What an amazing experience I had this afternoon with my friend Wilson. Jessica was a fabulous bartender! She kept us entertained and made us feel right at home! Thanks Jess and Harry’s Crew

Remember, there are two Harry’s Bar & Burger’s here in Providence: One on Main Street and one in Federal Hill. I have been accustomed to calling in an order and then coming to pick up because I don’t think the quality of the burger really changes AND I don’t have to sit in a room full of people trying to push me around. Seriously both of these places are always busy mainly because I think A. The food is awesome and B. The food is cheap. I might as well throw C in there and that is they are open many of the days of the week that other restaurants are not. My favorites are the MOAB, pastrami and the pig pile although the fungus, crunch are also excellent choices. Of course one of their best things on the menu is the ice cream sandwich. Standard chocolate cookie that is perfectly crunchy but yet soft with a very nicely made vanilla ice cream. You can get those to go too ;) Sometimes the location on Main Street can get really busy and I turn to the one here on Federal Hill that is always ready to take my order. It’s just a little more cumbersome for me to drive but I will make the drive for Harry’s! Park on the street just off of Atwells and you’ll be sure to find a spot. Call your order in early and they’ll be ready for you when you arrive!

I’ve never really understood the Harry’s draw. I like the space on Atwells and the staff is friendly, but the food is just eh. I’ve tried several of their burgers and fries options and just recently I tried the pulled pork. I was more disappointed in the pulled pork than the burgers, but that’s not saying much. Every once in a while I come back here thinking that I must just be missing something, but each time I leave feeling the same way.

Went here a few weeks ago and loved it! The sliders are outstanding and the local beer and cider selection is on point.

It’s a cute place and the team is very accommodating and friendly. We went there watching Patriots game, we had a good time. The food has a good taste but the portion is so small. What i did not like is they put a small price on their menu, but the portion is so small so you need to order two.

My family and I ate here and we all loved it! I had the MOAB and it was delicious. My son had the bacon cheeseburger and my husband had a spicy burger that we can’t remember the name but it was mouth watering. The sweet potato fries are just right, crispy on the outside and tender in the middle. Excellent wings for our app… Three thumbs up from us! We would highly recommend Harry’s for a casual night out. Our server was great and enjoyed my bacon Bloody Mary! You can’t beat the FREE valet parking either.

I could not think of a way that our experience could have been any better. I called them after getting turned away at another restaurant for a party of 7, the person that answered stated that he would have a table ready for us right away, we were literally 5 min away. We got there and the table was set up, and water was on each place setting. The waitress, Lynne, immediately came over, introduced herself, told us about the variety of beers on draft(very impressive beer selection). When we were getting ready to order she advised us to wait just 15 minutes because the burgers would have half price!!! So everyday they have half priced burgers from 3 – 5, it comes out to about $ 1.50 per slider, AMAZING! So we way overordered burgers but they were great! I would suggest getting a variety and splitting it so you can try many different kinds. BTW, 3 burgers is plenty, but since half price we all had 4 amazing burgers. We all split the sweet potato fries, salt and vinegar fries with cheese on the side. The sauce that comes with the sweet potato fries is awesome! We all got a variety of burgers, they were all great! Also was impressed that any burger on the menu can be substituted for a veggie burger. Lynne provided great service, super attentive, and guided us on what to get and how much. We had numerous drinks, from the great craft beers to mixed drinks to the ice cream shakes(with alcohol!!) we were overly delighted. The accomodations were perfect, definately will return!!!

Awesome burgers and hot dogs. Everything is delicious here, I’ve been 4 or 5 times and I plan on going more often for lunch. Try the cheddar bacon dog!

While looking at apartments in the neighborhood and we felt like stopping in and getting a bite. Around two a clock we got 2 burger sliders and their sweet potato fries. The staff was friendly and the service was quick. It was our first time there and it had a good vibe. I’m sure its fun in the evenings and during their 3 – 5 happy hours. One thing we didn’t like was the sauce that came with the fries. We mixed it with ketchup and it was amazeee.

I love the different style of this Harry’s! It’s more of an open layout. Same delicious food, same delicious drinks! Both times our servers were great. Can’t go wrong with MOAB!

How can a strict vedge, such as myself, support an establishment that touts its patties by affixing a true-to-scale, black and white cow on the sidewalk out front? Perhaps it is the green door, which so happens to by my favorite color(?) Although, it could be their slammin fries — which probably share their oil with who knows what(?) No, no… It’s most definitely their sliders, which come in the weirdo variety, entirely devoid of any meaty stuff. The crust which forms on the outside of the tiny burgers is probably made possibly by a flat top that does not discriminate between vege and carnie, but they’re tasty and sometimes when your normal friends want to go somewhere, you just have to adapt. I might have opened this Unilocal by mentioning the fact that it can get very cold in the back dining area, but if I did, these very words may have been subject to removal thanks to the all-knowing Carrie from SF. Cuz, you know how people from the West Coast know more about places in Prov than the residents of the city. Talk about having a cow.

