I’ve been coming here since a child and every time I eat here I am satisfied. The food is delicious and always made with love lol they’re always consistent and I love that. Prices are decent too!

Came in just to eat quick. I’ve Been waiting to leave and the waitress isn’t paying any attention. Only one free refill for coffee I only got one cup anyway because she heated it in the microwave before serving it and added the milk for me. Food is blah. The environment isn’t super off just very quiet. Not gonna recommend this one… It’s been 12 minutes and I’m still waiting for her to come over so we can leave …

Cute mom and pop hole in the wall. Honestly the worst experience ever though because of the service. I don’t know if our waitress was new or what but she had no idea what she was doing. She was nice and the food was good. The owners were both there I think a different waitress would have changed our whole experience.

Fantastic mom and pop diner on Federal Hill. I definitely did not expect this kind of diner in Providence, but was happily surprised. The prices are FANTASTIC, especially for the Northeast where everything seems to cost an arm and a leg. I had the Linguiça, egg, tomato, and lettuce sandwich, the strawberry pancakes, and some coffeemilk. Everything absolutely blew my expectations out of the water. Service was on point! The waitress was extremely kind and helpful.

I could have sworn I sat down and instantly my pants transformed a poodle skirt and I had pin curls. What a blast to the past! Very comforting. I felt at home. My bacon was absolutely perfect and that never happens. The prices were good prices that an average family could afford. The service was laid back but efficient and friendly.

Greasy spoon old school diner with a classic American breakfast and lunch menu. Pricing is consistent to what Fonzie must have paid on Happy Days. I would have no idea how this place can afford to exist on what they charge, except for the fact that Royal Lunch has pictures of generation upon generation of happy customers on their run down walls. I like this spot more for mood than food but it’s worth a visit even just for nostalgia. Plus, the service is as sweet as good old American apple pie.

I LOVE this place. I don’t care about décor, I care about good food, decent portions and great customer service. Royal lunch, is an authentic honest to goodness mom and pop diner. Food is always hot even when ordering it as take out. Prices??? They are great as well not like some of the more trendy diners that are populating the hill these days.

Forget about the name Royal, that is reserved for the others breakfast stops that take your wallet before you leave, still feeling lastnights Vodka cocktails. This is the grease drippin’ from the spoon and watch it happen, the cook is in her element, she’s been there foreva, the food is no nonsense, straight up good. Linguica, grits, eggs any style, burgers with bacon and fries(not as good as Lily’s) and lots of food, people watching. Its family owned, the owners are always there, great people, clean, seats at the counter when it isn’t too busy. I reccomend this because this is where I go, I turn my nose down to over-priced, cold, waiting forty minutes for nothin’ brunch spots. Seriously, its breakfast, keep it simple.
