The Duck & Bunny is one of my favorite spots in Providence. Perfect for dates, this cozy little nook has a lot to offer. From sweet and savory crapes to the most amazing truffle fries on the planet, you can’t go wrong bringing a date or a few friends here.

My HS friend, bf and I stopped by here for more post-dinner chit chat. It was perfect and place opens past midnight. Really a gem for 3 New Yorkers…

The duck and bunny have so many amazing choices. The food is always fantastic and the drinks are always amazing and it’s awesome to be able to tip your experience off with a delicious cupcake. The ever changing menu for cupcakes is awesome! I have been going to the duck and bunny for awhile and have brought many people all who enjoy the delicious food available.

If you’re looking for some fancy type tea time snacks and meals this is your place. Can we call it pricy? Maybe to those who don’t know how much their cheeses and ingredients cost. High quality food with a touch of Victorian nostalgia. A reno’ed house in Wickenden makes a lovely place to sit back, have a quality cocktail and eat delicious cupcakes and crepes!

Duck and Bunny was cool. We stopped in for Sunday brunch and it was cute. Charming interior, each space had a different style and vibe about it. Decked out with small tables and some bar seating, it’s equal parts snug and cozy. We were seated promptly and within minutes our orders were taken. My girlfriend and I both shared the«Eggs Bun-a-Duck» with ham and the«Thomas Henry» crêpe with bacon. I think it’s fair to say both hit the spot and were pretty tasty. Service was agreeable. They have a respectable tea and pastry menu, will have to report back next time! From 10am-4pm though, you’ll be sure to find carefully prepared, unique, and, most importantly of all, delicious brunch options.

Steps away from the india point park, this place offers refreshing teas and quick bites. Suggest the chamomile vanilla tea and amazon spice teas. They happily offered a hot water refill on the teapot. We also ordered a banana foster sundae, which wasnt great. The place is a bit cramped, but people dont seem to hang around for too long.

From out of town visiting Providence. Their version of the Bloody Mary is good. I had the omelette which was good. Not amazing, but good. Also tried the lavender honey cupcake which was perfect ending. Did not leave feeling full which was great, but if you’re used to bigger brunch make sure you get a side.

Tea here is great but cupcakes are terrible. Very dry cupcakes, skip them and opt for tea. Their White peony tea is the best! Very nice place to take a date if you want to be able to talk in a dim lighted setting. Tables are very close together though if you don’t mind people hearing your conversation. The inside looks like you have been transported to an old French quarter — creepy animal headed paintings and chandeliers included. This is an actual old home that has been turned into a small tea room/restaurant.

This place is a dream, and aptly called a «snuggery.» It is located in a small house decorated with high plush chairs to cute coffee tables in the waiting room. The dining space is small(2 rooms), so there’s often a wait. Brunch is served from 11AM to 4PM, with afternoon tea available as well. I came here for brunch with a friend and was impressed with the menu options — from a variety of cupcakes(including vegan and gluten free, though small cupcakes are available only later in the afternoon) to great takes on eggs benedicts to an extensive loose leaf tea menu, I wanted to order it all. I ordered the Mazzy Star crêpe with rosemary, portobello mushrooms, and truffle oil. The crêpe was the right amount of buttery, and the rosemary added a nice flavor. The dish wasn’t over-seasoned. My friend ordered the eggs bun-a-ducks with potato pancakes(rather than English muffin), bacon, pesto, and tomato, and it was delicious. The side salads are pretty small, however. I also ordered a pot of the coconut truffle black tea, which was aromatic and smooth. I’ll come back and try other items whenever I’m back in Providence! Next up: any of the sweet crepes or the well-known savory sweetbread pudding benny.

