Golden Crust Pizza

Always good for a late night pizza fix, so that’s a good thing. But the pizza itself is nothing to right home about. Not overly bad, per se, and it certainly is good enough to visit, but I wouldn’t go out of of way to get it or brag about them.

Ordered food from here as its one of the only places that will deliver late. Food finally arrived at 3:45am. It was the wrong order. Asked to have them bring me my correct order. The manager called me and apologized, said he would put a rush on it (but tries to get me to change my order to a pizza instead), and then says he will throw in some desserts for my trouble. Ok. Correct order finally arrives at 4:45am and… no desserts. Needless to say I won’t order from here again. Ended up going to bed at 5:30am because of all the nonsense and never even got what was promised. Not good at all.

So, after the first time I had bad service, the manager contacted me and offered a free pizza. I declined and ask that maybe they could just donate one somewhere instead, which they said they would, so points for that. Because of this, I said i would give them another try. Bad idea. Ordered small pizza and fries. Fries arrived cold and old and soggy and pizza arrived both cold and way overcooked. Won’t be giving them another shot. :(

Ordered pizza & salad here via Foodler tonight, and it’s one of the better pizza’s I’ve had since moving to Providence! Perhaps because I went through Foodler, it only took 45 minutes to receive our order.
I ended up with a small cheese pizza & garden salad. The pizza reminds me of my favorite place in Worcester so I was extremely satisfied. Chewy, soft crust and a nice helping of sauce. Perfect. The salad was pretty good as it wasn’t a typical bagged salad tossed in a container. Lots of veggies included.
We also ordered a small buffalo chicken pizza and it certainly lived up to the hype.
For dessert I splurged on the fried brownie bites which came with a caramel dipping sauce. A little crispier than I’d like but still a sweet ending.
I’ll definitely order from here again. though ordering through Foodler added another $ 3 onto our bill, to receive it hot & fresh was completely worth it after reading some of the reviews.

We waited for 2 hours for it to never arrive. They told us it would be 10 minutes for an hour. They were barely apologetic. Never ordering from here again.

Just ordered this today because la nova in Johnston was closed and/​or not picking up their phone. Always… Throughly surprised! The delivery was fast under 40 mins! The French fries were crispy not soggy. We had the buffalo chicken pizza it was good however I think the calzone might be where it is at… We each had a wrap… Loved them and their homemade kettle chips are great! You don’t see many pizza places giving you chips and having to pay extra for a «add on» bravo!

I prepaid on my debit card, the order never came, they still charged me for it. If they really want my $ 13 then fine, but next time I’ll take my business to Big Tony’s and make sure all of my friends know to do so too.

I was contacted by the owner and he made everything right. I really do appreciate that level of personal customer service and it’s good to know they care about their company enough to fix something if it’s broken.

I ordered my food at 2:05am and i got my food at 3:30am and my pizza was cold and my cheese fries were burnt don’t ever order from here! Waisted of money!!!

Got a small pepperoni and onion pizza here last night, $ 9.00 and change, I’ve had donuts that were bigger. Not only was it very small it was soggy. First and last time for me.

Honestly, was not impressed at all. I ordered a buffalo chicken warp which was okay but nothing I would order again. The chips that came with it were chewy… don’t know if they’re home made chips or not but should probably rethink the recipe if so. I also ordered the calamari salad which was also nothing special. Literally was just calamari thrown onto some greens with green peppers, onions, black olives and a few cucumbers & tomatoes… could of made it myself at home minus the calamari which didn’t have too much taste to it anyway. Don’t think I’ll be ordering from here again… save the trouble and get something worth your money.

That being said, this will be my first. First let me say that overall, I like their food. It’s decent pizza, a little expensive, but not enough to keep me from ordering. The usual 45 – 60 minute wait time even, still doesn’t deter me when my only other option for pizza is Domino’s.
Tonight I ordered two large pizzas at 10:10PM. They just arrived, at 12:10AM, two hours. for two pies? Seriously? This is ridiculous, frankly. They are I’m sure very busy. Why not invest in the business and expand the kitchen/​hire more drivers to help support their business. It’s only common sense.

Golden Crust used to be better 10 years ago but we still order the buffer chicken pizza sometimes to reminisce. The pizza is sort of tasteless. The crust is bland and doughy, the cheese is bland and greasy and without fail there are always only two little (and too little) pieces of buff chicken to each slice of pizza. I did used to like the steak and buffalo chicken combo sub but haven’t had one in a while. Step up your game golden crust, your not quality.

I absolutely love GC. Where does one start, buffalo chicken pizza just tell them a little crispy and you’ll understand why it’s one of the busiest pizza places in this area. Crispy or grilled chicken salad with ranch is a favorite of mine because you can eat salad to your hearts delight and have leftovers for a dinner wrap. The pasta dinners are cheap, come with bread sticks and are enough for 2 – 3 people. Buffalo tenders, Greek pizza, veggie pizza, buffalo chicken subs and steak are great.

I will literally never order from here again I got a barbecue chicken calzone and no where did it state there is onion and I’m allergic to onion and I was sick all day and couldn’t call till the next day and kept the calzone for proof and try said there’s nothing we can do that’s your fault

I’ve been ordering pizza here since I went to PC over 10 years ago. The quality is no longer there. The pizza sucks and the lady that works there is rude and has horrible customer service. They get the order wrong half the time as well and do not do anything to resolve it. Don’t waste your time and order somewhere else.

They are around the corner and they deliver. I also get to be true to form antisocial when ordering online.
I was without a vehicle for a few weeks, grocery shopping hadn’t been done and I was very hungry on a sunday night. What’s a girl to do? She then realizes Monday is a holiday, and she’s not working, therefore needs to feed herself at home that day. WIshing she wasn’t about to, she makes the plunge and orders GC online.
The pizzas are solid, I’ve gotten a premade one and have customized one. Typically I order a small pizza and a greek salad and the 2 items feed me for a couple of days and they don’t break the bank. I wish they had an option to order extra sauce though, I feel like that is sort of lacking on their pizza, then again maybe I just like lots of sauce on things.
I’m sure the next time I find myself not wanting to leave the house or not able to (take that as you wish) I’ll be opening up a browser and ordering something else from GC.

Took my whole order at 3: am jus to tell me at the end they don’t deliver to my area… This is not the first time I ordered, they have great food and delivered to me before… Why shut me down this late when no one else delivers… Disappointed

If you’re looking for fancy, high-​quality pizza, don’t bother with Golden Crust. This is a place strictly for drunk food and comfort food, but they do it really well.
For years I have loved their buffalo chicken pizza. It is LOADED with cheese and has just the right amount of spicy chicken. And it comes with plenty of bleu cheese for dipping… enough for every bite. If it’s been a long hard day and you really need something greasy and satisfying, get this pizza.
Most of their other pizzas are pretty good too, and they totally live up to the name «Golden Crust.» Their crust is crispy and golden on the outside but nice and doughy on the inside.
When I order from here I mostly stick to the pizzas, but their buffalo wings are pretty decent too. They’re not the super messy saucy kind, but are made with a buffalo batter. Not the best I’ve had, but the wings are pretty good size and good quality.
Delivery was super quick when I lived in the PC area, but since moving it’s (understandably) taken a while longer to get my pizza. I’ve never waited more than 45 minutes, and the food had always been hot. The drivers are also typically very nice.

Provhy, go get a slice.
