Love this place you could say I’m a regular. The staff Joe and Nancy are the best. So sweet and welcoming. Its a living room atmosphere that everyone would love. The drinks are very reasonable and I’ve bought many cigars as gifts and everyone loves them. Its truly a shame that the main aficionado is married.

My favorite place to meet friends & have a reasonable priced drink. I don’t smoke but they do seem to have a good range of cigars. Nice comfy seats and four large flat screen TV’s great place to watch your favorite teams. Plus free parking in the rear and they never close early !

I picked up some cigars for my friends bachelor party and I must say, while it’s know Ale House Cigar, it’s filled with some of the friendliest people out there. It feels a lot like a living room when you walk in there. Very comfortable, reasonably priced drinks and cigars. There is a good sense of this cigar bar being a little less elite than the others — but that’s not a bad thing. This is definitely a John Q. Public’s cigar joint. The good thing is that if you don’t know a lot, you can ask. You’ll never be sneered at or made to feel like some dumb kid. Everyone is there to relax, you should too.

Great relaxed place for a smoke and a drink. They have comfy chairs and good tv and music along with people who are friendly and nice not pretentious like some cigar bars.

This is a typical neighborhood joint. Mostly regulars but they will make you feel welcome as will owner Joe and day time worker Terry(She’s a real sweetheart). Don’t come here for fancy shmancy or a huge selection of cigars. Instead, drop by for simple drink(They have booze and beer) and a good cigar in a clubby atmosphere with comfortable chairs and a big screen TV’s. Great place to digest your recently consumed meal on the hill with the aid of a cigar and a drink. Reasonable prices and open late.

i’m not complaining when there’s a place where we can sit down, enjoy a drink, smoke some cigars, and chill with friends, without having to Frebreze anyone’s living room for the next 3 weeks. that said, if you would just take a quick stroll on Atwells Ave, you’ll find at least 5 other establishments offering similar goods and services, probably at different price points. this place, i would call it a neighborhood joint, with a lone, seasoned bartender(owner?), some regulars, and a limited variety of cigar and drinks selections(i wouldn’t go beyond the liquor+soda category, but all i needed was a Bailey’s anyway). with the prices at single digits, and our glasses being filled quite generously, one really can’t complain. there were a couple TVs there showing different sports, and plenty of sports & smokes magazines lying around. swiveling leather single-seaters were comfy, ventilation came a little late but adequate, bathroom was clean, space was adequate… it was a good time over all. and if you enjoy a Jersey Shore kind of clientele providing for entertainment on the side, this is totally the place to be. it was just hilarious people-watching while in the place that night. oh, the Situation! after we paid and left, the bartender guy chased after us just to give us the original receipt back — so nice! for the cheap prices and that, one more star.

I went in, and no one behind the bar. I look over the three men sitting and watching loud baseball. The young(40s) one in the stained wife-beater gets up. He shares that he is bar tending for his owner relative, since the real bartender quit. He tells this to my boobs, and asks if I’m single. I pay and leave. This was 4 months ago, walk by everyday and see no one in side who is not the owner or relative, though I have noticed that it is often closed.

I place my fedora on the hat rack, my jacket on the supple leather seat, and drift over to the humidor to pick out my cigar. A dame tosses me the keys to it. Name was Aubrey. A smile and personality that lights up even the darkest soul of a man: to be continued: Real nice place, they just got a full liquor license, working on getting taps put in, but right now have all the hard alch you could want. Girl working the place was real sociable and kind. Let us eat some of her fries. And talked to us as we were there pretty early. Gave me some tips for where to go on the atwells strip since I’m a newbie to the area. Prices were great for the alch, and though I don’t smoke, the most expensive cigar was $ 15 so not too shabby. Lot of older italian men with good humors will saunter in as the afternoon wains. Takes a thick skin and good nature to put up with that every day I bet! haha. I’ll definitely be back, it’s the personalities that make this place a 5.
