Really awesome men’s clothiers. The whole staff really went out of their way to make me feel comfortable, and were able to work within my college-sized budget. One stop here and you’ll wonder why men in Providence shop anywhere else. And yes, the tailoring is 100% free!

I have never written a review on Unilocal before, but this man and his store do not deserve to be supported by the Providence community. Roger(the owner) met my fiancé and I at the door. We had just picked up a purchase next door at Jos A. Bank and he saw the bag and the first words out of his mouth were, «you didn’t buy something THERE, did you?» Not hello or how are you, but instead he immediately started belittling us for our choice to buy next door. Now, I understand small businesses really need to be supported. We have almost exclusively designed our entire wedding and 2 wedding showers using small businesses. However, I have a very hard time finding men’s clothing that fits well because i am short and the coat I found at Jos A. Bank just happened to be a really great sale and fit perfectly. I am a fan of fine men’s clothing however and am having my wedding suit made by a bespoke tailor in NYC and am not afraid to spend a few dollars for quality clothing, so cost is not the real issue for me choosing clothing. This man and his tactics however were really repulsive and distasteful. I went into his store to look at ties to possibly wear to my wedding. My fiancé and I love supporting small local businesses for our special day and very well could have spent some money there today. He literally managed to chase us out of his store before we could even begin to look around by INSULTING us on our choice to buy an item some place other than his store. I am not saying his clothing is not quality, I am however saying this man has a horrible approach to customers that are more than willing to pay to support a small business. He was aggressive, demeaning, and unbelievably rude. I am SHOCKED his suit shop has been around as long as it has given the manner in which he approached us today. Simply put, he is a domineering, rude, know it all and I am happy I bought my suit and overcoat for the most important day of my life from people who appreciate my business.

Very nice store with great cloths. Bought a very nice jacket. Good staff and good selection. Recommended. Bought a jacket which they altered at no charge.

One thing is for certain. These gentlemen will go above and beyond for their customer. With a very short timeline for tailoring and adjustment, Franklin Rogers Ltd did exactly what they said they would and got me suited up and to the church on time. Many compliments were given on the suit I was wearing which I will pass along to the staff at Franklin Rogers Ltd. Well done. I look forward to my next visit.

Went in to buy my first suit for a wedding this weekend and was very impressed with the service. The employee took his time explaining everything to me and helped find a suit that fit nicely,

I am conflicted about this review. On the one hand, I support local small businesses and really desire to review them favorably. This store also has a lot of very fine men’s apparel that is classic and reasonably priced. Unfortunately, there are 1 or 2 men who are consistently rude to me at this store. For example, when I lived downtown, I used to want to give the store business, so I would elect to do my dry cleaning through them. I was snubbed several times, as I was when I came in to look for men’s ties. This hurt my feelings and I unfortunately now have given my business to Nordstrom’s.