Way overpriced for the type and level of food that they serve. I mean, if you ever go to a Russian restaurant, you’ll get much better blini for 1⁄3 of the price. Also, the service is disgusting. The waitress made us look like idiots at least 4 times. I don’t know how do people give this place all these stars…

Very cozy place with good food. Came twice and both times I enjoyed my food and experience. Where to begin… first time I came, I sat at the bar where they display their cupcakes in the glass. The service was a bit disorganized but overall got the job done. There’s not much seating in the place, maybe a few tables of 2 – 4 and 1 big table that can fit 6. 1) Roast beef crêpe — Good enough to split amongst two people. It had a very flavorful taste with some salad on the side. The crêpe was thin but soft and delicious. 2) The Angelina — Savory then sweet. It had all the flavors in an interesting mix that I didn’t initially expect. It had sour, exotic, then sweet taste with the powdered sugar and blueberries. 3) Strawberry, caramel crêpe — This reminded me of Pocky sticks and overall was very good and not too sweet. 4) Hot chocolate — Average tasting, not too sweet or too hot. It came in a nice small cup. 5) Amazon Spice Tea — Add sugar to this one to help bring out its taste. It was warm and not too hot. It had a nice flavor to it. 6) Coconut Tea — Very flavorful and smelled amazing. Add some cream to this and it is still awesome. 7) Green soup with goat cheese — It had chunks of cheese inside which was great. It had a thick texture with grainy residue as well. Overall, it tasted fresh and I enjoyed it. Overall, I’ll come back for a light dinner or lunch or for some tea time when I’m in the area. I can see this place getting packed really quickly.

Duck & Bunny was one of the first places I found early on in college that I was immediately drawn to. Back when trekking to Wickenden was considered the adventure of the week, D&B was treated like a hidden treasure, saved only for special occasions. Somewhere along the way, I stopped going– it’s not that I forgot that it was there. I probably passed it several times a week. But I think I forgot about the early memories at D&B. I forgot how special it was. I found my way back here recently because my roommates love Duck and Bunny. Every so often, I’d come home to a slew of mini cupcakes from D&B, reinvigorating the nostalgia. I figured it was time for me to stop in. Having done so, I wish I’d gone back sooner. D&B is unique in every dimension– in its décor, its ambiance, and its offerings– but, to me, what makes it special is that it feels very much like Providence, like home… snuggery really is the most apt descriptor. As countless of reviews have said, Duck and Bunny is cozy, comfortable, warm– equally well suited for a lively weekend brunch, a romantic evening, a relaxed night catching up with great friends. Come for the atmosphere. Or the dessert… the banana split will blow you away. They are not messing around with this. It is ginormous(see photo) and can be easily split among three people. Not what one typically imagines when I say banana split, but D&B’s creation is a crêpe loaded with vanilla ice cream, fresh strawberries, bananas and chocolate syrup, drizzled with caramel sauce & candied walnuts. Better than it sounds. When it comes to cupcakes, Banana Nutella is my favorite. They have numerous creative cupcake options available each day as well as gluten-free options. As for savory foods, the specialty crepes I’ve had here have been really tasty and, in case the craving strikes you, they serve truffle fries — the only place on Wickenden to have fries in the evenings. Prices are really reasonable, given the quality of the food/desserts, service(professional/polite), and ambiance. No pressure to order more than what you want. Once, we came in and split one order of the banana split– they were extremely friendly, never rushing us while continuously filling our waters. You’ve won my affections, Duck & Bunny.

How can you pass up a place called a snuggery? THis restaurant is in a converted house. It is decorated in an eclectic shabby chic cozy way. We were there for dessert. Excellent, decadent dessert crepes. Yum!

Had my reservations about coming to brunch bc of the enormously long lines, but after checking in ~1030 on a Sunday, I took my friend around the rest of Fox Point and sipped on coffee while we took in India Point. Not a bad use of time :) Came back just in time to be seated(place was packed to the brim!) and we quickly placed our orders. I’m always a sucker for eggs Benedict on any brunch menu but we also wanted to try something a bit more unique! Settled on the Neapolitan after all those Unilocal photos and shared the two to have something savory and something sweet. The fun twists on classical paintings also make this place a must to take any visiting friends!

This is honestly one of my all time favorite places to be. The servers are always nice and friendly, and they remember me because I’m such a cupcake junkie. I love the atmosphere here, it’s small and adorable. The outside patio is really cute as well. I highly recommend the Lavender Jasmine tea. Whole lot of flavor and I’ve been told it has about as much caffine as a cup of coffee. I always get the savory crepes. I love the Creperito(I always add ground beef), and

I still think it’s overpriced for what you get, but they TOTally nailed my snow day blues with their warm crepes, so I have to bump them up a star. Annnnd the Drunken Raspberry hot chocolate is the best drink in all God’s creation. I’ve written about it in the top hot chocolates of RI, and I think you need to experience it for yourself. Feel free to let me know how your life has been made better because of it.

