the winemaker is down to earth and fun to talk to. The tasting room is comfortable and decorated with great style. Also — I love that their wine sells out every year. They must be doing something right!

I was really excited to check out Pontin del Roza since we have been to Prosser a few times and hadn’t been up their way until this weekend. They are primarily white wine, so if you like reds, you’ll at least get to try out their cabernet sauvignon. But it’s so worth it to try their whites. We tried their pinot grigio, Rose’ Sunset, chenin blanc, white Riesling, and then their one red wine which was a Cab Sauv. I also tried their ice wine which was sweet and lovely… perfect at dessert time. They’ve been making wine for 25 years but this particular tasting room opened in 2008. It’s very modern, and I thought it was a bit out of the way until I realized our navigator led us on a roundabout route… it’s actually not far from Prosser’s city center. The Rose’ Sunset had a smoky pleasantness, and the chenin blanc was crisp and flowery, without being too sweet. We ended up getting three bottles of the chenin blanc. Their delicious Cab Sauv makes me very excited to see what reds they come up with, and we also can’t wait to come back here in the summer… gorgeous tasting room and patio.
