I have to say, I was really pleased with my visit to University Otolaryngology. I called to make an appointment on Tuesday, we seen Thursday and left with a prescription in hand and an appointment for both allergy testing and a CT scan back-to-back on the same day. The office isn’t huge, but it’s efficiently run and I didn’t have to wait very long to see the doctor. I did have to fill out a slew of forms before being seen, so if it’s your first time, give yourself and extra 10 – 15 minutes to get this done. The doctor, Dr. Rhule, was really kind and personable. He chatted with me about my symptoms, and my preferences in terms of treatment. When I told him I don’t like taking antihistamines or antibiotics, he was very receptive and respectful of that, and even told me he didn’t like antihistamines, either. He gave me a few samples and examined me and I was on my way. While I’m only half way done with the whole process of actually finding out why I have chronic ear, sinus and breathing issues, the initial step at University Otolaryngology was a breeze, and I can only hope that the next chapter is as painless! PS — Parking is very tricky, so be sure to go down Hope and look for Fonze Alley where their private lot is. You’ll risk a Brown Uni ticket if you don’t!

Évaluation du lieu : 4 Providence, RI
I have a lifetime history of mild hearing loss and middle ear involvement, so finding a reputable ENT is a staple for me. Prior to moving to Providence, I was being followed by a specialist at Johns Hopkins in Baltimore whom I adored. He pointed me in the direction of University Otolaryngology and I haven’t looked back. I usually see Dr. McRae, but have also seen Dr. Duff at the Waterman Street location on occasion. Everyone in the office is top-notch and they always manage to fit me in for a sick visit when I’m sure I have an ear infection. In fact, those ladies at the front desk work awfully hard to accommodate most requests. The doctors are patient and explain everything and answer all of my questions, and I’ve never felt like they’re just rushing me out the door. The only part of my initial visit that I wasn’t thrilled with was the audiologist, but thankfully, that can be done elsewhere. I highly recommend the doctors at University ENT for both kids and adults.