Looking for an after-work hangout? After date dessert? Night cap? Drinks and dessert? The Duck and Bunny has never disappointed me. From the service to the snuggery, this place is perfect. I’ve been coming here for a few years since attending school in RI and whenever my parents or friends from out of state come to visit, this is the go-to. All that you need to know is below: –cupcakes come in regular and mini sizes(it’s nice to get a regular and try a mini if you’ve never come here before) –cupcake highlights include: banana Nutella(YUM), carrot cake, red velvet, and vegan oreo –EXTENSIVE tea and coffee menu(caffeinated and non-caffeinated) –Fun cocktail list(reasonably priced, but treat yourself) –Cupcake wine is obviously standard –duck and bunny roll is my favorite(smoked salmon, dill cream cheese, capers, scallions, all wrapped like a little sushi roll and served with chopsticks) –parking is on the street, but usually isn’t too hard to find –waits on Friday and Saturday nights can be rough, but it’s WORTH it –not great for large parties(unless reserved for an actual event), but perfect for intimate night outs –starting with the pomme frites is ALWAYS a good idea –in the summer when it’s nice, they have a back patio(refreshing and nice) –in the winter when it’s cold, they have a fire place and live up to whole snuggery theme –their brunch is really delicious so I hear(I haven’t been yet) Needless to say, if you haven’t been to the Duck and Bunny yet, you’re in for a treat!

Since my daughter is obsessed with tea, a friend of mine suggested duck and bunny for afternoon tea. She described the tea service and I thought it sounded delightful. Unfortunately, after reading quite a few Unilocal reviews, seems some Unilocalers were underwhelmed or not happy with the overall service, I considered maybe checking out a different tea location. Well I decided to give it a chance anyway and I’m happy to report we had a great experience. We decided to go during the week since were in the neighborhood after an appointment. We were seated right away and our server was quite lovely. She answered all our questions about what the afternoon tea consisted of. Our food was brought out quickly and our server checked in on us more than once. I enjoyed the tea sandwiches my daughter not so much but she can be finicky. The sweets were excellent. My favorite was the chocolate chip scone. I have tried scones at other establishments quite a few times and always thought they were just meh but these were exactly what I thought in my mind they should taste like. Warm, not too sweet, just perfection. The cupcakes were above average as well. The waitress also helped me picked some out to bring to my home to my husband. One star was lost because when they say snuggery… they mean snuggery. It’s very tight fit in there and I probably would avoid the mayhem during the weekends here.

Insanely busy, especially on the weekends for brunch at all hours of the day. Be sure to have patience to wait outside in the cold or crammed inside the tight waiting space(the venue has been fashioned out of an old residential cottage). 45 – 60 mins is a fair estimate to wait on weekends. But it’s very much so worth the wait. They have a phenomenal selection of cocktails(think caramel apple sangria and mimosas with sugar garnish around the rims) and cupcakes(think Portuguese sweet bread), Guinness on tap(at a tea place? yes!), and other delights to sample like crepes presented unique ways – in the shape of a purse or rolled and sliced up like sushi and eaten with metallic chopsticks. Seating is very communal, especially if you’re a party of 4 or less – you will be seated with others at tables or at the bar, which isn’t a bad thing because there’s a glass tabletop looking down into a drawer full of intricately decorated cupcakes. Staff are incredibly friendly and the food and drinks come out of the kitchen quite speedily. It’s fun to watch the bartender and barista whip up complicated drinks behind the counter like a speakeasy while you eat and drink. My only complaint is that because the venue is so tiny, it gets very stuffy, hot, and noisy, and people are constantly coming and going through the tight walkways. The tiny house doesn’t make for the best layout for a place jammed with such a crowded seating arrangement.

The Duck and Bunny is my favorite place for brunch in the US: the food is amazing, atmosphere very cozy and the staff is super friendly. And then there are the cupcakes: definitely try one of those(if not several!)