I’d heard nothing but great things about Harry’s and was really excited to check it out but was not very impressed. Mostly, I hated the layout and very cramped feel of the place. It felt like everyone was siting on top of each other — and on horrible, uncomfortable chairs, to boot. The place was full when I arrived but nowhere near bustling enough to warrant the level of confusion there seemed to be among the staff. We were left standing in a cluster of people crowded at the door for over 15 mins before being seated at a table that had been cleaned and sitting empty for almost the entire time. That being said, after the initial confusion staff was pleasant, helpful and accommodating. Everyone in my group loved their food and I had a perfectly made martini. All in all, the food is good and reasonably priced, staff is friendly enough and they serve booze. There isn’t much wrong with Harry’s as long as you arrive without expectations.

I was craving a burger and five guys unfortunately doesn’t serve beer so the solution was Harry’s on the hill. The MOAB sliders hit the spot but it was cooked well done even though I asked for it medium. The sweet potato fries were ok. They were really mushy but edible. They weren’t as bad when I washed it down with an Oatmeal Stout. I’d go back.

I usually really enjoy this restaurant, but this time was pretty bad. I went there with my friends and our kids on Columbus Day, which I understand is a busy day because of the festival. I’m pretty sure the server forgot to ring in my food because all of my friends got their food and it was still 20 minutes until I got mine. When I did receive it, it was cold. Also, one of my friends asked for a side of mushrooms(she ordered mushroom and Swiss burgers, and they didn’t put the mushrooms on)… The server brought her a side with TWO pieces of sliced mushrooms. We all have infants so when we have a moment to eat, it’s really important that it’s quick! The only perk was that the server was a nice girl… Very apologetic. I don’t think I’ll be back there for a while, though.

The menu looked awesome, but we had reservations elsewhere. Stopped in for a few beers because a friend recommended the place based the their beer list alone. So glad we did. The selection was a great mix and has something for everyone. For summer months, o am now obsessed with Cisco Grey Lady and they had that along with several other wit, Hefeweizen, saisons and lighter session options. Can’t wait to return and try the burgers, which I’m told are off the charts. The next visit won’t be far off…

Always Delicious Sliders I love Harry’s. I don’t exactly love the new location. It is a little too modern for me, seeing the focus is hamburgers and craft beer, but the place is nice. If you’ve been to Harry’s you know they specialize in hamburger sliders. You get 2 sliders for 6 bucks. I can eat 4 at least. They are made with quality beef and the place really puts a lot of effort into this product. I have never gotten a bad order, very consistent as well. I still prefer the North Main Street location but if your on The Hill and want a burger you really can’t lose. Tip: Their Happy Hour is everyday till 4pm, ½ price burgers and drink specials. Thanks

This review isn’t for the food, but for the beers on hand at Harry’s. We were hanging out at the Providence Oyster House when the Bartender there informed us of the beer listing at Harry’s, specifically the Heavy Seas Phantom Ship(Their new trippel that is aged in Bourbon Barrels). We paid our tab and left for Harry’s. When we walked in it was not that busy and there were definitely open stools available. They had a solid beer listing, better then what i would have suspected for a burger joint. We ordered what we came for and it was worth every penny. Strong banana odor on the nose with a great mouthfeel. Couldn’t believe that was a 10% brew. After we finished the Phantom Ship which is a 10% abv, we moved on to another solid brew they had on tap, The BIGLUSCIOUS. Chococate, coffee and cherries oh my. This was a great stop on our little tour of Providence. The bartender was super nice and let us sample a couple of other local brews that were on tap. I don’t know about the food, but I would definitely come back here for the beer! Cheers!

We passed through on our trip from Boston to New Haven. Epic stop. These sliders hit the spot. I highly suggest the Buffalo Chicken. The MOAB was pretty solid too. Their choice of craft beer was extensive. Eight to ten on draft and a long list of local choices in cans. I went with the Whale Tale Pale Ale out of Nantucket. Winning. Inexpensive. Great service. Awesome choice for the late lunch!

I’m sorry Lillie’s, but Harry’s is now my favorite burger on the Hill, and maybe beyond. I came in on a Wednesday for Happy Hour when I was hankering for a burger, and man, was I not disappointed. I sat at the bar, and the bartender was pleasant and on top of everything. He even brought water for me after I ordered a Shirley Temple, AND knew to ask if I wanted my ST made with Sprite or ginger ale. +13234 points! The sliders themselves were cooked beautifully, not like hockey pucks as most sliders are, but instead with a nice crisp ‘crust’ on the outside and juicy but not undercooked inside. The onion straws were en point as well. Lightly fried, not too greasy, and the only complaint I have is that it’s too much for one person! This is a sharable side – and I’ll be going with the S+P fries next time. I plan on making this a Wednesday treat on my work from home days… the happy hour prices makes this be a 10 $ or less lunch… but even so, without the happy hour prices, I’ll be back! Well worth it!
