I was owed a credit for the hangar 1. Reason for the owed credit was that my entire meal was cold and soggy. Used my credit; waited over an hour for delivery, once order arrived they only gave me ½ a credit. I spoke to the owner Armando and he didn’t seem to care to fix the issue. I don’t understand why I wasn’t given full credit for both my boneless wings and fries since they were delivered cold and soggy. Anywho I found a bone in my boneless wings. Plus I was charged $ 2.55 for a can of soda. I don’t understand why customers speak so highly of this wing business if they are inconsiderate when credit is due. I’m so done with this place. Especially since there service was terrible my entire pregnancy!!!

I came here during Lord Of the Wings and I really wanted to walk away giving this place a better rating. As other reviews have said, the wings themselves are very good but the service here is very lackluster to say the least. After some initial confusion on the phone I decided to stop in and place my order. The ladies behind the counter seemed annoyed I was using the Lord of the wings coupon but they placed my order and told me to wait. The wait seemed to take forever just for a small order of wings… and the place wasn’t even very busy. When I finally did get my order the wings themselves were delicious, cooked perfect and the right amount of sauce(I went with Cajun BBQ). I love a good order of wings and this place certainly didn’t disappoint. I really wish though they would work on some better customer service and turn around time on their orders. If this place can make some improvements I would come back.

I ordered seven pounds of wings the Monday before the Super Bowl(SIX days in advance), because I was told that Wings Over gets backed up and/or doesn’t accept delivery orders closer to the Super Bowl. The scheduled delivery time came and passed, so I called them — turns out they had left their phone off the hook, so I had no way to contact them and ask whether my wings were coming at all. An hour and a half later, I finally got a call from them(from a different number), asking if I still wanted my food. I asked if I would be able to get any sort of discount for the lateness, and they told me «not today,» but that I could get $ 15 off my next delivery. I went through with it only because I was ordering for a group of friends who were expecting wings, and they told me it would be another half hour. A full hour later(now two and a half hours later than I had ordered them for), the driver showed up. I understand that Super Bowl Sunday is probably the busiest day of the year for a wings place, but they’ve been in existence for several years — they should know what Super Bowl Sunday entails. Two and a half hours late with no discount is completely unacceptable, especially when I was not able to get in touch with them at all that day since their phone was off the hook(this is what aggravated me the most, as I didn’t even know if the wings were going to come at all). I do not plan on ordering from here again, unless they let me use this $ 15 discount on a purchase that’s exactly $ 15 or less. I don’t plan on spending any more money at this establishment.

I have ordered wings from this place many times(they are good) and will NEVER, EVER do so again… and will go out of my way to share my horrendous experience with people and vigorously go out of my way to discourage anyone from ever patronizing this place! Knowing how busy they get on Superbowl Sunday, I called TWODAYS in advance to order my wings. I requested a 6:00PM pick up time to make it on time to a Super Bowl party… I had committed to bring the wings. I was assured that the pick up time was fine… and even reiterated«so my wings will definitely be ready at 6PM, correct?»…and the answer was«YES» When I arrived at 5:55PM, there was a line of people out the door and only what I can describe as an angry mob inside the restaurant. Complete chaos. There were people many, many people who had called at least a day ahead, and paid in advance… and had pick up times as early as 5:15PM and had not received their orders yet. It was bedlam. When I reached the counter at 6:15, I gave the woman my name and my pick up time. She confirmed my order and requested(and confirmed) pick up time… she told me that my order was not ready and that she had no idea when it would be. I was livid… as were many others. We demanded that the manager some out. When he did, he was completely belligerent and aggressive, telling the crowd«can’t you see we are busy?»…your orders will be ready when they are ready. There was zero apology given. It was an outrageous situation and an even more outrageous response. The lack of responsiveness and the utter disregard for customers… who had called ahead, paid ahead, requested a specific pick up time and being assured their food would be ready was unbelievable!!! I left without my food and arrive empty handed at my host’s house. I don’t care how good the wings are… part of a good experience includes service and I have never experienced anything worse. DONOTPATRONIZETHISPLACE!!!

Came here for lunch, service… horrendous…wings…phenomenal! We went there on lunchbreak and we were the second person in line, it took 13 min to give our order. There was one woman working the counter and she kept answering the phone, taking there orders, and ignoring everyone standing in line. I do not know why there wouldn’t be on person taking all of the phone orders and one person taking orders at the restaurant. So now I know to just call ahead on my way there so the order goes in and then just eat it there, lesson learned. The wings came out really quickly, we got a wide variety of wings and they were all cooked perfectly, super crispy, amazing seasoning and the waffle fries are a great side for your wings. I am sure if I had gotten this to go I would have given them a 5 star but just standing there staring at someone consistently answering the phone and not taking an order during the lunch rush(there were others behind me in line) just baffled me.

So good! Worth the hype. I did not realize this place is a chain but it is and if does not taste like w chain. The price maybe w little shocking at first but you get so much food for your dollar. There is a little bit of inside searing and a couple of tvs so you could dine in but I typically do carry out. Street parking and I would recommend calling ahead of you can to place your order.

My husband and I have been coming to your location since it opened. We order there regularly, well at least we used to. Tonight we ordered a wings and fries through delivery. Upon receiving the delivery, we realized they forgot the fried. When my husband called to ask for them to be delivered, we were yelled at, interrupted, and hung up on three different times! The employees we dealt with were John(a shift supervisor), «Mariah» and a girl who refused to give her name. All of these employees apparently need to be retrained in customer service. All you had to do– was send an order of fries. I am a manager in the customer service industry and if any of my employees acted half as rude as any of them they would be fired. Good luck getting good service there!

Seriously so good! Got delivery and the guy who delivered my food was so nice. I got the cajun fries with my boneless tenders and they were yum. The chicken was the freshest chicken that i have had in a long time. The wings were not drenched in sauce but tasteful! Definatly will order from here again!

Garlic Parmesan Wings — say it again — garlic parmesan wings. That just sounds delicious right? Well it should be. I’ve tried Wings over Providence 3 times. I want it to be delicious. I want it to be the best wings I’ve ever had. The reality is that the chicken is dry even with«sauce» AND it’s over priced. I feel like a place that focuses on one main food item should knock it out of the park. Wings over(fill in the name of a city with a college nearby) is an overrated chain. The boneless chicken, though dry, does taste fresh not frozen so there’s your two stars.

They changed their signs, this is in response to the dude-bro that wondered if I was trying to «make a scene». Women can be so hystercal, right? Still smelly and stinks up about a 3 block radius. Unimpressed.

My review was based on my visit in June 2015. The service was OK. We were NOT impressed with the wings. I was in the mood for wings and nothing else was open that seemed good. Some of the wings arrived lukewarm(which was cold) several minutes later. We felt like supporting local businesses but honestly, buffalo wild wings has better tastier wings than«Wings Over Providence.» There was nothing unique about the sauces; in fact, the wing sauces were generic.

This is my third«Wings Over» visit. I’ve been to Wings Over Rutgers(NJ), Wings Over West Hartford(CT) and now this one in Rhode Island. Consistently good. The boneless wings are huge all white meat, juicy chicken fingers. They have a wide selection of different sauces. If you like buffalo sauce they have mild to extremely hot. I usually go with the Honey BBQ and it never fails. Prices aren’t cheap but for $ 25 you have way more than enough for two people. The Hangar 2 comes with 1.5 lbs of chicken, a boat load of french fries, two drinks and ranch or blue cheese dressing. Well worth it.

These wings are overpriced. Most of the sauces are really similar. The boneless wings are passable, but the bone-in wings are better just about anywhere else in town. The food is usually prepared quickly, but the service is pretty sub-par. Counter help must actually be trained in looking miserable. You’re going to try it because people say it’s great, but I doubt you’ll come back a second time.

To the woman complaining about«sexist» posters on the wall– the only posters they have up are of the USN Blue Angels, which go with their motif(right on down to the menu). You’ve either got the wrong establishment, or you’re reaching to make a scene. To everyone else– portions well sized. Pick up is normally faster than quoted, so be prompt for best results(temperature). Delivery is a crapshoot, considering it’s a college town and non-locals get hired. Sauce selection is solid, and dry rubs make for an alternate, and slightly cleaner, snacking choice. Prices are reasonable for order size; quoted sizes in the menu tend to run a bit small– you normally get a bit more weight than you pay for to make the wing count match up, which is fair.

The only reason I am not giving this place a 5 star is the fact that I literally only had just the wings, and only once. Let me tell you though — what a crispy, perfect piece of heaven! Wings can be hit or miss. They can’t be soggy. They need to be juicy. They MUST be crispy. Even with sauce. They did it. They did it! I tried the garlic parmesan dry rub wings and they made the loudest crunch sound that sent shivers. The citrus chipotle — oh man — like a mild, delicious general tao sauce. Anyway, I’ll be back and maybe this review will get bumped up!

This place will give you wings. Yup. They will, and boneless ones too. I like the variety of sauces, The chicken sandwich is often a go to item for me. The onion rings are tasty as well. They are a chain but they are nearby so they work well, right on hope street. The service isn’t spectacular, but not bad eiterh, never unhappy but never blown away either. The thing I really want(and it’s just cause I think it would be easy to do, and always feel like they fit, it breadsticks. I want some. Can you work on that? It’s a good wings place — they have a narrow focus and usually if it’s wings you want. It’s wings you’ll get. They do that well.
